Goyf, I think, fits in flavor-wise what with Delirium and Madness being in this set. That said, it would be insanely easy to get it huge fast. There are efficient answers however, like Declaration in Stone and Ultimate Price.
My craziest suggestion? Something with Madness:Discard a card, whose text reads along the lines "does x for each card discarded this turn", such as "each opponent discards x cards, where x is the number of cards you have discarded this turn".
Ultimately, some of the cards that many people have said they really wanted reprinted were ones that would likely have made Standard less fun, or at the very least less balanced. Looking back at the past few years of Standard, there were a ton of cards we would've made slightly weaker or stronger today if we had known exactly how they would play out. We're just going to be wrong on a lot of cards.
We try to aim cards for a certain power-level band, and some go above and some below. Note that I say aim—we clearly make cards strong enough for Modern, but they are usually the cards that end up stronger than we expected. Snapcaster Mage, Liliana of the Veil, Huntmaster of the Fells, and Gavony Township are also all cards that were stronger than expected—even if we did expect them to be very strong. Collected Company has probably improved Modern, but is stronger than we'd want for Standard if we were to go back and reprint it in a new set.
Some cards, including Liliana and Snapcster that are mentioned here, doesn't looks likely.
Me? I'm not hard to please. Give me 2 power 1 drop and some other cube staples and I'll be happy.
I certainly don't expect a snapcaster or lili reprint, but lili wasn't all that strong in standard. She was good, but decks were pretty low to the ground during her standard run. She was good, but she was by no means broken. It just shows that eternal staples can be reprinted in standard but the meta has to be strongly adapted for it and most of the time it probably just isn't worth it considering 10 sets have to be designed with the card in mind.

I'm pretty sure that once they printed Falkenrath Gorger it meant that playable burn is permanently dead in Standard forever as a deck archetype (rather than a few slightly over-costed or hoop jumping removal cards with alternate modes), because previously, they avoided printing things like red Savannah Lions without drawbacks specifically because they said it was too powerful in a Standard environment that also contained burn spells, even ones as weak as Shock and Lightning Strike.
I hope that isn't really their decision, since they haven't said anything about it I can recall specifically, but it isn't a good sign given stuff I vaguely recall them saying about such things (not sure where I heard/read it though, so I could be mis-remembering).
MaRo hates burn and he finally got what he wanted, we've stopped asking for it. Now he can be happy designing random lolchaos bull***** he actually likes for red.
And yet everytime they have a chance to give red something new and exicting, like Snapcaster Mage, they give it to blue because they overlap as the spells colors and blue is R&D's favorite.

They gave Snappy to blue because Tiago requested it be blue. Had he not requested that, as was his right as the Invitational winner, it would've been red. I get the frustration, but that's on a Pro Player, not on WotC.

Yep, this. Snapcaster is a very elegantly poor choice of example for this argument.
I just don't want to see them cut out red burn entirely (or almost entirely). Even though red should be more diverse, they shouldn't take away the only good thing it has. That's like saying "we know green has fatties but we wanted to expand in green so we took away green's fatties."
I came to post something else, but now I just want these two more than anything.
But okay, more red madness cards for my terrible mono-red madness deck, or even Lightning Strike or Shock. And also seconding the shout out for a Cavern of Souls reprint, the price for casting uncounterable creatures [insert that meme face here] is too damn high.
I also want a very good white angel with mythic-feeling EDH sized cost and effect.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
I think I'd like to see some enemy commands to go with the dragonlord command cycle.
Cultured Command WB
Mutative Command UG
War Command WR
Twisting Command UR
Rot Command GB
Actually, I think I might like a strong enemy colored theme in general, there seem to be some good reasons to do such, including the hints of it in the previous set, the idea of things getting twisted up and crazy and weird, Sorin and hints of a destroyed by Avacyn angel being WB (possibly one coming back now somehow or a new one being manifested); Nahiri having been RW and riling up some factions of humans in such a fashion not to mention legit anger and conflict riling up such feelings; strange mutations and growths running abound in a UG manner and ancient mysteries being unearthed and hints of bant elements from Tamiyo in some of the lore stuff and the duels game; warping mind-twisting magic running wild and emotionally high, filled with craziness in a potentially UR manner along with the local sorts of mages and alchemists having some of these elements perhaps; general things rotting and necromancy-elements of the plane infesting or breaking out of ancient forests in BG type elements.
I think I'd also like to see a theme of 'last minute surprise heroics in the face of disaster', including lots of flash creatures (particularly ones with combat-trick-like ETB effects) and instant-speed token generators.
With the cursemute gone completely from Avacyn's unmaking, I'd also like to see a ton of cool curses, maybe even some white ones to hint at how strange and corrupt things have gotten.
I'd also like to see what they can really do with the horror tribal elements, and how things are fully crazy now that were merely just starting to go crazy with delierum in the previous set.

The command idea would be interesting to see. There was a white curse in Dark Ascention (Curse of Exhaustion) but no green curse (the one from the Commander 2013 decks doesn't count) so if curses are to make a return I'd like to see a green curse, maybe rare that slows someone's mana down (like Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger's final ability)?
Also, would love to see Morbid return (possibly with a Tragic Slip reprint)
Don't have any cards in mind, but I hope Gravestorm is a mechanic in Eldritch Moon. It would play well with Clues and Eldrazi Spawn, and caring about things dying is reminiscent of Morbid.
Sanctuary Cat based card, but not dead, corrupted or crazified. Make it cute and perhaps more playable in Standard than the original version, perhaps a 2 drop with some kind of ability, like exiling cards from the graveyard on ETB, or having flash and an ETB that counters spells cast with alternate costs (such as madness costs or surge costs)? Perhaps throw on protection from red or protection from devils? Maybe make it aligned with the Talia, Odric, St. Traft faction and/or the Sigarda faction? Perhaps throw on some kind of life-gain mechanic like lifelink or something so that it can be played in some casual cat-themed deck with Felidar Sovereign?
Perhaps throw in some personal spells of various planeswalkers in the block, like Jace, Tamiyo, Sorin, Arlin, Liliana... Tamiyo could have some kind of story-themed something and/or something that cares about spirits, Jace could have some new or reprinted illusion creatures, Sorin could have new or reprinted lifedrain spells with his name on them, etc.
A white or blue 1 drop prowess creature with a generic enough name to stand a chance at future reprints on other planes, along the power level lines of Monastery Swiftspear.
More 2 drop prowess creatures close to the power level of Stormchaser Mage but with different other mechanics and perhaps color setups.
Some kind of cute use for skulk, before it goes away as a bleh mechanic, such as a creature with 0 power which when it successfully attacks without being blocked has some kind of ability trigger from that.
Tamiyo, Keeper of the Scrolls
1UU, 3 starting loyalty
+1: Press For Answers
-X: Sacrifice X Clues: Search your library for a card with converted mana cost X or less. Reveal that card and put it into your hand.
-8: You get an emblem with: "At the beginning of your upkeep, investigate" and "At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control 29 or more clue tokens, you win the game." (32 if you count the iron scrolls?)
...can you tell that I like the Investigate mechanic? Because I really like the investigate mechanic.
And because I really want Tamiyo to join the Gatewatch for no specific reason:
Oath of Tamiyo
2U
When Oath of Tamiyo enters the battlefield, investigate three times.
At the beginning of your upkeep, investigate X times, where X is the number of planeswalkers you control.
I liked Investigate a lot too. Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely to return in Eldritch Moon, since it was a mechanic that followed the story of Jace tracking down the clues leading to corrupted Avacyn and Tamiyo, a story which is over in the first set of the block. I could see it being a returning mechanic in the future, due to popularity more than anything else, but probably not for Eldritch Moon, which doesn't appear like it will have a 'solve the mystery' set story theme like Shadows over Innistrad did.
Also, we already got a mono-blue walker in the current block with the latest Jace, so I suspect the new Tamiyo, if she gets a new card for this set, won't be one. I suspect they'll be making Tamiyo multi-colored, either WU, UG, or WUG, based on the way they handled her story and the pair deck with her and Jace in the Magic Duels game.
Might also be nice to have a last hurrah of dragon related stuff for DoT rotating soon, not sure what, perhaps dragon-friendly, and that curves nice into Thunderbreak Regent.
* A Damnation reprint. It really is about time that happened.
* Emmy v2.0 (I know, some people would hate this - even so...)
* Higher quality cards in general, than in recent times (on average), would be excellent.
A return to higher power Standard-printed cards would make me very happy, IOW.
