So Innistrad had a pre-existing ally tribal set-up Spirits (WU), Zombies (UB), Vampires (BR), Werewolves (RG), Humans (sorta GW). And only ally supporting lands at Rare (Soviet Reverse Checklands). With the loss of Origins we'll lose access to the Enemy Painlands.
Now, given that we're definitely getting a UR focus in this block, this seems like the right place to tip the scales back toward parity with more enemy love. And giving enemy themes the heavier focus over ally seems like the way to go. Any thoughts we might see a similar tribal set-up to Innistrad on the opposite color sets?
Dwarves getting the RW Tribal slot would work, Elves getting GU (mostly because I feel 'gremlins' might be a BG theme). Now my only basis on this is what we know from Origins (Artificer being the tribal for UR) and about Saheeli. And of course Wizards wanting to keep Enemy functional (so we need new Enemy lands).
Dwarves in general fit greatly in WR, and Rashmi (the elven inventor from latest story) seems to be UG, so there's that too. On the other hand, the Consulate needs to fit in somehow, and they don't really feel WB. I mean, they could be, but so far they give me more of an WU vibe.
Probably wouldn't be with the "rebel" mechanic though (as it is way to good for standard). But it would be nice to get some more creatures with the creature type.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Enemy tribes makes sense. A lot of it feels like giving all the color pairs a home, now that dragons will be leaving standard (reducing support for 3 color decks, possibly)
We can have
- Artificing Dwarfs RW
- Inventors RU
- Anti-Artifact Rebels GB
- Elves? (they mentioned elves) GU
- Kaladesh Rulers BW

Meren of Clan Nel Toth - Reanimator Value
Mizzix - Out of the Box Spellslinger

Well, the races are humans (all colors, obviously), Vedalken (blue), Dwarves (white), Aetherborn (black), Elves (green), and Gremlins (red). I fully expect them to bleed into secondary colors.

they said there won't be any returning mechanics in the set so maybe we could get a new rebel mechanic

That would be awesome.
And on another note: At least one red/white dwarf has been confirmed in Kaladesh, and, She. Is. Awesome. I have not previously needed a red/white legendary creature as much as I need Depala, and I am an avid Commander player with around 20 different commander decks. >.<

Each color having a primary color with a few in the secondary color (and a number of two color cards). With the occasional one of offshots in different secondary colors due to plot and character purposes (Baan being in WU or UB, The elf Inventor from Wednesday's story being in GU, etc). It revives Elves in Black from Lorwyn which is nice, but otherwise I'm not feeling my theory anymore. Although I still feel Enemy will get more love than Ally simply for standard reasons.
