What about a BR Demon Minotaur deck? That'd be an interesting pair of tribes to hybridize. Imagine the face card: a towering bull demon swinging fiery chains around.
I personally would consider the pair Demon-Ogre since that's one of the few pairs that actually exist and could be expanded upon. Also Human-Angel.
I totally wouldn't mind something flavorful like Artificer with Golem/Thopter/Construct or just plain declaring "artifact creature" a tribe.
With the uncommon/rare planeswalkerrs we are eventually going to get an actual planeswalker-card-type-themed Commander deck. Maybe as an off-theme deck at some point.
If they ever make decks based on card types, I could see it. But I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
As for a minotaur tribal deck, I am still waiting for my Mardu (BWR) legendary minotaur.

Well sure, they could always design some WAR-style PWs at rare or even uncommon, but I doubt that will happen this year.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
But I heard some rumors on foreshadows on the decks for 2019
Like rakdos 3.0 for rakdos deck hint
Well one person thought when mark said “Cinnamon” as one of the flavor with older artifact bordering
Where I’m going with this is what if Ugin, the Ineffable is the same case of hinting a colorless deck I mean ugins static seems a little off set to what cards are in the set since there’s only 9 colorless cards in the whole set that work with the static ability
What about Heroes and Villains as the theme? Each deck gets one mythic hero, one mythic villain, and a mythic partner duo. Furthermore, several of the new rares and uncommons could be legendary creatures as well. Maybe the six uncommons are a cycle of legends with Triad, a Partner variant that lets you have three commanders, provided all three have triad. The Triad cycle would consist of five monocolor legends, one for each color, and a colorless artifact legend.

Triad would require the legends to be individually very weak though, and that wouldn't be fun. Not saying it couldn't happen, I just don't think it is likely.
I do however like the heroes/villains idea. So, the question becomes, what heroes and villains would we like to see?
The obvious answer for villains for me would be the Sengir family. Such an underutilized group of villains.

I think the key is keeping Triad legends simple, preferably monocolored or colorless. They'd be uncommons, so Dominaria's uncommon legends would be good examples to follow.
I'd like to see RW and UB decks with Gerrard and Volrath among the mythic legends. They'd be perfect for the Heroes & Villains theme. Manfried Ulmach could be an easy RW villain. Question is, who would make a good UB hero?
Then there's the matter of the other two decks, which by my reckoning would have to be GUR and WBG to ensure each color gets at least two decks. One of them could in theory be WUBRG, but that would make Partner and Triad legends highly unlikely. GUR and WBG could get Heroes and Villains from the Abzan and Temur clans, but I'd like to get legends in those colors from other planes. Since Gerrard and Volrath would presumably be among the face cards, they would qualify for the two familiar faces, which means the GUR and WBG decks would get new faces, even though the Heroes & Villains theme is begging for established characters.

Eh, I really wouldn't want to see Triads. Partner already doesn't have much interest for me (it's neat but that's about it for my emotional investment on the matter) Triads seems like it would result in a lot less interesting designs. We haven't even touched Partner much to boot, seems far too early for Triads.
My speculation: no theme, just cool decks like in 2018, but each of them with a high profile reprint and a couple of other solid ones. We're in non-Masters set territory after all...
I wouldn't mind a "planes set" though, it was my speculation a couple of years ago. In that case, I think Dominaria, Innistrad, Alara and Kamigawa could be viable options, although Kamigawa has already received some amount of spotlight through the Dragons and Esper deck in the last two years... I excluded Zendikar because the Jund deck from 2018 basically cuts its wings.
While I've loved the idea of a colorless EDH deck, it is impossible to stick in the sort of secondary commander (such as Varchild, Wasitori, or Xantcha) that we've seen in nearly every commander deck for the past 2 years. A one-color deck could potentially have a colorless secondary commander but wizards couldn't slip a 4th legendary creature (whether old or new) into a colorless deck without making a 4th commander option for that deck.
A Kamigawa-themed deck could be a tough sell given the plane's low popularity. I'd just as soon move on to a new Japan-themed plane.
Innistrad is definitely viable, though I'd really want for Sorin to be the face card, and they're likely not doing CPWs this year. Alara is more likely than Kamigawa, but unless they make it outright WUBRG, the only shard they haven't done within the past couple years is RGW, and Naya happens to be the least popular of the five Shards. On the other hand, it would be a great opportunity for a RGW Cat legend (and no, I did not intend to reference Frosted Flakes). Of course, a WUBRG Alara deck could have a RGW Cat legend as well.

Eh, Maybe is Maro's default response. While there is some noteworthy aspects with what he chooses to respond it's really up in the air how meaningful any given maybe is.
And Kamigawa is popular enough for a Commander deck. A Standard set is more up in the air, but for a Commander deck I could very easily see it. Given what WotC stance on planes derived from different cultures is I also really don't want to see another Japanese set aside from Kamigawa.

Reminder ugin, the ineffable static ability does not fit well with war of the spark there’s only 9 cards in the whole set that interact with that static ability
I speculated recently it’s a foreshadow of a colorless involved thing was coming
It’s definately not the first time some cards/products foreshadow something in the future
edgar Markov foreshadowed white vampires with tribal support in Ixalan since mostly rakdos has the vampires and not much in white before Ixalan heck ravnica brought even more white vampires in orzhov
Besides most of time when maro gives the “maybe :)” responses it usually happens like he gave the “maybe :)” response for slivers in modern horizons

I'm not saying it's impossible, but Ugin wouldn't have to be any more foreshadowing a Commander product than he would be making use of past products. Some cards aren't made for Standard, but that still leaves a wide range of options for where it could fit. It's also entirely possible (not likely, but possible) he's foreshadowing something in Standard proper.
I don't know what else they have to do for commander. They could go very tribal themed and print Elves, Vs Zombies, Wizards, Goblins and white would be humans or angels. It's been a bit down hill since the first commander sets. I used to be all excited but it seems all too much now. I'd rather they just go back to printing regular sets and then people figuring out the decks for themselves. There used to be a few good cards per set. Now everything is pushed and over powered. I worry they are leading themselves to a magic hole where they run out of things to print. Until I see Alpha/beta the reprint set I guess there isn't anything to worry about. Magic won't be over until that happens. If there is a theme I think it should be uncommon matters. Power at any level. It's been forever since they have powered up so many uncommons and commons. I'll also take portal the 4th kingdom. Starter edition 3 and every card you ever wanted reprinted in commander.
I disagree, they don't always hit the mark with the decks, and sometimes the power level is lopsided (like the Nekuzzar deck), but the tribal decks we got two years ago were pretty damn solid, and the last cycle of planeswalker commander decks were fairly good. Although I will admit they were a bit all over the place. It was like three different decks were crammed into one commander deck. But that just gave us more to work with. WotC are learning from their mistakes every time they make one.

I hope not, not really a fan of artifacts. Granted so long as I have a deck I like it's not really all that important. But yeah, they can easily repeat themes and it's not going to break things.
