MaRo said an enemy colored block is on the short list a couple of days ago on Tumblr. Hopefully its a hint about the block after SOI. More hopefully it has enemy versions of the showlands instead of the battle/tango lands.
Ugh, no. Those are awful. At least the BFZ lands are fetchable in Commander. The SOI lands are just Standard trash.
Maybe the Egypt set will have:
white/black - mummies
Why in the world do people keep saying that mummies would be white? Because the classic movie mummy is wrapped in white cloth? It's absolutely ridiculous. What about mummies says "white" to you people?

While Black is certainly the color of death, we have seen venerated death only a small handful of times in the history of mtg. I would imagine imperial pharaohs being white in life and the systematic removal of organs and sacred burial to ensure a smooth journey to an afterlife to be kind of white. Alternatively, the idea of a mummy as the guardian of a tomb or as an agent of divine justice (if you want to go beyond real-life mummies) seems kind of white. Again, the idea of the dead being raised up out of respect instead of having it shown as rampant desecration is surprisingly new for mtg.

Undead mummies have nothing to do with venerated dead and a smooth journey to the afterlife. They're a modern western cultural invention and usually involve curses set up to thwart grave robbers and evil pharaohs seeking immortality. Sounds pretty black to me.

I kinda see it as mummies still being a black concept, but dressed up in a white-looking fashion. They are preserved sanctified, giving off a pretty white vibe. Not to mention that the mummification process is based on a pretty white-centered belief in the afterlife. It's tradition to praise 'holy' or 'royal' individuals in death and ensure their prosperity in the afterlife. There is certainly a black component surrounding death and protecting riches, but it's done in a pretty white way. It's basically greed mixed with faith.
Long story short, mummies could very well be WB. I mean, heck, Magic has pulled off red vampires and blue zombies fairly well, despite the fact that those would have seemed pretty outlandish before Innistrad. I have faith that WB mummies could be a thing.
That said, I don't think mummies would be their own tribe. Even if they just had the Zombie creature type, we've seen Zombie tribal a lot and on top of that, mummies are the Zombies of past kings and priests in Egyptian culture. Given that kind of social status, I wouldn't expect to see too many, and the ones we would would probably be at higher rarities.

The responses from Rosy Dumplings and deidarakoon are pretty good answers to this. I'll also mention that in terms of mechanics, white has dealt with raising the dead since Alpha/Beta: Resurrection. It's a theme that continues to this day in cards like Unburial Rites, March from the Tomb, and Defy Death. White mummies honestly aren't much of a stretch.

Again, the concept of undead mummies are a modern invention and probably would have been quite offensive to ancient Egyptians. They are almost exclusively depicted as evil pharaohs seeking immortality or mindless shambling zombies raised as the result of a crypt curse. While resurrection is definitely part of white, that's just what it is. Rebirth, resurrection, being raised whole again. Not being raised as a shambling mindless corpse. Besides, there already is a mummy in Magic. Cyclopean Mummy. It's solidly black, as it should be.
The three original werewolves (Greater Werewolf, Lesser Werewolf, and Treacherous Werewolf) were also exclusively black. Now they are exclusively red and green. Sometimes old cards can be used as precedence (Resurrection), but you also have to consider modern design philosophy (Defy Death) to make sure the pie hasn't shifted. One single common card from Legends does not set a strong precedence.

I doubt the enemy colour stuff will cater to existing tribes much - mostly because I think the idea of Eldrich Moon is to draw on more lovecraftian style stuff. The Dark One has awoken and his minions are coming to destroy everything.
I see this as more what shadowmoor was to lorwyn. Not specifically focused on the tribal stuff - but may have a few cards that cross promote. I'm sure we'll see a fair share of vampires, werewolves, humans, spirits, etc. However I'm sure the plurality of creature cards will be horrors - maybe also mutants.
Given the amount of enemy coloured stuff that's rotating out with Kahns, I'm certain either this set or this next one will be enemy colour heavy.

In Egyptian lore - mummies are not evil. They are protectors of the tombs and guardians of the spirits. They tend to be lawful to a fault and protectors and generally on the side of justice. This all sounds very white to me - or at worst white/black since they are reanimated undead.
That said - nothing about innistrad seems Egyptian. I can't see them introducing mummies in this plane.

Ok, how about addressing the rest of my post?
