Seems like a pretty likely guess. Egypt themed card for an egypt themed set/block; card art has Bolas horns and a Bolas inspired staff which seems aligned with the set anouncement which shows Bolas symbols all over the buildings.
Can this imply anything about the set? Deathtouch is in every set, so that does not say much. Tripple black is pretty unusual in recent sets.
I guess we can't say much based on this card. While it's most likely from Amonkhet plane, it doesn't mean it will be on Amonkhet set or represents any major theme on the set. My only guess is that Amonkhet will have some kind of graveyard interaction, as Egypt tropes are often related to afterlife and may end up having some synergy with Shadows over Innistrad block since they'll play together in Standard.

Also Gods might be a thing
If we do not get a reprint of Vengeful Pharaoh in Amonkhet or Hour of Devastation, then we can assume that it is likely to be one of the "masterpiece series" for the block.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

I am not entirely sure that we will be receiving any masterpiece set for Amonkhet, though my poor little heart would explode for a gorgeous new art for Bolas! c:

Starting with Kaladesh and for the foreseeable future, we're going to be adding a new feature called the Masterpiece Series. Each individual block will have its own name for the Series (the Masterpiece Series for Kaladesh block, for example, will be called Kaladesh Inventions), but it will be referred to overall as the Masterpiece Series. Basically, we're taking what we did with the Zendikar Expeditions and applying it to every set.

We will get a new planeswalker card for Nicol Bolas, that is almost a certainty at this point as he is the villain of the block.
As for the theme of the masterpieces, there have been multiple suggestions ranging from the possible (Zombies), via the unlikely (traps, curses), to the impossible (planeswalkers, we don't have 60 odd different planeswalker characters yet. Reserved List Cards, not going to happen because of how the reserved list currently works).

Chance of Bolas as a creature and not a walker is 0% unless what happened to ob nixilis happens to Bolas, and if creative does that they are truly the worst creative department in the multiverse unless they somehow pull off something extraordinary story wise because of it, but I doubt it.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I highly doubt it would be a masterpiece card. As much a I love the card, it isn't super high powered like masterpieces. It is sneaking up there in price, though and it's a decent card.
