Ancestral Vision, Damnation and Scapeshift. Really? What's mythic about them? How do they affect limited so much they should be mythic, not just because their price tag are high that they should be on the higher rarity slot. Noble Hierarch says hi.
There is absolutely no way they`re printing Snapcaster Mage at rare after bumping Tarmogoyf and Confidant and Clique to mythic. No way, forget about it instead of setting yourself up for disappointment. Should it be rare? Sure. Will it? Hell no. I`ll take anyone`s bet on eating a basic Island on camera if it`s printed as a rare. I also think Ancestral Vision will be mythic if it`s in the set, drawing three for U and mimicing a P9 card certainly makes it justifiable.
Damnation, on the other hand... if they dare to print a four mana Wrath at mythic solely because they let its price get out of hand in the first place, I`ll rage.
Both your lists seem a little bit optimistic. There will be Comet Storms.
I don`t have a full list, but here`s my prediction for the chase mythics:
The last 9 mythics should range between $12 and $1, distributed about evenly between flavourful, Modern relevant inclusions (Thundermaw Hellkite goes here) and wtf mythics (stupid stuff like Eternity Vessel).
And just to make it clear: Liliana of the Veil and Snapcaster Mage means no Tarmogoyf. There is no room in the EV for all those three cards. The remaining 246 cards would have to be close to worthless.
Can't say I've done the maths on this yet either, but I agree that Lili, Snappy, Thundermaw and Hoof are mortal locks for mythic.
Katthemad is dead on with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, though - he is a seriously sneaky chance for the second black mythic. EDH demand has seen him spiral to $20+ a copy, but his triple-black CC made him impossible to print in a four-colour Commander deck or in a set designed purely for drafting (in CNS2), and the fact that he's part of Innistrad lore and we've just seen Innistrad v2.0 without him means that he's not turning up in a Standard-legal set any time soon. If he's not in this Modern Masters, his price is going to get out of control quickly.

Both your lists seem a little bit optimistic. There will be Comet Storms. That Mycosynth Lattice as a "wtf mythic" makes your list look a lot more realistic. Omniscience isn`t a Modern card afaik, so it would be a weird inclusion.
Liliana of the Veil means no Tarmogoyf. I repeat, no Tarmogoyf. If they are both in, the remaining 247 cards would be horrible, as they actually do have to balance out the EV.
Edit: I haven`t fleshed out a list yet, but my optimistic prediction for the chase mythics is:
WIth that list of valuables plus Damnation at rare, the last 9 mythics should range between $8 and $1.50, distributed evenly between flavourful, Modern relevant inclusions and wtf mythics (stupid stuff like Darksteel Forge, Eternity Vessel or whatever).
the difference between the rarity shift of Tarmogoyf, Confidant and Clique to mythic and a possible shift of snappy is that the former 3 cards were printed originally when mythic rarity wasn't present and they probably would be mythic from the beginning if the rariry was present. Snappy in contrast was a rare when mythic alredy existed, the same way Noble Hierarch was rare and was kept rare in MM even if it was quite pricey.
This set (like alla Masters) main purpose is to reprint cards and increase the quantity on the market so that more people can play with them, Hierarch was not bumped even if it was high priced beause people tend to play with 3-4 of them and having him in low quantity (due to mythic) would only increase the demand but not the supply. The same can be applied to snappy, so I think that he will be kept in the rare slot.

I'm not so sure they would have started as mythics if it was an option at the time of their first printing. Especially Goyf isn't a terribly interesting design and if I'm not mistaken, was more of a sleeper than obviously powerfull from the beginning. So I would argue wizards did decide for a mythic upshift mostly by price.
Nonetheless would it be a much higher threshold to upshift a card that was printed at rare originally in a set with mythics.
Not that I'd be shocked by snapcaster at mythic, but keeping him at rare seems more likely to me.
Why do you guys want Snapcaster at mythic so much? Seriously.
Noble Hierarch was and still is much more expensive than the Mage, shouldn't that be a mythic then?
I don`t want it to be a mythic. I hope it`s a rare. I would be very happy to eat that Island. I just think that Snapcaster Mage, as a Modern staple and chase card, is a perfect candidate for another one of WotC greedy rarity upgrades to sell more packs and retain reprint equity.
Noble Hierarch is just a very good mana dork. It`s a lot harder to justify that as a mythic than Snapcaster`s unique and powerful ability. Again, I disagree with putting Snap at mythic. I think it should be a rare. But if I`m playing the predicting game, my bet is on mythic, just like Confidant and Tarmogoyf, and just like Stoneforge Mystic would be if she`s ever in a Masters set (of the Eternal variety of course).

Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
(Tarmogoyf could also be Primeval Titan, Kiki-Jiki could also be Thundermaw Hellkite or Bonfire of the Damned.)
I mean, this is assuming there's an actual, equal balance of colors at mythic, which probably isn't going to happen (even without throwing in double-sided cards). But balancing it gave me a framework to build around, so that's how I did it.

"The true measure of all heroes is not what they achieve, but who they inspire." —Triumph of Gerrard
Bob and Tarmy didn't really get a rarity bump, since mythic rare didn't exist back when they were printed, so technically all rares from back then are rare/mythic (TBD).
When it comes to Goyf it got a rarity bump. The card is not all that great in Limited and is only mythic because of how good it is outside of it and its price, mostly the later though. Only way it would be decent in limited is if there was some self mill to make sure it was at least a 2/3 without waiting until turn 4 or 5.
Just as long as the prices go down significantly (50% hopefully? More like optimistically) to make them more affordable I wouldn't mind seeing any of the previously mentioned cards reprinted.

"He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone."
I agree, not about the snapcaster though. I think it's gonna be Liliana or Tarmogofy. I think it's gonna be snapcaster or Bob. I also think though that unjustly, just like Bob, snapcaster will be mythic if printed! I just don't see them willing to have it at rare. Especially since I'm calling for a Scalding Tarn at Rare. I see that being the big ticket rare.
Agree about Tamiyo, something I feel like people have forgotten about, but it's not gonna happen. The whole point of wizards doing MM or EM is to try to get all cards under the $60 mark. Which means Tamiyo has a slime chance, I see Karn or lilianna being the only Planeswalkers. I would like to see Olivia Volderan, and Sigurda reprinted as rares for fun! Scalding Tarn would be in it before Cavern, especially with Cavern floating right at $60. Bonfire would be cool, but doesn't really hold much value.
Do keep in mind that MM2 taught us that cards that could've been printed as mythic but weren't don't seem to get pushed to mythic either. The only rare -> mythic upgrades seem to have been from pre-Alara cards. This means I really don't think we'll get to see a mythic Snapcaster or something.

Remember, this set is meant for drafting. One of the reasons those cards are mythic (goyf and bob) is how bad they are in draft or sealed. Snapcaster is a lot more interesting for limited and I think should show up more.
That list sounds pretty reasonable. It even seems realistic given how much of a hosing Red gets with mythics these days. Last time we got Comet Storm. Who the heck plays Comet Storm?!

Goyf is as low as he's been in 3.5 years though, do we expect he would drop under $120 ever? I was hoping for Liliana and Snaps this go around, even though I already have Snapcaster, its a critical piece in Modern if you are in blue at all.

enough that I just bought a playset.
Omniscience sees no Modern play,
and there are more valuable (and more heavily played) options for EDH,
such as Consecrated Sphinx and Tamiyo, the Moon Sage.
Snapcaster Mage and/or Ancestral Vision getting upshifted is also a possibility.
I also firmly expect Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas,
