With Dragons of Tarkir now approaching, we could begin speculating of any reprints or remakes for the set. This includes cards you think we will see as well as cards you want to see, so let the discussion begin!
Here is a list of cards I would like to see reprinted.
I'm personally hoping for 4/4 tokens, so a Dragon Roost variant would be more ideal for me. Barbarian isn't a widely supported type nowadays so a functional reprint of Dragonspeaker Shaman sans Barbarian type would be neat. Dragonstalker would have been more appropriate for FRF, but hating on the following set's theme so hard might have been a bad idea. More likely we'd see protection from Dragons in a following block. Dragon Egg would be right on if not for Tarkir's particular method of producing Dragons.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Yeah, I wonder intensely about how they will make low cmc dragons if they do. Dragon Egg would be awesome but I can't see it happening due to the lore as you mentioned. Slumbering Dragon or something like it seems more likely where it has a decent sized body except it can't be used immediately. Dragonspeaker Shaman or something like it seems like a shoo in. I could see a cycle of dragon worshiper cards that support dragon tribal without being dragons themselves. Could Dragonmaster Outcast make a comeback or does anyone think it is too plane specific?
One sure-fire remake is... sarkhan. They need to have a Sarkhan in the DTK set story-wise and it only make sense to create a whole new version.
Based on its current version and today's uncharted realms story, with Ugin comments, I would not be surprised if the evolution of the morph / manifest machanics are human turning into dragons. That would help fill the set with dragons without them be dragons. Easy to have a common dreagoin when it is actually a common 1/1 human with a constly ability to turn into a flying monster.
my guess is that most dragons would have a drawback such as only gaining flying when attacking in red.
form of the dragon would be an awesome and thematic reprint for standard. if the uncommon dragon cycle is any indication for what is to come then thunderbolt could show up too.
I don't recall where it was stated, but in one of the Fate Reforged prerelease columns, it was explained that Fate Reforged "splits" the mechanics of Khans of Tarkir and Dragons of Tarkir. The clans that held over their mechanics from Khans of Tarkir will be getting new mechanics in Dragons of Tarkir, and the clans that received new mechanics in Fate Reforged will further develop those mechanics in Dragons of Tarkir. That, at least, is my understanding.

Nicol Bolas could also make an appearance?
I'd be bold enough to say Bolas (or one of his cronies) is sure to pop up. Right now, there's no "enemy" planeswalkers in the block, which means the inevitable Duel deck has no sensible combo. Also, there's already block art where Ugin and Bolas are fighting.
Breaks down exactly what has been stated here: by design, every clan was going to get either one ability in Khans and Fate and a different ability in Dragons, or one ability in Khans and a different ability in Fate and Dragons. Sultai (and Jeskai and Temur) got its ability in Khans and Fate; they will get a different ability in Dragons. Mardu and Abzan switched from Raid and Outlast to Dash and Bolster - they will continue to use Dash and Bolster (and not Raid nor Outlast) in Dragons.
The dragons produced by storms is weirdly hinting—or at least referring— to Dragonstorm, though it seems impossible they would bring storm back (the stormscale is named stormscale for a reason.). Maybe they will bring it back with storm in text form. Or make Gravestorm a mechanic and make a Gravestorm card making dragons tokens or fetching dragons. (Gravestorm would be a great replacement of delve and I don't think it's that high on the stormscale).
Gravestorm wouldn't make any sense for a Dragon tempest; things died, so the storm produces more Dragons? I figure that could be done as Entreat the Angels but for Dragons (and without Miracle, obviously). It could read something like this:
Dragon TempestXXRRR
Sorcery
Put X 4/4 red Dragon creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.

I really just want a Dragon Hatchling reprint, or a new cheap dragon or two of a comparable power level (maybe a 1/2 for 1RR with firebreathing and haste?) to help enable the FRF dragon legends. And maybe one or two other dragon reprints that aren't plane-locked by name or mechanic (Quicksilver Dragon if traditional Morph is still around? Maybe Spellbound Dragon if there are enemy dragons? I'd love to run Spellbound with Riddle of Lightning in a "Delve CMC shenanigans" deck).
...hell, if traditional Morph is still around in DTK, a Zoetic Cavern reprint would be sweet. Or, well, Ghostfire.

"The true measure of all heroes is not what they achieve, but who they inspire." —Triumph of Gerrard
Well... based on today's lore article, I'm starting to think that we'll see a new Sarkhan card in Dragons of Tarkir, one that doesn't remember the original timeline, and is perhaps a planeswalker who awoke on Tarkir and was found by Ugin and mentored by Ugin, but becomes different than the canon one, perhaps winding up Jeskai colored or like a smaller, colorless Ugin variant, and becoming all enlightened and stuff thanks to Ugin's mentorship, and much happier than the original Sarkhan.
Or maybe it would mirror Sarkhan the Mad somehow and reflect it being enlightened Sarkhan as a servant of Ugin rather than a mad servant of Bolas.
Truth be told, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker was my favorite iteration of the character so far and one of my favorite PW cards overall. I'm not sure he really needs a second card in the same block, but if they come up with something neat, great. But isn't Sarkhan 4 more appropriate for the Prints/Reprints topic? This topic is about Reprints and Remakes.

I know it's not going to happen (because he's from Eldrazi) but I really wish they made another Sarkhan The Mad. I mean, he even has "Khan" in his name!
He has no reason to be mad (in the insane sense) following FRF, as the voice that was driving him mad was Ugin who's hunky dory now and thus has no further need to whisper in Sarkhan's mind constantly.

I actually think gravestorm is a good possibility. From the Fate Reforged Mfiles article for sultai emissary:
KEN 9/4/2013: W → 1B. Now like Butcher Ghoul.
DH 9/16: In a good spot power level wise.
TML 10/30/2013: This is a nice card. [Louie Mechanic] will love it.

Yeah, because of that, I was thinking of a 'reverse' Sarkhan the Mad. Basically, a Sarkhan that starts out with low loyalty, but only has + and 0 abilities.

I had no clue who Maro was until i looked him up and found this. My question is how do i start a thread, just to ask people what they are expecting if time is forever changed due to the affects of going a thousand years into the past to reforge fate. Also, how do i link words with pictures?

Nice guess, but according to Maro, Gravestorm is an 8 on the storm scale, which makes its "official" debut highly unlikely.
