There is already a thread for the Masterpieces of the set, but I'd like one for the regular cards of the set.
Things I'd like or suspect we'll see include:
4 cmc wrath-ish-type effect:
While is seems absolute wraths like the iconic Wrath of God are no longer allowed in this slot, it seems like things like Languish still are. I'd like to see what the new white version is, and save any black wraths to replace the roated Languish for Amonkhet. I doubt it'll happen though, since Fumigate is really powerful, and Standard can probably get by without another wrath while it exists.
1-or-2 cmc blue artifact token generator that isn't an artifact:
Something to go into attempts at Casual/Modern Shape Anew decks without having to rely on other color splash. Perhaps something along the lines of:
Quicksmithing ProdigyU Creature - Human Artificer
Fabricate 1 0/1
1 cmc prowess creatures for blue or white around the same power level as Monastery Swiftspear, perhaps:
NameU Creature - Type
Prowess
Whenever you cast a non-creature spell ~ gains flying until end of turn. 1/1
NameW Creature - Type
Prowess, Vigilance 1/2
This counterspell for the sake of Modern:
Mana SuppressionUU Instant
Counter target spell with converted mana cost 3 or less.
Opt reprint for the sake of Modern (been waiting on this since scry turned evergreen)
From the Ashes for the sake of it entering the modern card pool (although I could easily see waiting for Amonkhet for this one)
Absorb and/or Undermine for the sake of Modern, although again, these may fit better in Amonkhet
Propaganda for the Modern card pool, Tezzeret seems to be outright up to this sort of thing on Kaladesh, so it would be a major flavor win, although it could also be seen in a plane dominated by Bolas like Amonkhet
Angel of Finality, we've got angels, but they've been holding off on grave hate so that Shadows over Innistrad has time to shine, but I think it would be safe to start grave hate by this point, and this would be an excellent reprint to enter the Modern card pool
Wall of Blossoms would actually kinda make sense here, given the way the local elves have made big special gardens in the Greenbelt following the Aether flows
Stranglehold, we've got some relatively strong search right now, so perhaps it is a good time for search-hate
Crawlspace could be interesting flavor wise, I could easily see a situation where there is only one small, possibly trapped path to get into wherever Tezzeret goes with all the inventions and stuff, with other ways blocked off by a magical shield of some sort, but this spot had to be left open for aether flow reasons or was created in secret by the renegades and they are trying to sneak in and surprise Tezzeret
Better burn for Standard, this is Chandra's homeworld set, so her innate strategy should get a chance to Shine. We no longer have Atarka's Command to potentially push things over the top, so how about a Lightning Strike equivalent, or an even more powerful thing than that by a touch with a minor secondary effect like exiling an artifact creature killed by it that turn or un-creature-fiying for the turn and preventing further crewing of damaged vehicles (making them too hot to operate flavor wise) until end of turn
Some big high cmc colorless artifact creature target for Refurbish recursion (unlike Darksteel Colossus which avoids the graveyard) and ramp decks, with evasion of some sort like trample, flying, or menace (unlike Metalwork Colossus) that fights normally without further investment (unlike Mage-Ring Responder or Colossus of Akros), one good enough perhaps for both EDH and Standard.

Blue didn't get any Fabricate in KLD, so I doubt it will in AER.

Reprint or functional reprint of Opt seems very likely to happen one day.

A R/U artificer legend, although with recent revelations on MaRo's tumblr, that is extremely unlikely.
What irks me the most about his response is that WotC have only recently been alerted to people wanting such a legend, despite us having effectively been screaming about it since Time Spiral (Jhoira was such a waste), or at least since Origins.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

I was under the impression that this set was pretty much finished with design by the time Origins was released. WotC is significantly ahead of us, so what we say about X-set and our desires won't come for at least a few years or so. I think if they knew about the RU artificer legend desire after Origins was released, likely the first chance they'd have to fit it in would be Amonkhet, or possibly the block after that, as I think they were already at least started with Amonkhet by the time Origins was released, so might have already not had room to adjust it to make space for that RU artificer legend.
Of course, they still should have known before that it would be desired, due to just how the colors involved tend to work.

They started Kaladesh design as Origins was released, with early exploration done at the same time. They had plenty of time to put a U/R legendary creature in the block, particularly considering that people complained about the lack of a U/R legendary artificer in Origins during the first week after release (But we were told: sorry, Pia and Kiran Nalaar fills the spot, but you will get one soon). We EXPECTED a U/R legendary artificer in Kaladesh when it was announced, precisely because WotC said "Soon". Heck, we voiced our displeasure when we didn't get one in BFZ. So there is no way in Tartarus that WotC were not aware that we both wanted and expected one in Kaladesh. And that, as a long time magic player, and a commander player, rightfully irks me to no end. We have been waiting for it since we were disappointed in TS with Jhoira, and we are disappointed now.

Any chance Chromatic Star will get reprinted? It's quite expensive for a common at $4, is popular in Tron and Egg style decks in Modern and Pauper, and sees play in other fringe decks as well. It's a generic artifact which fits well in an artifact-heavy world, and serves to smooth draws and fixing, which are always concerns for Limited design. It has plenty of interactions with Kaladesh cards, and will probably have many more with the release of Aether Revolt too. Thoughts?
