A big cash reprint that wouldn't break standard? Like Cavern of Souls? We have been asking, and they have been promising, reprints in normal sets since they have removed core sets.
This thread is for speculating about Maro's spoiler. I have created a thread specifically for the discussion of Wizard's spoiler policy here please use it for all future discussion about how Wizards handles spoilers.
It'll be Oath of Liliana to go with the Liliana, the Last Hope card preview on the main site.
The article (and/or others on the day) will celebrate Magic's lead independent woman Liliana on Independence Day (geddit?) with the alien antagonist force crashing down similar to the movie Independence Day.
A little ironic that Liliana then goes on to join a group entirely based on co-dependence but hey they'll just emphasize the importance that is freedom of personal choice in the equation.
MaRo's post makes it sound like they're caving to demand but you can bet this was planned. They knew showing 4 colors of Oaths would trigger their consumerbase's OCD and get them eager for a fifth.
They realized they could get cute with the timing of the reveal of the black oath and committed to it.
All of this might sound cynical, but I'm actually very supportive. Freedom of personal choice is probably one of B's greatest virtues and it's good they chose to make Liliana out as an example of a B protagonist.
This should be a great execution - it's just a pity they couldn't give the same care to handling the legendary werewolf or Tamiyo. (Making a Tamiyo without investigate after pulling off Narset Transcendent with rebound is such a missed opportunity.)
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
if it was Serum Visions or Inquisition of Kozilek(because both B and U need help and we asked for reprints of both cards for a loooong time) but it's probably Oath of Liliana. I hope it's good enough to boost B so that bant isn't THAT dominating.
One can only hope...
We shall see how their perception of flavor works.
Each member of the cycle uses their faction's keyword. Thus, Narset is one of the very few exceptions. This is also why we didn't see a Taigam legend.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

The reason Narset had Rebound is because she was part of a cycle of cards depicting what became of the old Khans in the new timeline:
Each member of the cycle uses their faction's keyword. Thus, Narset is one of the very few exceptions. This is also why we didn't see a Taigam legend.

Cmon. Already

We already saw his preview. It was the legendary Spider that was spoiled last night, to the surprise of no one.
Still waiting for some reasons to bust open some packs. As of now I'll have some extra money come release...not excited yet
