I predict that after khans of tarkir block and the last core set we will be visiting return to zendikar in the next 1-3 blocks.
I cite the ridiculous amounts Zendikar nostalgia in the new commander 2014 set both new cards and reprints. This block is probably the most represented and stands out the most as well. I mean it just might be the deck makers bias, but they certainly liked zendikar.
They might even do it in the first block after the core set, just to hype the set structure, though i would prefer they use another block as a guinea pig, since how the first 2 block set is going to have to share standard with KTK and the core set, it is going to be clunky and funky.
Also the storylines in magic seem to be leading up to the big clash as well, jace is worried about the eldrazi, no idea what bolas is planning, nut i doubt he doesn't know about the eldrazi and the coalition of PWs gathering to defeat it, i also wouldn't be surprised if he lends a hand (has a scheme involving this). Ugin, sarckhan and sorin also seem very concerned. Nissa is awol not exactly sure where, but she definately wants to save her home, kiora is off recruiting sea monsters for the fight. Who else?
I wouldn't even mind if they made solving this conflict Span blocks, it certainly is a conflict worth savoring, plus there is going to be a lot of iconic walkers when they do end up facing them.
