So Elements are my favorite non-iconic creature type (that would be Sphinx).
So far we have Eldrazi:
Angel
Hippogriff
Horror
Ooze
Reflection
So my fingers are pretty heavily crossed for some pretty powerful Elemental Eldrazi... Elementals like Tyrant of Discord or Malginus as Eldrazi would be cool. :3

Hi, I'm new!
Mark my words, the Year of Eldrazi will not be the last we see of them.
I like the idea of Eldrazi corrupting primal elemental forces, but it just doesn't seem in line with Emrakul's m.o. of distorting and mutating biological matter.

I've always felt that Elementals were the embodiment of a plane's nature mana, and Innistrad's mana is all ****ered up thanks to Nahiri, so even a colorless non-eldrazi Elemental would be amazing to get.
If Emrakul can turn a bunch of humans and a town into a Legendary Eldrazi, i really don't see a problem with a couple messed up Elementals.
The elemental creatures that we got in Shadows were both Elementals that had secondary creature types so that could work. Wolf of Devil's Breach and Pyre Hound, we are due for a few more element creatures compared to the 9 found in Innistrad block.

Innistrad block was 3 sets, SOI is 2. Innistrad as a world is more about the Werewolves, zombies, spirits, vampires, and humans, with a secondary focus on oozes, demons, Angels and other horror movie tropes. This time around we add Eldrazi and Horror for the Cosmic Horror feel so anything outside of the above is going to get pushed out a bit to make room.
I think the presence of Eldrazi and Horrors will reduce the number of Elementals (and those are typically hellhounds and similar anyhow) in this block so I doubt you will get your elemental Eldrazi. Especially as pointed out earlier Emrakul focuses on morphing living things, not dead (zombies) or energy (Elementals) things.

(U/B) is :symbu: or :symub: and the same is true for the other 9 hybrid symbols with their two colors in for the last 2 leters of the code. ((2/B) and co are :sym2b:)
Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags

On a sidenote, there were dragons in original innistrad.
Can't help but hope for an eldrazi dragon
Here's to hoping!
Though i am very disappointed that Observer is a Treefolk. Idk how or why they choose that tribe for a creature that almost exactly mirrors one from Innistrad block, Soul of the Harvest matches in cmc exactly, and P/T exactly, and the abilities both focus on creatures and drawing cards.
Treefolk is a popular tribe... Maybe it speaks to Kaladesh...

On that note, Autumnal Gloom, Ancient of the Equinox should have been an elemental!

Ooooh! Are treefolk prevalent in S. Asian/Indian lore?? That would give me something big to look for in the block.
Also on the why treefolk vs elemental question, there was an intro pack zombie-treefolk back in the day, and he was pretty awesome.
The new card Ulvenwald Observer is essentially a Soul of the Harvest that matters about about creatures dying.
The toughness require and lack of trample aside, they are the same card, in in my opinion the Observer should have been an Elemental.
They just did a near exact duplicate of Tree of Redemption with the opposite color and whose life is exchanged. (Tree of Perdition)
