So, Since Hixus (Gideon's mentor on Theros) was spoiled, it seems reasonable that the other planeswalkers in the set will have at least one corresponding legendary creature. I will not even begin to speculate on Jace's, Chandra's, or Nissa's legends, but Liliana's story already has two feasible options to include (3 if you count her brother, Josu): The Raven Man, and the demon Kothophed.
Now, I believe it will be the Raven Man, but Kothophed has merit as well - WotC seems to like finishing cycles when appropriate, and since Kothophed is dead, it would appeal to reason that this is the best chance to print the demon. Besides, The Raven Man might not even be dead, and his mysterious role in Lili's story might be recurring even now.
Anyway, that's my thoughts on the matter. What do you think about these options? Is there a better option? If we are lucky, might we get TWO legendary creatures for each walker (not counting the walker themselves)? ...Okay, that last bit seems baseless, but carry on.
WotC did say this core set would have the highest amount of new cards in it, as well as many cards to relate to the 'walkers stories. We could very well see two legendaries for each walker. However, since it's more probable we're only going to see one, I have to say the Raven Man as well. Not even mentioning that she has ravens in the forefront of her new creature art, two other legendaries in the set are going to be mentor style characters as well-Hixus and Jace's mentor. It seems likely they'll make a mentor character for each planeswalker, and Raven Man could fit nicely for Liliana. Better than her brother or Kothophed, anyways.
If Hixus is anything to go by then the PW's associated legend its someone they are close with meaning Josu should be Lilianas. We have to remember that PW's sparks ignite under emotional stress. In Gideons case Hixus is probably dying in a very horrid one-sided battle and Gideon calls to Heilod, and Heilod being the fart-hat he is doesn't bother to lend aid causing Gideons spark to ignite. Even if Lilianas spark ignites in a loseing confrontation with the Raven Man, the reason is because she trying to avenge her brother getting poisoned and turned into a zombie. Liliana was an oldwalker and only had to barter with the four demons to keep her youth and immortality long after her spark ignited, so Kothophed has absolutely nothing to do with Liliana becoming a planeswalker. Plus Kothoped can be printed in supplemental sets like planechase and commander since those aren't restricted in what they can print.

Oh man, being the greedy walker that I am I'd like to see a card for all three. If I wagered a guess I'd actually think the Raven Man is the most fitting, as his meddling is what send Lilianna on the path we know her for, but who says there won't be two cards a cycle? We know that we'll see two planes per walker so a mentor before and an encounter after seem equally likely. The raven man and the first demon lili makes a deal with. Sorry Josu, I want you to have a card too but your role is kind of already filled by Lili's flip trigger.
Is it at all possible for the Raven Man to be a Planeswalker? I mean, with him manipulating her as he does I was kinda hoping we could expect him to be a future B Planeswalker....

I'd love a Josu card, though I don't think he would be mono-Black. Maybe if there's a cycle of Legendary creatures that are in their respectful PLaneswalker's story but are not in that Planeswalker's mono-color.
I wouldn't be surprised if we get two (non DFC) legendary creatures per colour: One from the planeswalker's home plane and the other from the first-visit plane. This way we'd get both the raven man (or Liliana's brother if the raven man turns out to be a planeswalker) and Kothophed.
Then again, this is just speculation on my part, but in a story-driven set like this, I think they really should have more legendary creatures than usual.

I think the Raven Man has definitely planeswalking capabilities even if he is not a planeswalker himself.
Liliana met him the first time on her homeplane where he set her on her path. Then she meets him again when she revives an elder to question him about the Chain Veil.
That must have been almost 200 years between their meetings and on different planes.
The Raven Man is definitely not a random, normal guy. That is for sure.
I'm hopeful that all of the legendaries will be their mentor figures. If that's the case, I think it's pretty easy to speculate that Chandra's will be Mother Luti, from Keral Keep, and Jace's being Alhammarret, the mage his father apprenticed him to. It's worth noting that both of these mentors, like Hixus, knew about planeswalking, and, in Mother Luti's case, it was from their own mentor figure. Using this pattern, Liliana actually seems like her legendary might be Lady Ana, but I'm not willing to make any strong assertions. I just like the symmetry of it all.

What about Jaya Ballard? I thought Chandra was tutored by her? Then again, Jaya's a walker herself, so she wouldn't likely be printed as a creature card nowadays.
I can definitely get behind the idea of two Legends for each 'Walker, one from their home plane and one from the first visit. That said, no-one said both Legends had to be the same colors as the Walkers themselves. If Jace's first walk is to Ravnica, then that could be a chance for a new, better Emmara Tandris.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

No, Jaya founded the monastery she trains at, but died before Chandra ever got there. Mother Luti, I think, was knew Jaya, and that's why she recognized Chandra's planeswalking potential. The parallels with Gideon's relationship to Hixus are what push me to think that this might be her Legendary.

Like I said in the other, more general thread about this, I'm pretty sure the Raven man is a walker and Josu is just a tool for Lili's ascension. He could have been any number of things and doesn't need a card. Not to mention he's already on Liliana, Heretical Healer. The dieing creature/zombie token is Josu. I think it will be one of her demons. seeing as Griz is dead and the other two have yet to be identified this is the best opportunity to print Kothophed.
Edit: That is, of course, if they don't decide to do something stupid like make another crappy Griselbrand to mirror the newer crappy Avacyn.
Gideon: Hixus
Jace: Alhammaret
Liliana: The Raven Man
Chandra: Maybe Mother Luti, but I doubt it because she had already 'walked at that point. Maybe the woman she delivered the AEther to in the UR, or her dad? Or --- plot twist --- the army captain who captured her...
