Now that Magic 2015 has been officially announced, but only several cards from it have been previewed, I believe that it is a good time to state what wishes we players have for this set, such as reprints, themes, or other elements.
For example, my wish list for Magic 2015 is as follows:
-Legendary permanents and/or multicolored cards, since it was great to have such cards in Magic 2013, but they were sorely missed from Magic 2014.
-A cycle of mana-generating artifacts, most preferably the Mirage diamonds or the Ramos cycle, since it has been a long time since a core set contained such a cycle.
-A cycle of ten dual lands, most preferably reprints of the Shadowmoor/Eventide filter lands or a cycle based off nimbus maze.
-New planeswalkers to replace some or all of the original Lorwyn five, since I am growing weary of them being in every core set since their introduction.
I may have more to add to my wish list, later, but those are my most highly-desired wishes for this next core set. What wishes does everyone else here have for this core set?
I also want reprints of the Shadowmoor/Eventide filter lands. I would LOVE a reprint of Nature's Lore. That card is exactly what mono green Goblin Charbelcher needs.
I would love some nonbasic hate so a reprint Back To Basics, Price of Progress or Primal Order to encourage players with 3-4 colored decks to move away from their greedy consistent mana bases.
I know it won't happen, but new full art lands would be good. Players obviously want them.

Kicker, cycling, and/or entwine are all mechanics that I would like to see in the next core set, since they are all very easy to understand and can be very powerful and/or useful.

Unfortunately, Kicker and Cycling will never make it into a core set, as they are completely devoid of flavor. Core sets use only the most flavorful and resonant of keywords, as those are the keywords that newcomers grok the easiest and quickest.

Why do you say that? How are exalted and bloodthirst, for example, more flavorful than kicker or cycling? And since core sets are not directly related to a single plane or part of the story line, I see no reason to not include such easy-to-use and "plane-neutral" mechanics such as those that I mentioned above.

Any actual proof of this? Besides, kicker is flavorful. You take a spell and add more power to it.
I must saw we are REALLY over due for a Bribery reprint. I don't think it would be overpowered in Standard right now, and casual EDH players don't want to spend 15 dollars for a single copy.
Reprints of fetchlands. For the record, I have playsets of 4 out of 5, I just never got to play them in Standard, and would like to.
Stoneforge Mystic would be fun to play in Standard if there were any equipment worth fetching up. And I don't even mean things on the same tier as the swords, I just mean something kinda fun or interesting.
Reprints of the filterlands would be sweet.

Collecting Maw of the Mire! Feel free to send me any you have, so long as they're in reasonable condition.
It'd be cool to see more YMTC cards in the set: Forgotten Ancient and Crucible of Worlds, namely. Babycakes is a fun casual card and I desperately want a Crucible reprint since I don't own it and my Karn deck needs it.
Fetchlands are a big want for me. Preferably all 10. If not them, than either all 10 checks or a new land cycle, again with all 10. I'd be thrilled to see duals not at rare but I know it won't happen...still, the Refuges or Pains at uncommon would be sweeeet.

My expectation is that they're going to be doing ten-land cycles of duals, 5 in a core set and 5 in the accompanying large fall set (or vice versa?). It encourages people to buy more product, frees up rare slots in both sets, dilutes the mana in Limited, and ends up with almost the same net result.

Any of the above cards would be nice to have in Modern.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.

Don't forget Elvish Spirit Guide. That deck would love that card.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
True, but ESG is wishful thinking, I don't see Wizards actually reprinting that
That card has always bothered me because in the art it looks like the card should have flying but it doesn't.

It could be worse with the art. It could be Whippoorwill.

I half expect to see the onslaught fetches, though they may wait one more year.
I'd like to see Cycling featured.

Edit: Also, if we get cycling back, can we please have Astral Slide, Sparkstorm, Lightning Rift, Spark Spray, Akroma's Vengeance, Eternal Dragon, and Slice and Dice reprints?

I'd like to see some cards that would be interesting for standard devotion decks, especially the weaker colors: Dawn Elemental, Leatherback Baloth, Ball Lightning.

No nostalgia (They disappoint fans and don't draw new players; ie. slivers, future sight set)
Reprint walkers that have been around for just one cycle (Garruk, Caller of Beasts; Chandra Pyrmoaster)
Reprint Birds of Paradise (no reason for this all star to go missing in RtR block)
Reprint Day of Judgment (oh you guys know you want to and with Supreme Verdict heading out, no reason for it not to come back)
Create a cycle unique to the set (I hated the titans, but they did have that pazazz that people love)
