I'm still thinking of what cards were missing from MMA that could be in this set. Outside of the fetches, everything else is not nearly popular enough to warrant a printing, or has a mechanic that isn't in Theros. A watered down Serum Visions seems likely. If it were Brainstorm, though, I think I'd die of happiness right there.
If it were Brainstorm I might try to play standard again.

"I'd say this about guarantees that it won't be up till this Friday, but considering the current track record, the ETA is now probably two weeks after the set has been out."

New evidence supporting Deed being brought back is due to how the designers outlined how non creature and non aura enchantments would be in Journey to Nyx. This supports theory but also they would want a wrath effect for when verdict, mizzium, and gaze rotates. Pernicious Deed fits in the number crunch.
Balls! I didn't think about that. They would have to be the Onslaught(?) fetches though.

In the quote, LSV writes "welcome back an old favorite". That sounds to me as if it is an exact reprint, so not a tuned down version of something. So not a Preordain or Serum Visions with scry 1 for example.
I also do not believe Lord of Atlantis has a huge chance of being reprinted in a standard set, as it has the "Other merfolk" wording, not the modern "Other merfolk you control" version.

But if Brainstorm was reprinted, we couldn't get fetchland reprints until it rotated out.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
