MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Interesting concept, but planeswalkers at common, even if it's with a miniscule ability, won't be a thing. The most common you'd get would be uncommon. And even that is a push.

I think if common walkers were suppose to exist they would be done in WAR which will be the most walker centered set we will ever get for the foreseeable future.
No for Common... I could see a Planeswalker who's primary characteristic is that he made a bunch of clones of himself show up as a non-legendary (or as a legendary that ignores the legend rule, but I could see a walker having space issues in the text box sufficient to push them to non-legendary).
I had a character in one of the D&D campaigns that I ran that was a wizard who made Simulacrum and had them go out on missions, he was epic level so his Simulacrum were often capable of making Simulacrum of their own...
But I agree, no generic Planeswalkers...

(U/B) is :symbu: or :symub: and the same is true for the other 9 hybrid symbols with their two colors in for the last 2 leters of the code. ((2/B) and co are :sym2b:)
Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags

Ahhh, yes, lol. I remember asking the community if they thought this would be possible, PW's @ uncommon. I was laughed out of the water. Guess I had the last laugh there, heh... Gotta get back to the BBQ, have some BBQ crow for other members to munch on.
Point is, nothing is out of reach. One day something will come about, for a reason, flavor-wise, will come around that might justify mini-PW's at common.
Imagine something like Boba Fett, a "legend" in his world. What if he was a PW in Magic's world? And what if he was cloned? An army of PW's that all do the same and fight for a common goal. This is just a brainstorm, something off the top of my head. The example might be a bad one, but we've seen jankier junk come about.
