Oh I had an idea for a Bolus Ult. It gave you an Emblem with loyalty counters and acted as just like the old Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. I the Emblem would run out of counters you would exile it.
So thus would basically be Bolus giving the finger to Ajani. You know Ajani basically defeated Bolus with the legond rule, so now he comes back with the ability to make endless copies of him self.
This is probably to broken but I thought it would be both a fun and ironic ability. Yah; Ajani you won it's not like you were tricked into making Nicol Bolus stronger or anything.
I just want to Know if he will be the first 5 color Plains walker or not can you think of anyone more deserving of that power then him.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
The same Jace who has handled the responsibility of mediating between ten guilds and is now joining a mission on Amonkhet to battle said Elder Dragon. Tamiyo didn't "hold his hand", she taught him how to combat Emrakul's mental corruption.
I know of course that Jace isn't going to be five color, at least not on a regular basis, because he's supposed to be the face of blue the same way Gideon is the face of white and Chandra is the face of red. I simply said that Jace Beleren deserves to be five color more than Nicol Bolas, because his philosophy is more WUBRG than Bolas'.

................................................
You mean the guy that got curve stomped by one of Bolus's Minions?
The guy that ran at the site of Bolus?
The same Jace Beleren that needed Tamiyo to hold his hand and guide him so he wouldn't be brain jacked by Emrikule.
Your joking right.
Isnt Karn suppose to be able to wield all 5 color magics?
Nope artifact Ugin is the same way they don't have a specialty. Look up Ghostfire it is a red spell that is colorless the first devoid spell. So Karn is welds color less mana. Bolus has mastered 3 of the 5 mana types. Being a master of death, mind, and fire/passion magic.
If you look at what happened on Mirrodin with the Phrexians you will get a more clear understanding that Karn is a master of non not all. Basically phrexians were able to finally use colored mana and you get praetors and ect......

I thought that too, but the actual MTG website actually says he can, when you click on the planeswalker bio pages.

I've always saw (flavor-wise not ignore mechanics) it as you can spend any color to get Karn since he can master all 5. He's not Ajani who need the white and green mana you cast for him or Liliana who needs black mana to cast spell but Karn is able to be summoned and spell cast with any color you give him when you cast him. This is the reverse of Ugin who is truly colorless.

We could see a return of the delve mechanic or the promised end's mechanic so lat game if you have a large grave yard or even 4 cards with diffent types you could cast him for less then 8 mana but still have him at a high mana cost so Ugin can't -X to get rid of Bolus.

The reason he has access to all five colors of mana is quite simple from a storyline perspective. When the Legacy Weapon fired, Karn absorbed all the parts of the Legacy, including the Weatherlight, that as the time was powered by the Stones of Ramos, five powerstones, each attuned to a different color of mana, such as the Tooth of Ramos.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

i think it would be cool if he was somehow combined with the god mechanic, will the gods be done the same as theros? it could mean we get two cards for bolas like we did xenagos but it almost seems like by the time we catch up too bolas it may be too late and hes already ascended to godhood
if they were to reuse the theros gods mechanics
maybe a card with legendary enchantment planeswalker - bolas god
with devotion r/u/b that makes it become a planeswalker?
i have a feeling they will use the type god but not the devotion/enchantment mechanic for the gods this time around
but i still think the new bolas might still have to interact with dark intimations too
Each full art basic has his horns and more than a few cards talk about or refer to all colors in some way when talking about or alluding to Bolas.
Is his card subtype going to be God Pharaoh or at least God?
Are we 100% sure that he is going to be a Planeswalker?
He's the quintessential evil grixis character, he's not going to 5c or anything silly like that, and Dark Intimations would look pretty silly in retrospect if Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh isn't a Planeswalker.
Yep he's always been know to be grits, I'm tracking that. Dark Intimations is already silly being printed two sets before being fully useable. 5 Color would certainly be silly outside of this plane. On Amonkhet it's at least reasonable to speculate he may be 5C. With him being in charge of the full Molly and all here I certainly do hope he is a planeswalker but building a 5C edh with all 6 gods would undoubtedly be some good fun! Here's to Nicol!!

Do you think Bolus will be the first walker to have 5 or even 7 abilities. Bolus is supposed to focus on 7 in this set so seven mana, 7 abilities, and 7 starting loyalty.
Bolus better be amazing or wizards will be buried in angry mail letters.
I also hope Bolus explains part of his plains at-least the Eldrozies.

Maro has also stated that planeswalkerness supersedes other supertypes. This is why Karn is a Planeswalker and not an Artifact Planeswalker.

He DID absorb white and green mana on Alara when he ate the Maelstrom.
I really really doubt he's five color from this.
Maybe...
Just maybe......
He's a Flip-Walker.........
Honestly, my freaking head would explode. Still would need to solve the AR tutor conundrum...
But what Music genre will he prefer? Bolas, God of Grunge? Bolas, Pharaoh of Funk? Bolas, Deity of Disco?
We have blogatog-based stealth-confirmation that we will receive a native planeswalker in HOU.
