In the art for the KTK fetches, they all feature skeletons of dragons, but since these are the same locations in the past, wouldn't they show dragons that are alive? Since we got refuges with new art I think we'll see new art for the trilands too.
I think most people believe that zendikar fetches are most likely going to be in Dragons of Tarkir if nothing else. Theres no way they would print them in a nonstandard set because it would be pointless and wouldn't kill the price which is the entire point of reprinting them.

It is EXPLICITLY said in the article that informs us about the lifelands and fetches in FRF boosters that the fetches are the KTK versions, down to the set symbol.

Yeah, I didn't see that part until after I made this thread. It's really lame that they aren't printing the fetches with new art.

Am I the only one who thinks that it will/would be weird to have huge dragons in the art on lands? I love it for Ugin's Fate alternate art fetches because they will be rare and special, but I really don't like the idea of enemy fetches with prominent dragons in DTK.
And yes, I agree with the popular notion that enemy fetches will be in the third set of this block.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
I've mentioned this a few times,
but I suspect that, if "Dragon Fetches" exist,
they are in the Ugin's Fate booster for the FRF prerelease.
Your idea doesn't work. The Ugin'Fate booster only has some cards from FRF and alt art cards that where in KTK. For the enemy fetches to show up in said booster they'd have to be in FRF, which the number crunch is showing as not really possible. Plus FRF drafts with DOT, and if you belive enemy fetchs are in DOT the only place the would show up earlier would be FRF. You'd just have sensibly answer youself this one thing, why would Wizards put them in an incredibly short run one-off event booster instead of a booster from a set that drafts with it where it would serve the exact same purpose plus more?

I think what Empathogen means by "Dragon Fetches" is allied fetchlands depicting living dragons as opposed to the bones seen on the Khans versions. If that does happen, yeesh, imagine the price tags...
I second the "Ugin's Fate" idea. As for enemy fetches, I've never been convinced we're going to see them in this block. I think they'll appear in Return to Zendikar, which I have pegged as the first high-profile return plane to start off the new block paradigm.

Welp, they didn't appear in Ugin's Fate boosters. Do you think we'll get alternate art allied fetches in DTK? I would prefer that they just change the art so they don't have the dragon skeletons instead of adding a dragon to each of them. If dragons were featured on the fetches then people might be confused and think they're creature cards by looking at the art.

This is similar to how Dragon's Maze had all 10 fetches, but with the old expansion symbols. You will not be able to differentiate them.
I think I like this move, as it will decrease prices for lands, which is a major restriction in magic.
