Do you think the 3rd set on Ravnica this go around could represent the guilds having to join together with the Gatewatch to take down Bolas? Could this be represented by guild abilities being in off colors? What about a white card with Spectacle, a black card with Adapt, etc.? Would this make sense?

a 3rd set. I believe maro and them said its gonna be strictly two sets
The set after Ravnica Allegiance is still on the plane of Ravnica, but will focus on the battle against Bolas rather than the guilds. This has been known for a good time and has been confirmed multiple times.
I would be surprised to see the guild abilities return this time around. There announcements so far seem to serve the purpose to not let false expectations rise up.

The 3rd one is on ravnica it’s just not like the first two this next set will be the bolas battle
