Liliana, Heretical Healer shows us that for Magic Origins, each pre-walkers will have specific triggers that would transform them into planeswalkers as well as additional abilities for transforming. Also, the triggers and extra abilities are tied to each character's origin story in some way. For example, when another creature dies from Liliana's controller, it represents how Liliana's brother, Josu, died after failing to cure him and the zombie token shows how the false cure caused Jozu to become zombified. Given this template, what do you all think will be the transform triggers and the extra abilities for each planeswalkers?
Chandra
Trigger: When _'s power becomes N or greater, etc.
Extra ability: _ deals 2 damage to each opponents and to all creatures each opponents control.
Story relation: Chandra's origin story states that she first planeswalked the exact moment she was gonna be decapitated, though if the Magic: Origins trailer is any indication, that may change. The trailer seems to suggest that Chandra gained her spark in the midst of battling her captors and at the peak of her anger, she planeswalked away and devastated the jail and her jailers. I also predict Chandra will have Firebreathing or a variant of it to help her trigger her ability. Chandra being able to trigger her own transformation wouldn't line up with how Liliana works, but I think that this will vary between planeswalkers.
Jace
Trigger: XN: Target player puts the top X cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard. If N cards are put into an opponent's graveyard this turn, etc.
Extra ability: Each player puts the top N cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
Jace's first planeswalking is unknown, however a more notable occurrence happened when he found out that his illusionist mentor erased that memory from Jace and kept it secret. In anger, Jace erased his master's memories nearly clean, then out of shame Jace erased the whole event from his own mind. I think this event is more defining to Jace than his first planeswalking, so I'm guessing that that event will be represented on his card instead.
Gideon
Trigger: If a creature with power 4 or greater under an opponent's control dies, etc.
Extra ability: None. Instead, as a pre-walker, Gideon has "NWT: Tap target creature. If that creature has power 4 or greater, destroy it."
Story relation: Gideon planeswalked after a trance he undertook trying to realize how he had been able to finish off a foe far superior to himself. His lack of an extra ability comes from how powerful his activated ability is.
Nissa
Trigger: Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, if you conrol N or more lands, etc.
Extra ability: ???
Story relation: I don't know what triggered Nissa spark, however I predict it involved her wanderlust getting the best of her.
Maybe, since Gideon's spark ignited due to grief over the death of his comrades, the trigger could be "Whenever another blocking creature you control dies," and the extra ability "Destroy all creatures blocked by that creature" ...
