twilight mire and friends. but i already know wizard will give us vivid lands instead...
How do you know that? WotC printed the "vivid" lands in the first Commander set, so I doubt that they shall print those lands, again in this set; I believe that this upcoming set would be a great place to reprint the Shadowmoor/Eventide filter lands, so there is no reason to be doubtful about them, in my mind.

Because they put so many rare dual lands in the last version? Not to mention it's not easy to divide up dual lands in tri color decks. Why does the Naya deck not get the R/W land for instance. And they're not gonna ways 3 spots on rare lands in every deck. That's very boring.
Just because you want something doesn't mean it isn't doubtful. In fact, it is extremely doubtful that this set will bring you filter lands.
I believe that overabundance, trace of abundance, and tamanoa may be excellent cards for this set, as well, since it shall be shard-colored; does anyone else agree with that?

I agree with that, for I do not understand why WOtC has reprinted shimmering grotto so often recently when, from my experience, reflecting pool is the better card in ninety-percent or more of situations.

How can you say they don't care about the secondary market after they just printed MM which decreased the process of many cards. They're not going to give us everything at once because then it limits what they can print in the future.
That said, we're not getting filters here. Wrong product for them.

WotC has stated multiple times that they don't take the secondary market into account when deciding whether or not a card becomes reprinted or not. They only care if the card fits in the set, isn't on the reserved list, isn't broken/banned, and isn't overly complex.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
If I did not say so before, I believe that crypt angel would be excellent for the Grixis deck, because it has not yet been printed in the new card frame, and even if it is outclassed by more recent angels, its effect is still nice. Stoic angel would obviously be excellent for the Bant deck, and I also believe that all of the lieges from Shadowmoor and Eventide (balefire liege, deathbringer liege, and so forth) would be excellent for these decks, if I have not already said that, as well.
Since three of the five cards from the incarnation cycle of Judgment (anger, brawn, and wonder) were reprinted in the first Commander set, I hope that the final two are printed in this set (or at least valor, since filth is far more limited in its usefulness). On that subject, why was valor not included in that set with the other incarnations? It seems odd to me to have left that one out of the set.

Why not just reprint Delver? The phyrexian version.
Now that I think of it, I hope they reprint de Medallion cycle from Tempest. In fact, I'm pretty sure they will.
The medallions are excellent artifacts, but they have no function on their own, so I would prefer that WotC forgo printing them and instead reprint mana-associated artifacts that have their own inherent functions, such as mana batteries from the early sets.
On that subject, with the decks of this set being shard-colored, I imagine that the obelisk cycle from Shards of Alara may possibly appear in this set, although darksteel ingot, which was reprinted in the first Commander set, is completely superior to those cards, thus making a reprint of them unlikely. It would also be nice to have chromatic lantern in this set, but that card may be either too powerful or too recent for WotC to include it in the decks of this set.

You are aware that the reason the Mana Batteries haven't been printed for a very long time is because they are inherently bad.
The obelisks on the other hand, are down right likely to get reprinted in this years commander product. Far more likely than Darksteel Ingot, which is currently in standard.
As for other mana artifacts, I would not be the least bit surprised to see Sol Ring get another reprint, it is pretty much a staple of Commander decks as is, and since it is "only" uncommon, they can reprint it with impunity in special products.
I would also not be surprised to see a 2 mana artifact that taps for the colors of your commander. I.e. Tap: Add one mana of any color in your commanders color identity to your mana pool.
It is also likely we will get the signets and the Karoo's again.

First, what is wrong with the mana batteries, and have newer cards been printed that are superior to them?
Second, I agree that it would be great to have sol ring and command tower again, since they are major staples of this format and printing them again would keep their supply high and prices low.
Third, the "bounce lands" from Ravnica were reprinted in the first Commander set, and numerous other sets apart from that, so I would prefer that they not be reprinted again in favor of another cycle of lands, such as the filter lands from Shadowmoor and Eventide, which are very useful but also currently very expensive, meaning that reprints of them would help to increase their supply and decrease their prices.
I'd really like to see these cards reprinted, because they're getting expensive, hard to find, or are used in practically every EDH deck that can play them:

6 mana to get even one back, and then 2 mana per additional one to store is pretty bad. Fungal Reaches and the rest of that cycle are the most recent good way to store mana, along with Coalition Relic. I guess Kyren Toy just because I like that card.
Blood Tyrant and Garza Zol, Plague Queen would be nice for the red/black/blue deck, but since that deck already has a three-colored vampire in Jelava, it may not include them.

Blood Tyrant sounds like a good include but at some point they have to realize that the artwork on Garza Zol is actually a reason why people don't play her. New art on here would be sweet!

What is wrong with her artwork? Is it that she is not terribly attractive? I am a heterosexual male, so I enjoy seeing attractive women in the artwork of the cards of this game, but function is more important than is form in this game, so I believe that disliking a fairly awesome card simply for its artwork is completely unfair and irrational.

What about vindicate, if I did not mention it earlier? That card is clearly far too powerful to ever be reprinted in a set that legal in standard or modern, but I believe that a set with a limited print run, such as this set, would be an ideal place for it. Or is it too powerful for even this format, with its low cost for an incredible effect?

Each is rare, and each is available in Commander/Planechase/Archenemy. Heck, one of them is (so far) only available in this kind of auxiliary product.
