Simply what the title says. When do we get the commander product announcement? Also, what do you think it will be? I was kind of hoping for enemy colored pair decks.
I would guess they will do things around the same times this year, but you never know. I am expecting two color pairings this year, although it would be nice to see them do four color some day to help fill that hole for EDH players (I do not play myself), but I think the mana base would be too clumsy for a product that at least partially exists to introduce new players to the format.

Yeah four colors is something strange and I don't know if they're quite ready to bring something like that in yet. If anything I could see them making one five color deck, but then the rest of the decks would pretty much be any random color pairings and not an even cycle. I still think it will be enemy pairings this year, or maybe just half of the dual colored pairings and then next year we will see the five other color pairings; similar to how RTR was divided up with Gatecrash.
If it's enemy colours I hope they print out storage lands for them. Allies got theirs in Timespiral and I doubt we want to see those storage lands in standard again. Also seriously hoping for some reprints like lifeforce cause mono green needs easy ways of surviving black sun's zenith.
Why would you want "new card" slots wasted on *****ty storage lands? I haven't seen one of those outside a single UW Proliferate deck in 7 years. And green has tons of ways of surviving Black Sun... mostly just playing more creatures.
I look forward to whatever they make though. So far they are a solid 3 for 3 on Commander sets. I bought all the first ones because I got them cheap, but the rest have been singles goldmines.
Didn't 2014 come out last year, and 2015 will be this year? Is 2016 in the topic title a mistake? Or am I mistaken?
Also, is the Wizards panel at Comic Con San Diego is happening today? Right now? Already happened? Other than a poster mentioning it in this topic, I can't find anything about it happening today online!

2015 CMD product released in late 2014 and encompassed most of this year. I think that's why they're named after the next year.

Am I not understanding what we're talking about? The most recently released Commander product was Commander 2014, not 2015.
Unless they skip a year, it'll be Commander (2015).
I support enemy pairs - and storage lands too, simply because I'm planning a Vorel of the Hull Clade deck that would love a storage land that also tapped for 1 normally.
Yeah it was an error on my part; I'm ahead a year thinking that the decks were made for the year to come (like the Core Sets). I'll change the name to prevent all of this unnecessary confusion.
More than colors, I wonder if it will become a thing to have one PW commander in each years decks now.
This is actually what I'm wondering the most about. It would seem like a waste to introduce that piece of rules text technology and then not use it again but they might just choose not to use it again immediately and sit on it for a bit, or maybe try it on something else (Enchantment? Artifact? Probably not but who knows).

They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.

SDCC is the second weekend in July (The weekend of the 9th). Off hand I'm not sure when the Magic Panel will be during that period. Probably between 12 and 3 Pacific time on Saturday.
Also I don't think we'll get walkers this year. I don't think they want to wear out that gimmick too quickly.
I'd like to see CommandWalkers again, and more Past Characters. I think both of these ideas would have been successful enough to be obvious evergreen inclusions.
I'm torn between 2-3 colour, 3 Colour doesn't exclude them from throwing good 2 colour designs in and there is always a need for more 3 colour generals.
My other thought would be this, rather then pitch colours etc, what Deck Types do you want to see.
For instance a RB steal things deck would be a great place to see Dak Fayden show up as a General. There was also the Bolas Henchman in RGB that it be cool for a Temur/Norse feel deck
As a tie into Zendikar I would be interested in an "Allies" deck with a Legendary Ally, Feels Like it would need to be 5 colour.
They main thing is you don't really want the legendary ally to feel like a Silver Queen or Overlord i.e. greater then then other allies.
Maybe a kinda of Gandalf type figure, Colourless with coloured activations that help you put your team together and equip and protect them but not
actually be a threat.
A cool alternative would be if the commander was a actually the monster that your party is fighting, you give an opponent the monster and get a bonus to casting / buffing allies.

Legendary Creature - Human Ally
Whenever ~ or another Ally enters the battlefield under your control, choose one -
* You gain life equal to the number of Allies you control.
* Draw a card for each Ally you control.
* Non-Ally creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn for each Ally you control.
* ~ deals damage equal to the number of Allies you control to each opponent.
* Put a +1/+1 counter on each Ally creature you control.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Eh, I'm hoping one of the decks will be 5 color, and have something along these lines:
Mirror, False Leader(2/W)(2/U)(2/B)(2/R)(2/G) Legendary Artifact Enchantment Creature - Shapeshifter
Indestructible, Hexproof
When Mirror, False Leader enters the battlefield, choose a creature type. Mirror, False Leader is the chosen creature type in addition to it's other types.
Other creatures of the chosen type get +1/+2. 4/4
That way there would be a generic commander for any sort of future tribal decks for tribes that don't have a commander or have one not quite in the right colors for your deck. Particularly essential is the ability to be any creature type (benefiting from tribal bonuses), and every color identity, which was why I used the (2/W) sort of mana, but I suppose you could use phyrexian mana, or colorless with abilities in every color activated costs.

There's no way all of that could fit on the type line. Also if you want it to fit all tribal decks you need the Changeling keyword so that it is all creature types. But I get what your looking for and I dig it. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried some new gimmick this year. First came using the commander tax then walkers that can be commanders. Next? Are we going to make Genju of the Realm-esque cards into commanders?
