Now that it seems almost certain that Ugin shall appear in person during the Tarkir block, I believe that it now is only a matter of time before the Lithomancer appears, as well. I also say that, after today's Uncharted Realms, it is safe to say that Nahiri, mentioned in Ob-Nixilis' recent story, is the lithomancer.
As evidence in favor of the lithomancer appearing in the actual game, I shall use Nissa, Ral Zarek, and Kiora as examples. Each of them appeared in Duels of the Planeswalkers before they appeared in the actual game, and each of them (or at least Ral and Kiora) were highly anticipated before their actual appearances. Now that they have have made their way into the card game, I shall say that Ugin and the lithomancer (likely Nahiri) are now the most anticipated characters in the game.
Does anyone else agree with me? Do you believe that the appearance of Nahiri, the lithomancer, is now a certainty, with the only unknown factor being when, exactly, she shall appear?

I would expect her to come up when we return to Zendikar, unless they decide to go into her story more and Sorin (and Sarkhan?) have to track her to her home plane or something like that.
Additionally, who knows? It's Wizards story. They've got several strategies already in the works. Kiora, Nissa, and Gideon are looking to build up different kinds of armies to fight them. Sorin's looking for his buddies. Bolas'll probably step in if they ever interfere. The Phyrexians could eat the Eldrazi from the inside out. There's an enormous possibility of answers and they don't all rely on Vampy, Stony, and Ghosty.
I don't think Nahiri can be resurrected at this point. Shes a Kor and they aren't a long live or immortal race like Ugin & Sorin are. She was likely dead after the mending which was roughly 300 years before Alara storyline took place. And since we know Bolas basically started ageing again after the mending powered down planeswalkers spark, instead of gaining all the lost aging time he had as old walker and instantly dying, Ugin would presumably have been still around to answer the call when the first seal was tampered with on Zendikar. And Venser, though they never really explained it, was alive for so long because of blinkmoth fluid although it was still killing him anyway.
Furthermore Ugin is being brought back, much like Bolas, by time shenanigans. Wizard won't pull that yet a third time for a character.

Its not like Wizards hasn't mentioned characters before that are dead and gone or just haven't had the opportunity to get a card of their own. Look at the flavor text of Magic cards in any block and you'll see countless characters that seem to only exist there. Part of having a storyline that spans hundreds of years is that your cast of characters is going to fluctuate as they die and are born or fade into obscurity.
I think it's safe to assume that Sorin THINKS she's dead. But it's not a guarantee. The fact that the sentence takes a moment to discuss silence in the first place, something that would be certain if the "Gone" meant "dead," has an implication of disappearance, rather than death. Either option is still possible.
My guess is that we will not see her in card form unless she will be in the commander 14 supplement but will be felt in many ways through the RTZ block. I finally looked up what exactly lithomancy was, the magic of divination through stones. My guess is that she had foreseen the damage the Eldrazi have done on Zendikar and has magically hidden these prophecies and maybe a weapon against the Eldrazi on Zendikar.

Yes, your words make me think of Edgar Markov, who is extremely important to the story of the Innistrad block, but never appears directly in it, so I shall admit that it is entirely possible (but not likely, I prefer to believe) that Nahiri/the Lithomancer may not appear in person in this game.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but Nahiri's job was to make hedrons to power Ugin's spell. They hedrons are still present on Zendikar. Why does she need to be found? Ugin's presence is paramount, Nahiri is not.

The Hedrons serve many purposes, one of them was to keep the Eldrazis on Zendikar. When Nissa broke the main hedron, it allowed the Eldrazis the travel the multiverse once again.

I have not read the book of the Zendikar block, so why did Nissa break the hedrons? Was she unaware of the fact that they were containing a horde of horrifying monstrosities that seek to devour everything that they perceive?

She believed that by breaking it, the Eldrazis would leave Zendikar.
I posted this in another thread, but I think Nahiri locked herself inside a hedron in some sort of cryogenic state, so that she would be released when the Eldrazi were released. Basically, I think she IS on Zendikar, but her hedron hasn't opened yet, or Sorin just didn't see her when she was there.

I've heard this theory a lot and I don't quite buy it. I'm pretty confident she'll be either the white or even red walker in the C14 precons, they mention in "A love letter to Vorthos" that "one is a character you know but maybe not by name", and I don't know of too many walkers known primarily by title, with a name that could potentially be known but not likely.
The same article mentioned that the white walker had strong mechanical ties to Ajani while the Red walker didn't tie mechanically into any known walker, which makes it unlikely she'd be red because A - she is associated with the Kor, and B - the only argument for her to be Red is that lithomancy is quite red in nature, being heavily linked to mountains, stone, ore - essentially, don't forget that Koth was a Geomancer, which includes many skills that overlap with Lithomancy - and as such, if the skill set they decided on for the red walker was a fit for Nahiri as a lithomancer, I think it'd be likely they would have mentioned Koth as a likely candidate before they decided on Pre-mending walkers, rather than stating red would need a new character. Most people seem dead-set that she'd be white anyway, simply because she opposed Nixilis, sealed his powers, and reminded him of the Kor. However, as a closing note, I would say that given the Gisa/Geralf interdeck parallel, I could see Nahiri making her debut as a parallel of Ob in the same fashion.
As for her showing up in Tarkir, I think it'd be unlikely, as while I can't say I think for sure she'd be dead(I'm of the opinion that if she truly were, her silence wouldn't be that troubling to Sorin), I highly doubt they'd be forcing that much leftover Zendikar plot onto Tarkir, it already seems like it's waaaaay too focused on being a dumping ground for loose plot ends they weren't sure what to do with. Let Ugin be a focus for now, and leave Nahiri for the next chapter in "Something plotty this way comes".
To that effect, I feel like the notion that she made herself a cocoon of stone to hibernate is the exact same type of contrived as Ugin being dead - you simply cannot make both missing members of the trio a matter of "I CANT FIND THEM. OH WAIT I DID BUT THEY'RE USELESS THATS WHY I COULDNT FIND THEM. CRY CRY HELPLESS CRY PLOTDEVICE THEY'RE BACK YAY", it's too sloppy. I imagine once we do encounter Nahiri in the main plot, dead or not, she'll have her own scenario. Also, anyone else notice Sorin is AWFUL at keeping track of people?

It's easy enough to lose track of old friends in real life. Many of Sorin's buddies can move between planes, and he doesn't have access to a cellphone with which to simply call them up and ask "where you at, dawg?" Cut the guy some slack.

[Primer] Kozilek, Butcher with Juice.
Why would WotC give so much hype to a character who shall never appear in the actual game? And how will the Eldrazi be defeated, without her?

I would interpret that sentence in the same way.

I´d say sorin wouldnt be disturbed by her silence if he knew she was dead.
seems to me shes gone missing and sorin is like, "nahiri, dafuq r u?"
