With Phyrexia being among Magic's most iconic villains, it would seem fitting that they get their own FtV featuring some of the most memorable and notable non-Reserved Phyrexia cards.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I'd love to see this eventually, too. If they were to do it, I think the right time would be right before they revisit the Phyrexia story. As for your card choices, I couldn't see them including more than one praetor, let alone all five, and they would definitely need at least one Phyrexian card from Antiquities.
Love this idea! Not sure if Volrath (as much as I love him) or Ertai fit, since Volrath is more Rath-focused (though there is obviously a big connection) and Ertai was corrupted by Volrath I believe, not by Rath.
Some other cards we could see in it (I'm not bothering to cross-reference the reserve list so maybe these are wrong)
Claws of Gix (they wouldn't have all rares/mythics right?) Phyrexian Altar (definitely need more artifacts in the set)
Phyrexian Crusader Phyrexian Colossus (it was in the duel deck, but I can see this over blightsteel which would be one of the money cards of the set) Phyrexian Plaguelord (THIS CARD IS AWESOME!!!) Phyrexian Obliterator - negator is pretty iconic, but reserved, we should get one in this hypothetical set (or worse: Phyrexian Totem)

Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
