Ok, I'm putting this in Baseless Speculation because while it does have a basis, it's a really dodgy one.
In MaRo's 3rd podcast on Rise of the Eldrazi, he mentioned that turning into creatures is something that started on Gideon Jura and has been continued on "other Gideons", plural. Could be nothing, or he could be thinking about a future Gideon in Tarkir or Blood (both of which have finished design).

Go nuts, speculators.
It is probably blood ( that i belive is return to Zendikar).
Gideon is tied to Ravnica and Zendikar ... He was giving 100% dedication to Zendikar and when he did go to Ravnica he got messed up with other problems...
Also there are lots of walkers linked to Zendikar that are getting the Spotlight right now..
As a bonus Maro gave us 3 play test name for Blood block ( moe larry and curly ... don't it makes you wonder?)
That seems to be a somewhat recurring prediction about Blood being a return to Zendikar. If that's true, it will be a major Planeswalker reunion, if that "Checking in on the Planeswalkers" article was any indication. We'll not only get a new Gideon, but also a new Nissa, new Kiora, new Sorin, new Jace, and likely a new Chandra.

I also think Blood is a return to Zendikar (just because it's due, for a variety of reasons) and so I agree that that would be a logical place to put Gideon (maybe even requiring Gideon). Interestingly, if Gideon does show up in Tarkir block that would therefore be a strike against Blood being a return to Zendikar.

I feel new Jace and Chandra are both unlikely because neither of them is particularly invested in the goings on of Zendikar.
Kiora and Nissa want to protect their home.
Gideon wants to protect everyone.
Sorin is looking at the big picture.
The reasons Jace and Chandra were there, finding the origin of the Scroll of Ugin, have been resolved, and they never really got in on the "this plane needs me" heroics.
I think these names might be referring to Eldoozi Titans, not walkers
Or a vertical cycle. Or three cards with some kind of synergy. Or any three random cards that were designed at roughly the same time and given whimsical names. I would even go so far as to say that they can't be new versions of existing characters (walkers or otherwise) because those would just be called by their actual names.

I was just saying that of the likely possibilities, that was one of the more likely ones.
And regarding old characters, the titans may have changed since ROE. I think I remember reading somewhere that Ulamog and Kozilek were defeated at some point. (Although, according to the Nissa Worldwaker article, it appears Ulamog is back, so I could be wrong.)

And I'm saying it's one of the less likely ones for the reasons I already gave.

If that is the case, and I don't believe it is, then there won't be three new titans at all. They're either gone or they're still the same.
Gideon was suppose to be "Gathering Allies" do we have a good Idea of who he might have gathered in? Interestingly I feel
that most of the lorwyn 5 are to "rogue /independent" to join an alliance and it's more the likes of Koth, Kiora, Nissa and Sorin
that would actually work with other planeswalkers?
Chandra is unlikely to appears in Zendikar 2.0, more possible see her together with Bolas in another plane.
Jace will probably appear in Zendikar 2.0, the article shows him looking to that problem and makes sense with his investigations, but is possible that he turns himself to help Chandra against Bolas. But he is Jace so why not just make more of him -_-
Gideon looks like what KTK wants, a soldier walker that cares about numbers.
Koth will never appears in Zendikar, his fight is with another problem, he is to New Phyrexia the same that Nissa and/or Kiora are to Zendikar. He maybe appears in KTK like Kiora appears in Theros to become stronger (baseless speculation on the FNM promo)
So-
To KTK block I expect Ramaz and Sarkhan. Koth and Gideon are likely
To Zendikar Returns I expect - Gideon, Jace, Kiora, Nissa and Sorin. Maybe a block with more walkers, but dunno
I somehow find it tragic when an attacking Traveling Philosopher gets blocked by another Traveling Philosopher, which normally results in two dead philosophers. Shouldn't they just sit aside and start discussing?
"This is really exciting, so much to find out about, so much to look forward to, I'm quite dizzy with anticipation . . . Or is it the wind? There really is a lot of that now, isn't there? And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming toward me very fast? Very, very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide-sounding name like . . . ow . . . ound . . . round . . . ground! That's it! That's a good name- ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me? Hello Ground!"
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the Sprouting Phytohydra as it fell was Oh no, not again.

I don't think Gideon is a stooge
