With Loyal Drake it would appear lieutenant is back as well. It's an uncommon though so I wonder which of the other decks will be getting the drake, and what the other lieutenant creatures will look like.
I could possibly see Enchanter's Bane being some sort of cycle too. Having artifact hate and land hate could easily be cycles. I am not sure if topdeck hate would really be a thing though....

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
Didn't the product description say powerful planeswalkers and their signature spells? Sounds like we'll have at least one cycle of spells based on flavor rather than mechanics.

"Seer's Bane" would be a cool name, though I can't imagine what it would do. Player's can't look at or reveal the top card of their library maybe? It would turn off scry and things like future sight but it stills seems super narrow.

It seems like Saheeli's Directive would be the "signature spell" of the U/R deck. I wonder if they will all be X spells, which would work well for enchantments and lands, but I'm not sure how it would work for "top deck matters."

I could see a Directive cycle and a cycle of "Commander storm" spells, certainly. And I could see each deck getting three Lieutenant uncommons like Loyal Drake, each uncommon appearing in two decklists.

How about Scry punishment? "Whenever a player scries, ~ deals X damage to them, where X is the scry number. (For example, whenever a player scries 2, this enchantment deals 2 damage to them.)" Though that would likely be red as well.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
With Xantcha, Sleeper Agent being spoiled, it looks like we have a cycle of commanders that aren't full color for the deck they're in. I believe this was confirmed to be happening before spoiler season began. However, both of these have been old characters from the lore, do you think it's possible they will continue this trend with the other two decks? Perhaps the zombie art from the stream is Liliana's dead brother lol (I don't know much about the lore, just random guess). Especially because so far, every one of those arts have been a PW or a legendary.
EDIT: Just looked at the art again, it looks like it's on Innistrad and IIRC Liliana and her brother were not native to Innistrad.

Well, Gavin confirmed in his column on the mothership today that it is indeed the case that each deck will have a new legendary creature that isn't the decks full colors. As for Lili's brother, he got a card in Dominaria: Josu Vess, Lich Knight. It's rather good.
He also confirmed several other cycles, like the "storm" cycle, including Fury Storm, and Echo Storm. And a Lieutenant cycle that includes Loyal Drake. According to him, each of those cycles include five cards.
I feel like we will get a phyrexia involved legendary in each deck
Brudiclad in the artifact and xantcha in the land one
You know, that would not surprise me in the least. Then I am most confused on who the Bant deck legend will be, as the Esper one will likely be Vuel/Volrath.

Could be some weird New Phyrexian aura based creature or something.

Crazy idea, but what about Belbe? I know she's probably more likely to be BG or even just monogreen than GW or GU, but she'd be green at any rate. I second the Volrath suggestion. We could also get a new Ertai in either of those two decks, though I think Belbe and Volrath would be received with more fanfare.

- "Loyal" Creatures (Loyal Drake, Loyal Apprentice, Loyal Subordinate, Loyal Guardian): Lieutenant is back in a big way. Several of these are good, and Apprentice is approaching greatness. White's is unrevealed, but dollars to donuts its "gain some amount of life" since creating tokens and giving +1/+1 counters are all taken already :(.
- Storms: Clearly a cycle, with Echo Storm and Fury Storm. I have no clue what else we'll see. Because these are rare we may only get 4? But it's also possible that the one of the decks has two "Storms" in it, probably Aminatou.
From there it gets tougher.
- Saheeli's Directive is a very loose cycle with Windgrace's Judgment; we're clearly getting a "Face Commanders Something" cycle that has a powerful effect, but there is no mechanical connection.
- Vedalken Humiliator and Nesting Dragon may be a loose cycle of "old mechanic power card"? If that's the case we'll most likely see some sort of powerful Bestow/Constellation card for Bant deck and some sort of powerful Clash(????) card for the Esper deck.

There's an interesting question in there. The signature spells are clearly a four-card cycle, one per character, but the Lieutenant and "Commander storm" spells will have to decide whether they are five-card cycles covering all colors or four-card cycles one-per-deck. It's a nifty little wrinkle in going down from five preconstructed decks to four in this product.

So far for the "signature spells" we have a sorcery: Saheeli's Directive, an instant: Windgrace's Judgement, and an enchantment: Estrid's Invocation. If they continue this trend, then tomorrow with Aminatou we should get either an artifact or a creature. I'm hoping for either her staff/wand thing as an artifact or the fireflies as a creature. Of course they could also just do two instants/sorceries/enchantments within the cycle, which would make sense because artifacts and creatures aren't usually what is being referred to when people say "spells."

Death's Head Moths, not fireflies. But I hope we get creatures as well.
