-A Red tutor with Chandra, Pyromaster's +0 template. 2-3 cmc and costing RR preferably. Limit searches to only Sorceries or instants if it's too powerful
I like mana-generating artifacts in a core set, but I'd much prefer the Ramos cycle to the Mirage Diamonds. But truly, what I want (dunno about it fitting into a core set, but still...) is a cycle of enemy-colored Talismans (like Talisman of Impulse, etc.) Failing a cycle, I'd just like to see a functional reprint (without the Snow type) of Coldsteel Heart. (No Snow type because really outside of another Ice Age block set it just doesn't have any place in other sets that they make).
Hmm... I had an idea here, but the more I think about it, the more ridiculously complicated it is and will probably never work haha.
OK, my idea goes something like this. Feel free to call me crazy for coming up with something like this haha:
Whenever a permanent becomes tapped, untap that permanent and put a stasis counter on it.
Permanents with stasis counters on them can't attack or block and their activated abilities can't be activated.
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player removes all stasis counters from permanents he or she controls.
So the idea is that doing things that normally requires tapping a permanent, such as tapping a land for mana, or attacking with your creature, etc. will still have the same basic result of it can't block or activate that ability which requires tapping again until after your untap phase (and summoning sickness still has its effect). What it does do, though, is hose a great many things. It prevents additional attack phases from allowing the same creature to attack multiple times in a single turn (such as Aurelia, the Warleader). It has a huge hose effect against Stasis (is this irony?) and Winter Orb. It stops a great many infinite combos dead in their tracks. It hoses Aetherling in a pretty major way, because once a permanent becomes tapped, you can't even activate its abilities that don't require tapping until after you get rid of the stasis counter! So unless you can give Aetherling vigilance, attacking with it opens him up to removal, which means you've negated one of the best features of the card, which is that it's very difficult to remove.
In some weird ways, it can be an enabler/support effect as well.
Chisei, Heart of Oceans is now much easier to keep around. Ferropede would be a good card to combine with this. Power Conduit would be a great help, and though it comes woefully close to being able to produce its own infinite combo, alas falling just short on its own... Aaah, but TWO of them CAN produce an infinite combo!
It can make it easier to get a one-off activation of the new Inspired mechanic, while simultaneously making it more difficult for players to abuse it. For instance, Paradise Mantle cannot be used to create infinite / arbitrary activations.
It would really slow down that Green Eldrazi deck that's been very popular in modern lately (Arbor Elf, Garruk Wildspeaker's first ability, and Early Harvest essentially lose all utility).
( they could be all stars in standard ( the U one could be played in BU discard decks . the R one could be a hate on ramp. The W one would be junk but it is ok( if we get a prevention effect it could be a wall). The G one could play against agro and maybe be a finisher for GU ramp. The B one would be crazy good maybe broken in the formart( also fear rules out it))
Form of the Dragon ( with the new art . i dont know if it would be played tought.
Go for the Throat ( yeah for push mono B and make it more of a Enchantment control deck.)
Auroch! i loved iceage/alliances/coldsnap and would love to see more reprints from those sets, but this will never happen. At least i can look forward to snow mana returning 2020?
Damnation would be the bees-knees. It won't happen while black has so many board wipes and kill cards already.
I would love to see Rampage come back. It would have to be called something else and be simplified, but I think it's feasible.
Going off topic for a second: Since Theros is all about the enchantments, I think stuff like Auramancer's Guise, Arcanum Wings, and the like would be awesome for the block.
-The one card in each colour that I would like to see return and think would be nifty:
White: Cantivore.
Blue: Thieving Magpie.
Black: Tormented Soul.
Red: Flame Slash.
Green: Skyshroud Ranger.
-Either Jace or Chandra out of the core set for this year. I really don't care who replaces them, it could be Tibalt for all I care. I just want some variation.
-The uncommon artifact cycle being either the ring cycle or something that has nothing to do with life gain.
-The returning mechanic, whatever it is, being mainly in green.
Moving on, I would really like to see legends. They are easy to understand and flavorful. As for Planeswalkers, someone asked MaRo today if they would ever put in completely new walkers in a core set, and he said not a chance, new guys and gals should see a slightly regular cast. That said, I see no reason to change it a bit each year. My thoughts on the walkers this year (forgeting all spec about Garruk shifting colors. I'm trying to be simple):
Gideon/Ajani
Tibalt*/Koth
Sorin/Lili
Garruk
Jace/Tamiyo* A 6th Walker?
Also, I like the idea of both the mana producing artifacts and of the cost reducing ones, either would work.
Duals would be very helpful. Possibles?
"Dual fetch lands"- like the Zendikar and Invasion fetches Dimir Aquaduct and company? Dragonskull Summit et al?
The Lorwyn blocks filters would work for me too.
All in all, I'm looking forward to getting M15 packs as birthday presents
*please note that just because these cards may have been disappointing with their first print that doesn't mean they can't get new forms (Tamiyo, Lunar Oracle and Tibalt, Devilspawn are names my buddies and I have made for new forms for them.
the Mythic swords, all 5, plus five more to protect from the other color pairs
Bolt
Birds of paradise
Crucible of worlds (my Tron says hi)
a new stupid big green stompy, like Worldspine or Craterhoof, a good elves target
Modern Staples that are too expensive and need a reprint
so basically, MM2
carry on being serious

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
-Cycling: primary in Blue and Black, secondary in Red, and sparsely in White and Green.
-A new Decree cycle. Maybe reprint Decree of Pain for black.
-Planeswalkers: Reprint Chandra, Pyromaster, Garruk, Caller of Beasts, and Ajani, Caller of the Pride. Add in a new Jace and Liliana.
-A Red tutor with Chandra, Pyromaster's +0 template. 2-3 cmc and costing RR preferably. Limit searches to only Sorceries or instants if it's too powerful
-An Oblivion Ring functional reprint with the Banisher Priest template.
-Rampant Growth reprint. Or any 2 cmc ramp spell that's not a creature and not Farseek.
-A black 1-2 drop that's easy to reanimate or reclaim.
-2 cmc Sleight of Hand instant. Or just a Sleight of Hand reprint.
-Miscellaneous Modern/Legacy staple reprint not included in recent sets. Crucible of Worlds, maybe? I dunno.
-New enemy-hoser cycle. Some may be reprinted, but no Celestial Purge.
Yavimaya Elder
Silverglade Elemental
Utopia Tree
To name a few...green needs some love lol
Ramp green fetchers up

It makes cards like Royal Assassin, Tawnos's Coffin, Willow Satyr, Old Man of the Sea and Vedalken Shackles become essentially worthless, while cards like Grim Monolith and Mana Vault / Mana Crypt become far better, as well as most anything else that doesn't untap normally during the untap step. (It still doesn't really break Time Vault anymore than it could already be broken, which is probably for the best).

Ajani Goldmane( I would like to see the big cat again)
Shattered Angel ( sonds nice. Maybe they could reprint old cards with artwork flavoured with New Phyrexia)
Blind Zealot ( pushing mono B again kkkk)
And maybe reprint Liliana of the Veil to cut that price tag. It's kind of annoying that cards even get that expensive.
I know. Both of those things are in the "Fat chance!" category for M15.
Just give me Acidic Slime and Llanowar Elves.
