I have neither the skill to correctly and accurately analyze this set in the context of current and future formats after 12 hours of exposure, nor the hubris to delude myself into believing that I do.
MaRo holding spoilers over our heads like we are starving prisoners or something really makes me not sympathize for them being the target of the leakers they so despise. This type of thing really starts to feel kind of disrespectful after a while.
Perfect example of why leakers don't hurt us and certain Wizards spoilers just frustrate us.
I wouldn't expect the black oath until after the how/when/why of Liliana joining the gatewatch is revealed in the story. So Wednesday or later if they stick to the normal story schedule.
Lili and her corresponding oath will probably be spoiled Wednesday in the new UR, contraptions are probably kaladesh. Best bet is an established character gets a legendary card

Well I for one agree with you. It's annoying and rude. And I'll say it jeopardizes my interest in the set to see reveals like this. I was far more interested in OGW after the massive leak than I would have been on the roller coaster of interest and disappointment. That frustrating tug-of-war was pointless aggravation AND I could care less what articles or timing are aimed at - I either will like and want the cards or not. There is no convincing here.
I don't think the problem is that they choose to have a set progression of previews. My problem is that they trickle them out so slowly, and showing us Emrakul a week before previews nominally started just exacerbated the pain.
Disrespectful? I think it's disrespectful to say that you have the 'right' to see preview cards whenever you want. You don't, and your argument is incredibly contrived.
Well you are entitled to your own opinion, regardless how personally inflammatory it may seem. Also, I don't know if you're aware what the words "kind of" and "after a while" mean but you did a good job at ignoring them.
I didn't know that simply liking faster spoiler seasons was in any way offensive to you or anyone else. Sorry to anger you so much because I apparently touched some kind of weird sensitivity you possess involving...spoilers.
At no point in time did I say I have any right to spoilers. Your post is pretty inflammatory, whilst at the same time exceedingly loosely connected to my comment.
I thought this was the MTGS not the freaking Riot Games forum.

I agree with this 100%. The Kozilek leak excited and intrigued me, and really sparked my interest in the set in ways Wizards has NEVER done for me regarding ANYTHING in the past.
But, I guess having a personal dislike for the way Wizards handles their reveals makes us self-entitled, arrogant, anti-WOTC extremists who deserve to be targeted with scorn by the general community, apparently.

I'm having a hard time seeing this as anything other than trying to find another reason to hate MaRo/WotC. This is a completely reasonable (and common) practice when releasing information about a new product.
I generally despise how often people throw around the word "entitled", but...
It can't be contraptions as one of the pre-requsites for solving them is that it must make sense with the existing card, which is a goblin, of which there are none on Innistrad…. (unless there is some background I missed…?)
My bet would be on a Green/Black Spider legend, or Ludevic
More realistically it wouldn't be Contraptions because that would be part of the mechanics explanation of the set. But the no Goblins part is definitely a big issue too.
No idea what it is though. I'm not going into it feeling too optimistic, but I'm sure that overall it'll be a fine card, just not for me.

Is having a opinion something forbidden on mtg salvation? Because lately it seems so, hating on anyone who shows any other emotions but fanatical love for wotc seems popular here.
No, I've seen plenty of hate on WoTC and hate on people who defend WoTC too. Back on topic, I think it's going to be Oath of Liliana.
Something that people have been asking them to make for quite some time and something that goes in the set chronologically and we seemed to expect (Liliana, the Last Hope) seem to contradict.
Must be something they didn't do in original INN ? But people wanted.
Ludevic is dead so unless he is black (like they did with Mikaeus) I don't think we'll see him, especially since there is already a UB legendary in Gisa and Geralf. The BG legendary spider is good guess though. I honestly dont have a better guess myself right now.

Didn't Geralf correspond with Ludevic not too long ago? Or am I misrembering? I was under the impression that Ludevic is still active. Though I haven't actually seen that much demand for his card, at least not nearly on the level of the demand for a Werewolf commander.
I'm pretty sure it's not going to be Liliana. People have only been asking for Liliana's Oath since the previous block, and Liliana regularly gets new planeswalker cards, so that wouldn't be any big wish that is finally fulfilled.
(by the way, I'm baffled that people actually take offense at Maro's post x_O He was teasing a reveal one single day in advance and that's somehow supposed to be disrespectful? It's perfectly normal that a company tries to build excitement for its upcoming product, and even more normal that a game designer who did something fans have been asking for for a while is looking forward to share that with people.)

I didn't demand anything, so entitled is a stretch. I didn't trash WOTC, I criticized the method, so it isn't anti-WOTC either. It is a rude method to slowly trickle out spoilers instead of letting the product at large speak for itself. Slowly teasing out the cards to try and build anticipation only drags it out to a point where I lose interest and strains the set to live up to the building anticipation - which is an unfair standard to set for any set considering how excited I already am about Magic. It just poisons that excitement. I'm a big picture kind of person. I don't give two *****s about standard or limited. I need to see everything because my tastes as a Vorthos Timmy are very niche and specific. Read my posts and see how often I comment about art, story and theme, not playability. This method is insulting and I haven't ever tolerated it. Withholding story cards such as Oath of Lilliana isn't even justified at this point considering cards like Anguished Unmaking and the Art Books spoils those plot points, too. So quite frankly, it's just crap. I'd sooner make a list of cards I want and test which decks they'll go into before the pre-release than wait on this crap until last minute just because.
Can you imagine how I feel when, for example, an entire day goes by and the only spoilers were non-Blue, non-white cards? Or the only Blue card spoiled is a freaking Eldrazi? It just poisons my excitement. OGW was absolute hell when I would see, day after day, more Eldrazi GARBAGE instead of actual Zendikar Adventure World cards. Until the big LEAK demonstrated Nissa and Oath of Jace and Oath of Gideon so I could even begin to tolerate that block. Kiora was the ONLY card in BFZ I actually liked, so you can imagine my feelings about BFZ's slow spoiling.
My bet is on Ludevic. I had to double check that he doesn't have a card. He is a super-teased character since ISD.
Although the missing black oath has caused him a lot of headache. That's probably more likely.
Everyone should learn from this

Project: Khans of Tarkir Cube (cubetutor)
Well that's a pretty extreme analogy... I think most people see it as "hyping up a big reveal".
I'm certainly excited. I'd guess it's Oath of Liliana, but that would mean that...
Edit: The "something" in his post almost implies an effect that players have been wanting. Hmm...
