Based on the following: "I'm excited to see more of Journey into Nyx and am ready to welcome back an old favorite (and very impactful card) in my preview for this column next week!"
My first reaction is identifying the phrase used (very impactful) and then look at "old favorite". When we think of cards that are very impactful we look at the common denominators which have been the following:
Skullclamp
Pernicious Deed
Tinker
Brainstorm
Counterspell
Jace the Mindsculptor
Bloodbraid Elf
Mirari's Wake
I find that not all of the above have been high impact cards, but if you look at metagames in Standard and other formats following these cards the biggest changers were Bloodbraid, Jace, Wake, Deed, Tinker, and Skullclamp. So why do I bring these up you may ask? We are looking at a set that has a focus when it comes to flavor on enchantments. WOTC tries to avoid going off course of the flavor, and we are also in a set where both UG, RU, RW, BG, and BW all get there gods. This is less important but Black Green is getting some goodies and since Gaze of Granite, and Abrupt Decay are rotating, why not look at printing the newest toy for them.
So when you look at the current spoiler we can easily eliminate Wake from being back based on the new Green flash enchantment that fits perfectly. The cycle all reminds me of past cards like Gratuitous Violence for the red one. When it comes to where I am going with this I am saying I think the most logically and possibly best decision is to bring back Pernicious Deed. It fits multiple rules:
1. Format changing
2. Old Favorite
3. Highly Impactful
4. Fits the flavor of Nyx
5. Is an enchantment
While many people think I am going deep into thinking that the return of The Rock's prized board wipe would ever come back into Standard let alone in a set now. I think the above rules fit perfectly and it seems like WOTC is really trying to push people into modern which this would be the first step to really push all the Standard players into it.
I know this is a very crazy speculation but if that indeed is the fact and I hope it is, I will be very happy. I think Journey to Nyx will be the first set that really brings us back to the good old days. So it seems from the spoiler currently.

Please everyone let me know what you think
I doubt there will be two BG rares. BNG only had the gods in their respective gold slots (plus Kiora). Same reason for no Mirari's Wake (also, Mirari isn't on this plane).
The rest of your list is just absurd, of course.

On MTGO as Protoman.
On 7/14/10, broke 1900 mark! <3 ROE.
You are overreaching a great deal. Basically none of those are re-printable for a number of reasons, not the least of which is balance. Mirari is block specific, cascade isn't in the set, coming back, Jace already exists, Skullclamp isn't ever going to be see standard again.
It's likely a playable durdly value card like Electrolyze, Explore, Mana Leak, Faith's Fetters, Preordain, or Spreading Seas. Something like that.
The only card you listed I could remotely see is a new Pernicious Deed with "non-land permanents" or "non-enchantment permanents", something like that.

Could the black flash enchantment be this? They can't kill enchantments and Deed is a pretty black effect.

They're pretty adamant on Black not being able to take out noncreature Enchantments or Artifacts,
so I'd wager that's very unlikely.
Pernicious Deed is amusingly ridiculous.
Pestilence seems more likely, but that's disgustingly enabling for mono-B.

I am really hoping for another Birds of Paradise reprint. Green is extremely desperate for a 1 drop mana dork that actually helps with fixing. The card will also make bestow actually useful.

I'd hoping for Utopia Sprawl or Wild Growth instead. They are much more helpful for the possible enchantment-based decks than a normal manadork. They'd also help with the new Heartbeat deck.
Not to be a parade-rainer,
but isn't it rather unlikely they'll reprint a card that's banned in Modern here?
I realize it's a flavor home run,
but they seem too cautious for something like that.
Wild Growth would be ridiculously welcome in Modern Foil

Just because a card is broken in one format doesn't mean that it is broken in another format. Look at DRS. Preordain would be amazingly powerful (Thoughtseize-level powerful). But I think that the current meta could do well with it, especially since it would allow for a Young Pyromancer/Spellheart Chimera tempo deck and fill out the types of decks in Standard (We currently have midrange, aggro, control, and ramp. Combo is sort of coming with JOU. We just don't have a tempo deck.).
Agreed with both. But I really want Wild Growth to be reprinted now. Monogreen Devotion would get better and Heartbeat and Enchantress would be strong in Standard.
Whatever it is, I hope it is along the lines of Thoughtseize or Mutavault or even that Remand reprint we got in the recent dueldeck. In fact, all three of those were pegged as top contenders for a reprint due to their exclusion in Modern Masters, so what else was noticeably absent from Modern Masters that is in desperate need of a reprint AND would fit in Theros just fine?

Serum Visions, but that doesn't fit in the name and number crunch. Damnation, but they aren't going to make 2 black sweepers in the same set. I can't think of anything other than those 2 that would fit and needs a reprint. So I am going with something for Standard, which is why I think that Utopia Sprawl, Wild Growth, Or Preordain seeing a reprint. Most likely Preordain, as it was much more impactful than the other 2 were.
I'd guess it's Mortify. Though it does happen occasionally outside of Core sets, I thought Wizards prefers the deck defining cards to be new ideas rather than putting the power into already used cards. Mortify is strong, but not deck defining.
For LSV to say something like this is an obvious bait. Preordain is probably the only good guess any of us have. *EDIT* Actually now that I think about it, Remand seems like the better guess.
Preordain is a poor guess. They wouldn't print a card that is banned in modern in standard. I just don't see it happening. Unless of course, they plan to unban it with the reprinting.
What about living death? I don't know if it fits the name & number crunch. I always liked that card and would love some new art for it. Not sure it is an old favorite or impactful card though. Seems like it could kind of fit with the returned.
