They make a policy of not putting cards in sets that explicitly name extraplanar lore or locations. They could conceivably make something that is functionally like Mishra's Factory, but they will not be directly reprinting that card.
Would they do it in the Masterpieces, though? They got a little cute with Mox Opal and Rings of Brighthearth, but both involve fairly generic names and use their flavor text to lampshade hang their references. Mishra's name is a very specific and explicit reference that they don't really have room to dodge around on a world/in a situation where nobody has any reason to know of Mishra.

Flavour aside, power-level is also against it. I know it's not that long ago they reprinted Mutavault, but that card ended up being everywhere in Standard, and I think I remember Aaron Forstyhe saying he regretted that printing.
Mutavault might be even stronger in this standard than that (RTR-THR) due to the tribal synergies from SOI-block. But Mishra's Factory is an artifact for all the Kaladesh-synergies, and it still blocks as a 3/3 on it's own.

Even if Mishra was alive, and even if he could make his way to Kaladesh, it would be as a Phyrexian invader.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
It easily fits into the number crunch, and would be a great old card for this world.
