Given how draft focused it is, do you guys think that Wizards will launch a CUBE related product to capitalize on that market?
I know they will do a bunch of smart things ONLINE but I would be shocked if they do not release a very sturdy 'collectors box' with sleeves, 'staples' that you need in a Conspiracy Cube and then some boosters.
What do you think? Will they get into the Cube market like they got into the EDH market?
This idea has been tossed around, but it seems less likely.
Cube is a format that runs pretty much every expensive card (bar some Legends/Antiquities/Arabian Nights/P3K peculiarities). Many of these are reserve listed, and many more command such a price tag that there's no reasonable way for them to print them. It'd be incredibly difficult to print an impactful cube given these restrictions, and anything they did release would likely feel very watered down.

I think this is definitely to help make cubes more interesting, but I doubt they will ever drop a 600 card Cubers Toolbox like product.
Amusingly I think the people that do MTGO looked at the artifact/Conspiracy cards from this set and screamed in terror until they were told they didn't have to code them.
Yeah, price and power wise, I could see them making it more of a 'flavor/novelty' product but with a lot of mid range power much like the COMMANDER decks which are 'worth' a bit more than their retail, but not nearly as crazy as some EDH decks people post online.
Conspiracy sold perfectly because it's not catered towards modern. Casuals are having a field day. Cube should be left alone to cube designers.
The process of looking for cards is what makes it extra satisfying.
Too true. Finally finding that foil version of [i]that missing card[i] is just bliss.
Also, I feel conspiracy was itself kind of directed at cube players with all of the draft specific cards and all.
