The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!
*crawl crawl*
Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
Maybe a functional reprint of Serum Visions? What modern decks would want more than 4 visions?
Storm, Ad Nauseam and All-In Twin.
Right now in Modern if you want 4 Serum Visions you'll play that, then if you want even more cantrips you have to settle for Sleight of Hand. Between Visions and Sleight, Visions is the better card. Decks that are playing Sleight of Hand now would drop them for 5th to 8th Visions immediately.
He said something like when talking about courser of kruphix soo i could see it being a 'reprint' with an update:
Like instead of eletrolize we get a RU : deals 2 damage divided among up to two creatures/ players then scry 2 .
It could be Lightning Helix. The devs said they held it back from ISD-RTR standard because of Snappy, but now that he's gone... then again, Boros Burn would have a dearth of quality burn at their disposal.
For LSV to say something like this is an obvious bait. Preordain is probably the only good guess any of us have. *EDIT* Actually now that I think about it, Remand seems like the better guess.

Psssst- "dearth" means the opposite of what you think it does
For the reasons you state, Lightning Helix seems very unlikely to me. Mortify would make a bit more sense, but we already know our WB Uncommon
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
Melek, Izzet Paragon
Oona, Queen of the Fae
Bruna, Light of Alabaster
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
Rhys the Redeemed
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Sen Triplets
The Mimeoplasm WUBRGSliver OverlordGRBUW WUBRGSliver Hivelord(Superfriends)GRBUW
He isn't going to preview a card that they already spoiled.
Gods make this be right
I didn't play Standard at the time, was Gelatinous Genesis an important card?
fringe , very fringe....
yeah this isn t the spoiler
So what other cards could it be? I am still hoping for Preordain, though I accept that it probably isn't it. It could be Lightning Helix, but I doubt that too.
To be honest, I have thought about this long and hard. Here is what I think it could be...
Oblivion Ring- It is LSV's iconic card! Yes we do have D Sphere but other non uw deck do not have anything like it really. They were both legal together a bit last format, so I don't think it would be anything to be afraid of.
Wall of Denial/Wall of Omens- LSV was a big proponent of Wall of Denial when it was around, and they both were very impactful during their times in standard.
Remand- Remand did not see a reprint in MM, so it is up near the top of my list. I think it would be fine in this current format.
Preordain/Serum Visions- My money would be on Serum Visions if anything, but I am doubtful of either reprint.
2 cmc ramp spell- Something like a rampant growth or explore. Heck maybe even Cultivate
My money is on some kind of O-Ring or Wall reprint. Potentially Earthquake as well.
I would be a bit surprised if there isn't a scry cantrip somewhere in the block. A watered-down version of Preordain seems more likely than the card itself. Maybe an Opt reprint, as some people were suggesting.
Serum visions! !!!!!!! bring it! Needs a reprint fits in set reprint it!
Sadly, Serum Visions is impossible based on the number crunch. Preordain is possible but Wizards reprinting a card that is banned in Modern strikes me as odd. I would put my money on Opt with updated text saying "Scry 1, then draw a card."
EDIT: My actual guess is Standstill for no other fact than it would be hilarious.
A cantrip would make sense, since it's the one obvious scry piece that's missing from the set. I've advocated for Opt before, since I think it's a very good middle ground in power level for Modern.
That said, I don't think they'll give LSV two direct reprints in a row. It will almost certainly a powerful control tool (sadly no elves on Theros), since he seems to be fond of this one in a way he isn't for Mana Confluence.

Printing a card that's banned in modern strikes me as weird, but I can't think of a good reason why it wouldn't happen.
Lord of Atlantis would be great for the set. It would probably see Standard play simply because of the 2 blue mana (and Mutavault) and it would have great flavor. I somehow doubt that they'd reprint Namor though. (please let me be wrong Wizards)

Seems unlikely, this set already had Chained to the Rocks.

Big Johnny.
That is all.

We already have something partly similar in Gaze of Granite (except it hits planeswalkers and must be used immediately as a sorcery).
Just reprint Brainstorm!

I'd agree if it wasn't just reprinted.
It doesn't fit in the set.
Storm, Ad Nauseum, All-In Twin, and a huge amount of fringe combo decks.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.

Control needs more love.

Why would a Preordain reprint be odd?
