I see multiple things from both KTK and M15 pointing towards a possible colorless theme later in the block. I think this would be a perfect opportunity to print Barry's Land (sixth basic land, taps for 1).
I'm also thinking that we'll see a return to Zendikar block next year and introducing Barry's land between now and then seems to make sense, with the Eldrazi and all.
I know there used to be rules problems with the card when it was first conceived (it would count as both a basic land and a nonbasic land at the same time, stuff like that), but since then the rules have evolved. In Conflux design, they realized that it can work in the rules and that they can actually make a textless version that isn't confusing or ambiguous. The only thing that held them off from actually printing it was that it would change the way a few existing cards worked (like Coalition Victory and Dream Thrush). At that point, it was only a matter of weighing the pros vs the cons, and I think that both are few enough that the impact of it seeing print wouldn't be detrimental to the game overall, while supporting a cool subtheme for a whole set and making colorless decks a little easier to build.
Anyway, that's my opinion. What do you guys think? Is it a possibility?
I agree that there is likely to be a colorless theme in Louie, but I don't think it will result in Barry's Land. Barry's Land is only really good for domain specifically, so if they decide to do it they'll probably wait until that comes back.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
I was thinking about this as well. I think that if we get a basic land like this it will be either in a Return to Zendikar block or it is going to be in a supplemental product like commander. I don't see it being a staple like from here on out kind of thing, but it would be amazing for commander especially if you don't want to dig for 40 colorless lands that only give colorless.
I feel like this would not get played in constructed decks except as a convenience for colorless commander. Is it really good enough anymore?
They would probably need to add in cards that support it specifically to give it any value.

They talked about printing it as a tool specifically to support Domain in the blocks that had it. For all we know, there could be a colorless mana theme later in KTK block that Barry's Land could also support.
Basically, it would be the support card, not a card that needs support.
