Nissa go to Zendikar with Nahiri to rebuild the plane and ensure that the girl does not become crazy again.
Nahiri bailed from Innistrad as soon as she defeated Sorin. She never met anyone from the Gatewatch and still has no idea that Zendikar has been saved.
-Heavy tech. make more wreid Zombies then Liliana keep in INS and pair Thalia make the new Balance of the plane.
I don't see this. She just joined; we need to see what her interacting with the other characters is like.
-Since the last editions were darker and desolate, it would be best to make a more "funny" history and for this Gideon-Chandra can get a "Slayers couple" Wanabbe which would lead to more funny situations.
Funny? Gideon and Chandra's relationship has never been particularly funny, and even then, Magic's humor rarely comes from this kind of source.
Chandra is already pretty much confirmed to be in Kaladesh due to the planeswalker decks
She's confirmed for the planeswalker decks, though, and the planeswalker is one of the 5 cards that are unique to the deck that don't appear in the set -
1 Planeswalker
2 rares to fetch the planeswalker
3 uncommons that cares about a planeswalker of that type
2-4? ETB tapped dual-land for the deck (to keep them in Standard without them having to actually put it in a set)
4 common that they like to cast.
Because of this, Chandra herself will likely not actually be in the block (since that would mean we'd be getting 2 versions of her on top of the one still in Standard in BFZ).
If this is correct, then there are actually going to be a total of 9 new planeswalkers with Kaladesh. 5 in the block that are going to be geared for competitive play (and are going to be ungodly expensive) and 4 in the decks which are explicitly said will not be geared for competitive play to avoid players feeling like they "must buy the decks"
The other possibility, of course, is that they won't put any planeswalkers in the block itself and they'll only appear in the Packs. This would mean that planeswalkers are going to stop being printed as competitive staples and likely won't see as much tournament play. This would be a move I think would be good for the game since pretty much every deck nowadays needs 4 copies one to three planeswalkers to be viable (and hella expensive on the secondary market)

Rose tint my world, keep me safe from my trouble and pain.
They'll never have a three mana walker unless it's complete and total rubbish. LotV saw to that. You can have power or you can have an early cast, but you can't have both.
It'd be more like:
Chandra, the Annoying One
1RRR
3 Loyalty
+1: Chandra deals 1 damage to you.
-2: Chandra deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
-7: Exile all red cards from all libraries, then begin crying.

Ummm I'm sorry but that idea just seems stupid. We know the planeswalker decks will feature the main walkers of the story, so your saying that four high story profile characters will get lame non-playable started deck cards but not shown in the block? I get what you mean about how we would be getting two Chandra cards, but since one won't be all that playable i don't think that is an issue.

Indeed. Maro has even confirmed that the characters put in the planeswalker decks, at least for the large set, will also get cards in the set itself. That means that if the large set contains three planeswalkers, then two of them will also appear (on different cards of course) in the planeswalker decks.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
now I don't disagree with you here, but should red really have to suffer even more than it already has just because GREEN IS TOO STRONG?! I really don't care if Jund becomes powerful, I just want to play red and compete, not get hosed by every other color, and only because green was too powerful to begin with
A three mana chandra could be in the cards (pun intended!) I doubt Jund players will play 12+ 3-drops (well, maybe they do, who knows!) So, in order not to over-tax the 3 slot, they'll have to choose (maybe run all 3 walkers, but wont be all 4-ofs). Also, a 3-mana chandra would probably be a very aggressive card, and both lili and nissa are better in mid-range strategies, so it's not even clear the same deck would want all 3.
At any rate, I came in to say I'd love a UR walker. Both those colors are pretty relegated in standard (yes, UR fevered visions was a big part of the GP, but that's because people were unprepared; it's quite easy to beat it if you tune your board a little bit: green eldrazi decks can chain together world breaker and bant can play felidar cub, plus counterspells). UR control is a great archetype that has not really seen much play recently, and I really hope they bring it back.
Red also pairs with other colors. 3 mana Chandra into 4 mana Gideon. Boros looks to be the equipment colors(weapons trainer, toll collector and stone haven outfitter) and I expect to see equipment get better in Kaladesh.
Or if Red gets some really good burn, Rakdos could be good enough with 3 mana chandra and liliana. Rakdos was top tier as recent as last standard with R/B Dragons. It got hated out not by Rally, but Mardu Green and specifically, crackling doom, ironically a card once only played in mardu dragon lists in the previous Theros/Khans standard. It is loosing a major piece in Regent leaving but a couple really good R/B creatures to pair with Olivia could be amazing. Olivia I think will see major play at some point. She just needs the support. A 3/3 flier for 3 alone is amazing value.
To be fair, Sylvan Advocate is a very Jundy card, basically being standard's version of Goyf. Honestly, a very small percentage of players play Conspiracy so I think the time and effort should have just gone into making Kaladesh better and bigger. Maybe if some of the conspiracy cards were standard playable, people would care. Right now, it would be cool to start getting trickles of Kaladesh spoilers, like maybe 1-2 per week leading into official spoiler season.

Probably no Daretti because Daretti was shown in Conspiracy 2 today.
Though notably not as a Standard-legal card. A Daretti in Kaladesh could still be possible (and Kaladesh seems like the kind of plane he'd enjoy hanging out on), but it's a matter of finding a reason for him to be there during the block's story.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

It was in the article about it written by MaRo, and has been mentioned several times on his tumblr since. Basically, the planeswalker *characters* in the planeswalker decks, also get cards in the set for at least the large set of the block. Do note that the cards in the decks will be different planeswalker cards than the ones in the block itself, and will probably be worse than the cards in the block as the product is aimed at *beginners*. I.e. the Chandra in the block may cost 2RR and have a finisher that lets you lightningbolt every upkeep, while the one in the planeswalker deck may cost 3RRR and have an ultimate that deals 6 damage to two target creatures, or some such. The cards in block are designed to be competitive, the ones in the planeswalker decks are designed to be splashy.

In the article it didn't say they would also get a card in the block, however someone on another site quoted from Blogatog. I'll link it (and another related post that also confirms it) here in case anyone else is wondering.
I'm actually glad to hear this, because otherwise all my theorycrafting on which planeswalkers we get for which sets is for naught - now I know that my current theory on the matter is still valid since we get 5 'walkers per block, and there's no weirdness for extra ones only in the intro packs which means they have to print one Gatewatch member per set if they want to keep them all in Standard uninterrupted.

So looking at todays story and the reveal of Dovin Baan this my new guesses;
"W"-Dovin-UWR
"U"-Saheeli-UR
"B"-Liliana-B
"R"-Chandra- R
"G"- Nissa- G
and while a bit off topic it also looks like the next block might be Ravnica 3 with Jace, Beef...I mean Gideon and Vraska.

So from what we know from various sources the following Planeswalkers are on Kaladesh:
Saheeli Rai - RU
Dovin Baan - U
Nissa Revane - G
Chandra Nalaar - R
Liliana Vess - B
I'm guessing that we won't get a second Liliana card so close to Eldritch Moon and that she'll be in the background of the story but won't get a card. This means that we are missing a white and a black planeswalker in our list. Now we haven't yet seen the villain who is sabotaging things, so its probable that there will be another Planeswalker in Aether Revolt who is revealed to be responsible. The Gremlins in the past have been black aligned, so I'm guessing that the hidden villain will be black aligned who is stirring up the rebels.
I also wonder if both Chandra's parents really died twelve years ago. They have deliberately left things vague.
I think Baan is going to be UW and i highly doubt liliana will get a card. Vraska did get a nod in the story today. Maybe she'll be there to collect aether for the golgari. I still hope that will get a tezzeret.

I see Dovin (the character, not the art) more as WU than mono-blue, concerning how he seems to insist on rules and order. But he might have a hint of black too, the whole political system on Kaladesh looks like it was made for a black character to abuse.
Also, the rebels seem to be the good guys here, trying to free the people (and possibly even the Aether itself) from the oppression of the consuls. There could still be some villain (still hoping for Tezzeret, or even Bolas himself) manipulating the consuls to his own ends.
I get the feeling that black wont actually represent evil in this set, or at least not represent the villains. I have been saying for a while I expect vraska to be on this plane, so she would be the exception. I think we will have black representing the gremlins they mentioned, and anyone trying to use the aether in general. I think the real villains will be the counsel, who will be like a dark azorious. sure there may be some black in the counsel, but my bet would be a black aligned planewalker would be leading the revolt in some form, to try and control the power of the aether
My guess is we'll get Chandra, Saheeli, Nissa, Dovin, and Tezzeret. Saheeli is the face of Kaladesh, Chandra is obviously going to be the main protagonist, Nissa is going with Dovin to try and calm Chandra down, and Tezzeret is likely going to be hired by the Consul to help deal with the sabotage problem, and later Chandra. Saheeli is the face of Kaladesh, so either Chandra or Nissa will likely be the face of Aether Revolt.
I'm also guessing that Gideon is staying behind with Jace to set up a third Ravnica block where they work together to solve planeswalker-related crimes going on in the city.

Dovin, as representative for the Kaladeshi governing body, should be in W, and his innate search for perfection is classic (U).
Saheeli is mostly an unknown, but if she is an artificer then she'd be a strong fit for UR.
Outside of the plot walkers we know of, we have Tezzeret, Daretti, Nahiri, and Karn. All have a degree of love for artifacts, but we can probably cut the last two from the list as being... occupied. Tezzeret showing up to remind us how badass Bolas is could be cool, and help the story, so he would be a strong fit for the B 'slot' (as much as there are color slots for walkers).
Now, Daretti having just appeared in Cons2 would suggest not having him show up, however there is a curious notion to take into account. If they reprint Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast into standard, it will make for a fine little bonus to those that drafted him in Conspiracy this month. He would find an invention faire quite interesting to his work, and he's now in B. Filling the slot we need filled, if it isn't Liliana.
