From what I understand, Eldrazi will show up, but in very, very small quantities, and the focus will be on the Zendikar environment of old. It hasn't been confirmed, but Rosewater expressed that that was the ideal vision for the plane in a blogatog post.
Adventures are probably returning and so are manlands. Landfall has to be coming back. Levelling I'm a lot less confident about.
I personally think a major mechanical theme of this set is Zendikar itself rising up in some fashion so that makes me expect tons of lands matter and manland-based combat going on. Fortifications? Who knows..
Level up won't return. It mostly failed as a mechanic, as most players have mixed feelings about it or don't like it, many loathe the frame, has a lot of board complexity and doesn't mesh well with +1/+1 counters. Personally I love the mechanic, but I'm not the majority of players.
Landfall is simply not going to be left out. There's no chance. It's the core of Zendikar lands matters design and beloved by most people. And for good reason. It mitigates one of the most frustrating parts of the game, drawing lands in top deck mode, as well as making lands, the card type with the least fans, exciting to everyone.
This is why landfall is so great; assuming you have the necessary lands in play to be able to play your cards in general, this marks the the difference between landfall and no landfall:
Having no landfall permanent in play: Drawing nonlands is exciting, drawing lands is boring.
Having a landfall permanent in play: Drawing anything is exciting.
Now, a good player appreciates lands in a different way than above, but think of Kitchen Table Toby. Landfall increases the amount of exciting draws without undercutting the game's foundation of randomized card draw. It's just great.
And omnath will get the 4th or all 5 colors as well and when that happens will he be better or worse than horde of notions for elemental tribal since he’s pretty much elemental/landfall focused
Oh by the way heard 0% eldrazi’s in this one but I’m still speculating emrakul or some new titans from the eldrazis protential true home plane comes someday (eldrazis ben alive longer than any other creature that’s ever existed in magic according to ugin)
Unfortunately (or fortunately since many have a love/hate relationship with them) I think fetchlands will not be reprinted here, no way are they going to let the fetchland + fetch-able duals happen in standard again, even if by the time Zendikar is out it’ll only be a few months before the Ravnica shock lands rotate. However I could see them finishing a cycle or two, like enemy tango lands or perhaps reprinting Horizon Canopy with a printing of all the other non-enemy paired horizon lands. Another option since it is a landfall set is printing a river of tears cycle.
I’d like to see this Zendikar set to be multicolored focus, since it’s almost certain that Return to theros will be a mono-colored focused set because of the devotion mechanic and that means with Eldrain there will be two mono-colored sets in a row. So a multicolor set seem like the best way to shake things up after Theros. Perhaps the most recent Omnath is a hint that it will even be an enemy wedge set with wedge printings of the panorama lands like Bant panorama to facilitate landfall? (Though truth be told, I think this is just me getting my hopes up for proper an enemy wedge set since I loved Khans limited).

I was fine with return to Zendikar. But they really need to stop these repeat sets. I'm probably going to like it but ugh..... Sure, Ravnica 4 coming soon!
I love return sets. I hope this one has the enemy cycle of the BFZ tango lands. I really want a simic ocean themed one.
Terminator themed Return to Innistrad. Futuristic Horror! Alien too. Future of Innistrad. 10,000 years after Eldritch Moon. Now the story is they have the technology to travel to the moon. And Emrakul cultists are planning to travel there to break out Emrakul.

Total Recall + Terminator + Eldrazi would be awesome. They'd just be going to the moon instead of Mars, but I can't wait to get the Arnold planeswalker. Nyyyrrraaaaghh!!
If the enemy fetchs are reprints (which they aren’t) if that happens they will probably ban those on the spot for pioneer (emergency ban) so don’t get your hopes up
My guess is that Eldrazi will be a smaller theme this time. More like one or two limited arch-types, rather then half the set. Lands as overarching theme and allies should make a return. I hope quests make a return as well. Quests are free in terms of space in the set: they can always make quests supporting the other themes and have just a single "quest-matters" card in the set.
There is relatively small space for innovation. With D&D coming back, they should capitalize on the adventure theme. So I hope they finally do dungeons in MTG.
I'd like to think Landfall will return. The quest-likeenchantments in the original Zendikar used Landfall as part of their build-up effect so it would seem silly not to bring that back. Or if not, at least some activity which demonstrates the adventure-ish feel the original setting brought us pre-Eldrazi.

Agreed. I think landfall is pretty much a given. Quests might also return given the potential synergy with Theros enchantment theme.
If i had to guess i would say untap symbol, landfall (duh), Domain, subtheme of Quests, Elementals, Eldrazified creatures (demons, beasts, etc).
If i had to guess specific cards for the set, a land with ETB tapped. Doesnt untapp at untap phase. q: Add C. You can only use this ability once per turn. ; Ommath 4c on main set and a 5c in the commander decks ; 2 color Nissa ; A new Yarok and other legendary elementals.
Are they going to reprint manlands? Are they going to complete that incomplete cycle of duals?
Devoid and eldrazi are out of question.
