I've been thinking about cards I love that have essentially just faded into the masses of new magic cards over the years. There are a lot of cards like this, and I am sure that y'all have some cards in mind.
For example, one of my favorite cards that I designed one of my first decks around was Hellkite Overlord. I played a very Timmy deck during that time, but now that I play a lot of EDH, I think this card is still useful. I would love to see it reprinted, however it appears that it has just faded away.
What cards do you love that have never/rarely been reprinted?
Rings of Brighthearth. It finally got reprinted in Commander Legends, but it really should have gotten one sooner. How did they go through 7 Masters sets in the intervening time, including one that is specifically themed around artifacts and doubling things, without it showing up? And it's practically the only effect of its kind, too; before Lithoform Engine was printed, it was the only card that could copy any activated ability.
Doubling Season. Yes, it's gotten 3 reprints, but it's still over $70, so clearly it needs more reprints.
Gilder Bairn. It was in the Mystery Boosters, and that's it. Why hasn't this been reprinted in any meaningful capacity? Surely it could have been in several of the Commander decks, among other things?
The Sword of X and Y cycle. Same situation as with Doubling Season. I still don't own any of them, even the cheaper (but still in the double-digit dollar amounts) ones.
Kalonian Hydra. Two full-on reprints plus The List, and it's still $15+. I blame Commander.
Asceticism. Like Gilder Bairn, all that it's ever been in besides the original set is a Mystery Booster, which barely counts. Again, why the heck wasn't this ever in a Commander deck or Masters set or something?
Heroic Intervention is a borderline case. There are definitely more expensive and more sparsely reprinted cards out there, but this is one that I feel like could be just about annual. Put it in every Commander set, some of the core sets, maybe a couple of the main non-core sets.
Isochron Scepter I could always use more copies of. It was in Eternal Masters and then Double Masters (with the uglier art), but I wish it would be more accessible.
Training Grounds. Never been reprinted (except in The List, which doesn't count) and over $30 now. (Thank goodness I picked up a playset or two when they were about 20% of that.) At least Zirda exists now, does the same thing, and is actually affordable (albeit legendary and more fragile).
Scalelord Reckoner. I got about 6 of them when they were in the $1-$2 range, and thank goodness for that, because they're now pushing $9. I like effects that punish opponents for killing my things, and I like dragons. And this card has never been reprinted.
Thrun, the Last Troll. Sure, he's a lot cheaper than he was before the Mystery Booster printing, but it would be nice to get him with updated rules text and frame.
Khalni Hydra. Pretty much only playable in monocolor, but very useful for that purpose, especially if there's any devotion to green floating around, and it's never been reprinted outside of The List.
Primordial Hydra, for that matter, which was in 2 core sets and is about $20. It would have been a fine choice for the Quandrix Commander deck, too.
The Ur-Dragon, Balefire Dragon, and Dragonlord Dromoka. I'm putting these together because they're among the most expensive dragons, all cool (if not always practical), and all low on reprints (only Balefire Dragon has gotten one at all, and only in a high-cost, limited-print-run set). You know, I actually like Commander as a format, even if I don't like it as much as regular casual 60-card, but I feel like Commander players have ruined the prices of so many cards, it's not even funny.
Archangel of Thune. I could pick pretty much any of the >$10 angels (why the BLEEP is Avacyn 35 bucks?! Commander...!), but I really like the design of this one, and I was lucky to even get one copy. I could say the same about Sigarda (5/5 flier for 5 with hexproof? Sign me up.), but at least I managed to get some of her cards before they spiked again.
Bramble Sovereign. Cool card (even if it depicts one of the uglier forms of dryad), but hard to come by. From the same set, Arena Rector. Planeswalker synergy effects are always nice, especially if they cheat one out for you.
Dramatic Entrance. I'm actually surprised that this card isn't a lot more expensive than it is, given how long ago its only printing was.
Pretty much all of the expensive planeswalkers. Tamiyo, the Moon Sage would be cool, especially since her art is neat and she's one of my favorite characters. All of Elspeth's cards are always welcome, especially Knight-Errant.

LOL! I completely agree. Mostly, I don't like Pringles. But also, what's so special about foil if it only comes in foil? I'd much prefer non-foils because the other 98-99 cards in my deck are non-foil.
Oh, how did I forget Carnage Tyrant and Sylvan Caryatid? Talk about things that could go in almost any green deck but are too low in supply to put in more than one or two.
(No the recent revealed judge promo doesn't count you need to be a judge which I am planning to do eventually and it takes a kidney to get those as singles)
Preferably as Paper Magic reprints in supplementary products (Masters sets, Modern Horizons, Commander Pre-Cons) that are not on Magic Arena and are not as Secret Lair Drops (In-Person Local Game Store Promos like Fabled Passage and Bolas's Citadel are fine):

I want to see Warrior's Oath and Ravages of War reprinted in the Commander Legends: Battle For Baldur's Gate set.
One of the big complaints about the first commander legends set that MaRo listed is that the games go on for too long. I would never expect MLD to appear in the set after getting that feedback.
I’d say that there is a minor chance of seeing it as a mythic in double masters or something similar.
Outside of spells that share flavours and names with D&D spells, and setting neutral stuff like Dockside Extortist, and maybe the Scry lands, I don't think there will be as many reprints in this Commander Legends: Battle For Baldur's Gate as people think there will be, it's not set in the MtG multiverse, unlike Commander Legends 1, and I think the bulk of reprints will be in Jumpstart 2022 and Double Masters 2022 and Commander Precon Decks, with CL: BfBG a distant fourth for reprints, it will be more then most other 2022 sets still, but less then CL 1, and possibly even more Legendary Creatures and Commander Planeswalkers. maybe 30 to 100 reprints, not including tie in Commander Deck reprints or AFR Legendary Creature reprints that get the Etched Foil treatment.

I am actually really interested in seeing what this commander legends does with the foil etched selection.
Replacing the 15 two-color partners would be a challenge. Reprinting them for a second time would also be awkward unless they use partner as a central mechanic for its legends once again (which may increase the number of partners to 90+ and the number of combinations to nearly 9,000, a bit hard for power level to be controlled).
Add to that the challenge that most of the more iconic 2-3 color commanders of note were covered in the previous set and that the mechanic-specific (Anje, Sevinne, etc.) and Tribal-Specific (Ur-Dragon, Arahbo, etc.) cycles will need to be skipped and there is a bit of a challenge.
I predict a mixture of a few Theros gods (such as ahtreos and keranos), one or two members of the multicolor planeswalker commander cycle (though Aminatou is confirmed for the Double Masters product later in the year so probably not her), the 4-color commander cycle [though I fear that the original non-black group hug commander being switched out with Omnath to avoid offending some other nations], and a bunch of newer legends like Volomachus Lorehold, Koma, King Kenrith, and Golos (plus a couple of stragglers from the "good old times" like Ghave or Oloro).

YES PLEASE!! City of Brass reprinted into Pioneer, it's 99% the same as a Mana Confluence and can be found for way cheaper prices, plus it's such an iconic card anyway.
City of Brass is very near the same price as Mana Confluence is right now. Yes 100% it needs a reprint and I would love to see it in Pioneer.
