No nostalgia (They disappoint fans and don't draw new players; ie. slivers, future sight set)
Reprint walkers that have been around for just one cycle (Garruk, Caller of Beasts; Chandra Pyrmoaster)
Reprint Birds of Paradise (no reason for this all star to go missing in RtR block)
Reprint Day of Judgment (oh you guys know you want to and with Supreme Verdict heading out, no reason for it not to come back)
Create a cycle unique to the set (I hated the titans, but they did have that pazazz that people love)
I liked what they did with Rare cycle of Legendary Faces for the colours, would like to see more of this, but at mythic, I think the Titan Cycle should be replaced by a mythic Legends cycle. Kinda stops these cards being too powerful and format warping as well.
I didn't mind the Cycle of Angel, Demon, Hydra, Sphinx and Dragon, But I'm not sure they can do a variant in each every year some of them are just more limited in design space. I'd Almost prefer to see a Cycle of Dragons, Cycle of Angels etc ala the Titans as it's more interesting to see the variations rather then yet another Red Dragon, White Angel etc.
Reprints of fetchlands. For the record, I have playsets of 4 out of 5, I just never got to play them in Standard, and would like to.
Stoneforge Mystic would be fun to play in Standard if there were any equipment worth fetching up. And I don't even mean things on the same tier as the swords, I just mean something kinda fun or interesting.
Reprints of the filterlands would be sweet.
Sure, fetchlands in Standard at the same time as Shocks and Deathrite Shaman. What could possibly go wrong?

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
Lightning Bolt, Mana Leak : Snapcaster is gone. Just do it. Condemn or Oust : at least one 1 mana removal in white please Birds of Paradise : How I miss thee. Probably one of the most balanced and iconic standard card. Garruk Wildspeaker : Good old Garruk, one that could be played in decks that weren't heavily green. Jace Beleren : my favorite Jace Sword of the Paruns : seems fun with inspired. Time Warp : I didn't play the last time it was standard legal, is this card too good?
Seconded. We need better removal than Last Breath for Gods' sake.

The main problem with extra turn effects is that Wizards can't decide where to cost them for Standard. Costed too high, and they're worthless. Costed too low, and they're broken. 5 Mana is about as low as they'll go in Standard/Modern, but it's not terribly exciting.
Honestly, I think cards like Temporal Mastery and Medomai the Ageless are the best/fairest designs they've managed to come up with for this kind of effect, and I don't particularly like either of them.

I'm officially proposing we retire the word "insane" from the MtG vocabulary.

Stuff they could potentially realistically reprint in a core set that I want:
Remand
Aven Mindcensor
Inquisition of Kozilek (but not right now since thoughtseize is in the format already)
Cryptic Command
Cursecatcher
Lightning Bolt
Tectonic Edge
Serum Visions
Mana Leak
They just did Exalted and Noble wasn't reprinted, so it won't happen in M15.
I do think we will see Birds of Paradise and some new lands. Unfortunately, I don't think fetches will be it, more like a Nimbus Maze cycle like some people brought up.
Argothian Enchantress version 2 with Hexproof over Shroud.
Mesa Enchantress

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
All sorts of things!
And since they're changing the border, I no longer care anyway.
Filterlands would be fine.

Off the top of my head, it was the first card I could think of that represents a hat.

Blue: New PW card or Tamiyo reprint (preferably new card, though).
Black: A constructed-playable Mythic bomb that requires 0 "build around me" BS.
Red: Beacon of Destruction reprinted at Uncommon. Lava Axe need not apply.
Green: Seedtime reprint. (I'm ambitious.)
Colorless: 10 Lad cycle of some kind, preferably not pain lands.

I highly doubt this will happen, considering WotC's past history with effects like this.
It's still more likely than a 5-color Sliver Legend.
Besides, I guarantee he was joking.
