While "Maybe :)" doesn't confirm anything, I do believe we'll see the said cycle of Swords.
Mark stated more than once that there are only two options:
-Cycle of allied swords in a Standard set, but with lower power level, since the enemy ones caused problems;
-Cycle of allied swords with equivalent power level to the enemy ones, but in a supplemental set.
I guess players would be disappointed with the first option, and Modern Horizons is the perfect set to bring pushed equipments.

Pushed, yes, but not so powerful as to warp modern around them. I doubt we will get a new Body&Mind, but I wouldn't be surprised to see something closer to Light&Shadow or Fire&Ice

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
I would play Force as a sideboard card, the drawback is real unless you really need the speed. Just original Counterspell though, that would make me super happy. I have played with all of the knockoffs, please just give us the real thing.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Hoping in angels... Lots of them...
Possibly the fourth sister and/or a new Radiant and/or Feather and/or a new Selenia, but I'm not holding my breath on those.
Voice of All could also be given some new Serra-related art and flavor text.
Voice of all is already modern legal (10th edition print), so there is no chance for a reprint here and as uncommons, the single voices are downright a horrible choice: they are strictly sideboard cards with little to no gameplay value if you go against 4 of the 5 colors.
As someone who has never given up on the dream of making an Angel-themed Modern deck really take off, I agree with this. Anything Angel-related and/or for white that gives it the little bit that it's missing to make this work. I mean, personally, I'd like a new Avacyn that was really good (the original is my favorite creature card in all of Magic, and I'm still pissed they wasted her story) to go with it all, but I'll take what I can get to make this dream a reality.
Also, I am hoping for some or all of the following:
• Armageddon: I know this one won't happen, because they don't care for land destruction these days, but I'd sure like it. Stick some powerful threats like Lyra Dawnbringer and then blow up the world so they can't easily respond, and overpower them through the air.
• Serra's Sanctum (functional reprint): Sort of like they did with Cabal Coffers and such, I'd like to see a functional reprint of whatever power level is appropriate, so I can combine it with Enchanted Evening for a truly magical land...of world-destroying white spells. "This is our Universe 7 Spirit Bomb!"

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

The only mass land removal spell I can ever imagine appearing in Modern Horizons is the nerfed ruination variant from the commander decks, it nukes all nonbasics, but allows each player to search their decks for a number of basic lands equal to the number of lands they controlled that got nuked and put them into play tapped. Yeah, it'll hurt, but it doesn't feel to bad. I could also see a nerfed Stone Rain that only targets nonbasics.

I'd also like to see some support for Elves. I know that Saffron thought maybe Quirion Ranger some other Elf support stuff might make it. I'd love that. Priest of Titania, or even something like Wirewood Lodge (too good?) might help take my Elf deck to something competitive.

I want propaganda its not over powered we already have ghostly prison and it doesn't cause any issues. Pillow fort could be a deck. It could be a simple uncommon.
If they are willing to support bogles they could reprint ancestral mask.
It would be nice to see a more modern art and modern frame for the tron lands (and for those die hard tron players foil versions finally) i don't see why they were never in modern masters.
If we want something powerful to shake things up how about swords to plowshares. A second 1 mana white removal spell would change the meta
I agree threshold could be a nice addition to modern. We have fetch lands to help it, people already thought scour themselves for profit why not add threshold.
A powerful Urza planeswalker card (all of him not just his head this time) name it like Urza, Tolarian Scholar. To go with urza how about urza's incubator. it wouldn't be as broken as KCI but would allow higher cost tribal decks to have a chance (Dragons, angels, slivers, etc)
Price of progress would punish so much of the meta and push alot of players into mono red burn
The small card symbol in the tools bar generates [*card][/*card] tags (remove the asterisks).
The Urza lands were printed in 8th and 9th Edition, so they're already Modern-legal. Not Swords to Plowshares, please. Path to Exile is bad enough. Propaganda isn't in Modern color pie, so I'd rather they not make it Modern legal.

The closet thing for force of will in modern is daze that’s what you got to hope for not force of will
Foil would probably be the powered-down version of FoW that would be allowed for Modern or a new alternative would be created. Force of Will in Modern would just increase the number of blue-based decks. Having blue represented even more is not helping with deck diversity.
I don't know I still feel counterspell is a little to strong for modern. I mean at that point wouldn't you just play 4 remand 4 counter spell and 2-3 cryptic and it literally gives you the ability to lock people out of there early game. You can easily not feel bad remanding stuff until you find your hard counter or a hard removal spell/answer to what there playing.
Plus you just play 4 snaps to make it even harder to deal with.
I feel like it would make it where you play a tribal deck with caverns or low end aggro decks like burn or zoo where you play cheap threats and can play multiple spells a turn or get in under counters.
I think we may see some sort of attempt at a "fixed" mental misstep to reign in Faithless Looting (which might also waggle a finger at Ancient Stirrings)
I think cards that were printed into non-standard sets are a good guess for the reprint slots, to that end here is the list of over 400 likely reprints...
The Confluence Cycle is another part of that list. And there are a lot of things that could fit into any Draft Strategy that MH might have.

(U/B) is :symbu: or :symub: and the same is true for the other 9 hybrid symbols with their two colors in for the last 2 leters of the code. ((2/B) and co are :sym2b:)
Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags
I wouldn't even feel that bad about no counterspell if memory lapse got to the printers.
btw, does anyone know how do link the card image, but with an specific priting, and not just the latest (which is default)?
Not quite the same thing, but Lapse of Certainty was fun for a long time for me! I had built an Angel deck that used Quicksilver Amulet to help cheat in big legendary Angels, and a variety of countermagic and wraths to slow the game long enough for me to get there. Chancellor of the Annex was good in that regard, but I tell you what, no one expects Mana Tithe! You could slow people up quite a bit between the three of those, and then Dawn Charm in any of its modes was helpful, too. Ahhh, those were the days! I used the likes of Sunblast Angel as a big body/wrath effect (you could flash it in and keep your opponent wanting to hold back), Angelic Arbiter (flashed in via Amulet) to disrupt the opponent's gameplan, landed some Chancellors, and tended to let Akroma, Angel of Wrath, Iona, Shield of Emeria, and Reya Dawnbringer help me close out the games.
Wish I could build something close to that, hoping Modern Horizons gives me some tools to reinvent my Angel deck. Already considering Arbor Elf plus Utopia Sprawl to help speed things up. Maybe returning to the likes of Quicksilver Amulet, since being able to put it out on 2 and use it on 3 seems pretty strong. I've considered doing so with a Time of Need/turbofog-style shell; stall, dig for legendary Angels to answer the battlefield's needs (Linvala, Basandra, Iona, Sigarda, etc.), use their power and some removal to take the game over?

Commander: WUBRG Superfriends, GW Rhys Tokens, WUBRG Scion of the Ur-Dragon
Kitchen Table (now that's real Magic): WUBRG Domain, GU Biovisionary, UB Korlash Grandeur, UW Merfolk Mill

Also, I am hoping for some or all of the following:
• Zombie Master: I have an Abzan Zombie deck that abuses Wayward Servant, Plague Belcher, and the usual Zombies to really hit the opponent coming and going, and Song of Freyalise to ramp into it or hit that third trigger, then swing in after a Bontu's Last Reckoning or the like resolves. I'd use Zombie Master with Urborg to just skip the middleman and swing straight in.
• Armageddon: I know this one won't happen, because they don't care for land destruction these days, but I'd sure like it. Stick some powerful threats like Lyra Dawnbringer and then blow up the world so they can't easily respond, and overpower them through the air.
