Someone mentioned reprinting the Shadowmoor dual lands, and I am surprised that I almost forgot they existed. They really should! The lands don't really specify any plane that they're attached to, and they could easily come back with new artworks, or even the same arts!
Honestly, I think we will get an uncommon cycle of duals, if anything. I think we could get the Zendikar uncommon dual cycle with new lands, and then five enemy duals to finish the cycle seeing as how wizards wants to start giving all ten dual colors an equal balance of land printings. The other option is they just give us the shards tri lands again, and then reprint something like reflecting pool.
If they do shard tri lands, they could finish the cycle by doing wedge tri lands.
That would be really cool. I know a lot of players would love that, and they would cover a lot of ground in a Core set. Five Color decks could be possible, dual colored decks, and tri colored decks as well.
I think if they want to keep up the Multicolored decks going strong with the Shock Lands and Gates leaving to reprint the Check Lands to go with the Temples. Especially since the Theros Block had and Im assuming the next block will have a bunch of Multicolored cards.
If I have not already said it, I do hope that the cards that seem to have been reprinted in nearly every recent core set (naturalize, pacifism,Serra angel, Shivan dragon, and several others) have new artwork and flavor text, since those cards have had the same artwork and flavor text for the past several core sets.
People are way too optimistic about them reprinting valuable, useful things in a Core set. We'll get the same bland, overpriced garbage that has next to no impact on the game.
Why do you say that? What reason do you have to believe such a thing?

More creatures with off-colour activiatons that can be hole-fillers or role-players in limited depending on what colours you are in (e.g.Agent of Horizons)
And: Pacifism with same art and flavourtext. Giant Spider with both M2013 and M2015 expansion symbols.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Well, convoke got me pretty excited, it's actually one of my favourite mechanics! I love things that grant extra use for small token creatures. Hopefully this will help the creation of a white-based control deck.
What I want now is Devouring Light (this would be pretty darn good with Brimaz and Elspeth,) and a gigantic and powerful mythic angel that costs something like 10 or 12 mana, but with convoke, and that you can get with the new polymorpher! With those and Raise the Alarm, I'd be set for a very sweet Ephara token control deck!
I said before that I hope that WotC does not print another cycle of "lucky charms" in this core set (i.e., wurm's tooth, staff of the sun magus, etc.), but, if they must, those cards should have an additional ability beyond lifegain, to give them greater utility. In my mind, paradise plume would be an excellent card for serving such a purpose (hopefully with new artwork).

I'd both M15 and Takir to each have a set of dual lands that could see some degree of Modern useage, if only on a budget:
Full set of 10 fetchlands (both Zendikar and Onslaught) Arid Mesa: drive down price and add the rest to Modern
or
Full set of tap trilands (Alara's and a new set for wedge versions) Seaside Citadel: Add to the game the wedge versions
or
Full set of fastlands (Scars and a new set for enemy color) Seachrome Coast: Add to the game enemy color versions
or
Full set of painlands (all 10) Adarkar Wastes: Just to have more dual-land options in Standard when RtR rotates, I could see these being lowered to uncommon rarity, as they aren't that good, I could even see this as a 3rd set if at uncommon rarity and still have two of the others each in M15 and Takir
or
Full set of checklands (both Innistrad and old cores) Clifftop Retreat: Just to have more dual-land options in Standard when RTR rotates
or
Full set of filterlands (full set of 10) Cascade Bluffs: Drive down the price on some of the more expensive ones
or
Full set of dual man-lands (Both Zendikar and new enemy color ones) Celestial Colonnade: Full set added to the game and drive down the prices some, also I prefer multiple man-lands in Standard or 0 man lands in standard, to 1 man land in Standard, which does weird things to the format like Mutavault being in most competitive decks
Avalon Aurora: that is a massive list of cards that you seek for this core set, and I must say that it is unlikely that they shall all be reprinted. However, I definitely agree with you that a cycle of dual lands in this core set would be very nice, since Magic 2014 did not have such a cycle. I would prefer reprints of shocklands or the Shadowmoor filter lands, but any cycle of rare dual lands that have the option of entering the battlefield untapped would be excellent (for example, the Innistrad checklands have been printed only once each, so they are due for a reprint, in my mind).

Some powerful commons for Pauper, mainly some sort of equipment cycle for 1 and then equip for 2 - 3 that gives +1/+1 and an ability related to a color that only triggers if the equipped creature is from that color as well (like a sword that gives +1/+1 and then protection from black or lifelink if the equipped creature is white). Some sort of white wrath for pauper, even along the lines of -2/-2 to nonwhite creatures a la Holy Light. Common lands like Terramorphic Expanse that fetch the basic land untapped but have some kind of drawback like you paying life, sacrificing another land, etc.
Liliana of the Veil and a black Day of Judgment (since "can't be regenerated clause" isn't used anymore). Good common / uncommon removal, not like the premium removal we're having. Good (un)common creatures. Some sort of "if you discard this put onto the battlefield instead" a la Loxodon Smiter. Leyline cycle
What about a set of nonbasic lands that encourage monocolor decks? Perhaps something that reads "choose a basic land type when ~ enters play. Destroy all other lands you control that are not of that type. t: add one appropriate mana for each land of the basic type you control."
Horrid templating, but this land allows some minor shenanigans with shocklands/ABU duals and like to come out early, but work as pseudo-mana storage lands. If necessary, make it legendary.
Other cards to encourage devotion would be a cycle of playable permanents that cost CC at common, CCC at uncommon, and CCCC at rare. Maybe a CCCCC at mythic just to polarize the vocal playerbase. By playable, I mean both in draft AND constructed.
Basically, I enjoy monocolor play.
As for reprints, Provoke just popped up in Conspiracy, but is simple enough for a core set, as is Innocent Blood.
Cheers!

Check my Pauper Cube!
A return of Leylines would be nice, new or old.
Go For the Throat would be nice as well.
Augury Owl, Crystal Ball, Condescend, Cryptic Annelid, Eyes of the Watcher, Ferocious Charge, Foresee, Fill with Fright, Llanowar Empath, Lose Hope, Mystic Speculation, Serum Visions, Stand Firm, Tel-Jilad Justice, and Viscera Seer.
Especially Serum Visions, which needs a reprint to drive it's price down in Modern.
Maybe some older stuff that is still maybe balanced to enter Modern?
Death Ward, Æther Flash, Blood Pet, Charcoal Diamond, Elvish Archers, Fire Diamond, Force Spike, Gang of Elk, Goblin War Drums, Granite Grip, Grapeshot Catapult, Greed, Impatience, Infernal Contract, Jalum Tome, Jandor's Saddlebags, Knighthood, Longbow Archer, Marble Diamond, Meekstone, Mawcor, Memory Lapse, Moss Diamond, Nature's Resurgence, Nature's Revolt, Opposition, Pit Trap, Pride of Lions, Purify, Pygmy Pyrosaur, Reckless Embermage, Reprocess, Rowen, Scavenger Folk, Seeker of Skybreak, Serra Advocate, Shanodin Dryads, Shield Wall, Sisay's Ring, Sky Diamond, Skyshroud Falcon, Soul Net, Squall, Storm Cauldron, Storm Shaman, Sustainer of the Realm, Telepathic Spies, Tolarian Winds, Treefolk Seedlings, Uktabi Wildcats, Untamed Wilds, Vigilant Drake, Wall of Wonder, and Wild Growth.

Wall of Spears, Wall of Blossoms, Wall of Vines, Wall of Stone, Steel Wall, Reinforced Bulwark, Battle Rampart, Æther Membrane, Fog Bank, Psychic Membrane, Vine Trellis, Wall of Air, Wall of Reverence, and Wall of Omens.

I'd love to have some new cat lord type cards. I'm sure it would go well with Theros' leonin as well.
Some anti-removal stuff to encourage large armies implied that we'll be getting in Tarkir:
Asceticism, Wrap in Vigor, Restoration Angel, Cloudshift, Ghostway, Break of Day, Withstand Death, Sheltering Word, Ranger's Guile, Tortoise Formation, Stonewood Invocation, Heal the Scars, Mending Touch, Regenerate, Blessing of Leeches, Molting Skin, Horror of Horrors, Regeneration, Savage Silhouette, Serpent Skin, Skeletal Grimace, Strands of Undeath, Trollhide, Flickerform, Alpha Authority, Greater Auramancy, Aspect of Mongoose, Protective Bubble, Robe of Mirrors, Indestructibility, Darksteel Plate, Mask of Avacyn, Swiftfoot Boots, Glaring Spotlight, General's Kabuto, Lightning Greaves, Whispersilk Cloak, Herbal Poultice, and Voyager Staff.
