For those you saying "It doesn't even lookURG Here my counterargument.
seriously though I'm seriously getting tired of people who think that if the card isn't a explosion of colors of the card CI then It doesnt make sense. I think the more subtle touches make for a more believable piece of art and conveys alot more then "LOOK AT ME I"M A NEON BLUE SIGN, SEE HOW MAGICAL I AM"
His UGR to me.
His a expert in nature magic (which is normally on blue with water, ice and air, red with lighting, earth and fire magic and in green with tornados and plants).
A monkey-man feels kind RG. And inteligent/manipulative monkey goes to the wedge.
The above post is pretty good in describe it. Another "blue point" is how 'civilized' his cloth is, in contrast with his hair looks. His using pretty much the kind of garment blue wizards normally use (Archeomancer, Azure Mage, Builer of Wills, Master of the Unreal, Rummaging Wizard). Heavy leathers, metal buttoms, boots, etc...
Not much to add except I absolutely love this guy's DotP deck.
With a decklist like that, it's not hard, really at all, to believe he is a devotee of Bolas. Very controlly, very powerful, and very..oppressive and dominating.
Including Plow Unders are just straight up AWESOME. Very Bolas-y.
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
Why does Bolas seem to hire borderline hobos to do his bidding? Enlist someone with a bit more high class.. I hate the look of this guy.
Last time he did that he ended up with a Civil war from what I remember.
The only reasons to ally with Bolas are for 1) Power and 2) You're crazy.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Getting kind of sick of everyone crying about how the color of clothing in card art isn't right because it's a black/blue/green/red/white card. I hope wotc prints a white/blue card where the guy is wearing red and blue clothing just to piss people off.
Yea no kidding. Jace 4.0 has red in it... He's mono colored and clothing means nothing.... There's freaking rocks and cold weather.... I'd use leather too. It's the primal instinct that shows the green. It's actually nice art.
Would the presence of a three-color wedge walker in a block indicate a three-color wedge theme in that block?
Meaning three-color wedge legendary creatures (i.e. commanders)?
I hope that in 2-3 years and with 10 more planeswalkers introduced there will be a 'Clash of the Walkers' block with Bolas and his lackeys against the whole multiverse defended by all the other planeswalkers.
Masterplan of WotC, you are exposed!
That would be epic. Especially if a walker could call another one to the battlefield.
The key phrase is "That's pretty much all I can give away about this guy without dropping a bunch of spoilers on you." a bunch of spoilers implies there is more Ramaz to come.
I don't think followups implying either a card, or other lore appearences is too much of a jump.
Case in point. Sarkan Vol atleast had the decency to have the colour on his armour. This guy is just all leathered up, ready to go Rakdos clubbin'.
rakdos clubbing, of course, being more about dropping beatings, not beats.
Razing, not raving.
Large blades protruding from unsuspecting flesh, not roofies

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
In the same way you can tell someone is from the XVIII century because he is arroused by ankles, you can tell someone is from USA because he feels nipples disturbing.

Tezzeret is the guy . He only do the job for bolas cause he ( Tezz) is a opportunistic guy and has desire power wich some times he can get on his biddings ( New Phyrexia ).
more high class planeswalker minions ==== more trouble .

Ugh, I can't stand that matte painting. Usually painted-over scenes look pretty compelling, but this obviously had too little work done on it to make the styles blend. It looks like someone just started drawing on a photo with little regard for textures.
Description says he had little time to work on it, so I guess that's fair enough, but I can't say I like the outcome.
And I do want to say that if we get a UGR walker, I hope it isn't this madman. Being my favorite 3-color combo, I'd like something a little more interesting than "Mad servant of bolas that destroys everything." Or maybe that is interesting, but not to me.
Also from what I have picked up Kiora was more "we need a face for this UG deck" where as Ramaz is the antigonist for Chandra's story arc.
I think they've put more thought into where this is going long term. I think it's very likely that Kaldheim is more creatively fleshed out that some other Planes that we know about.
Honestly I think they are very aware of the need to align the DOTP experience with the Coreset and ongoing stories.
My question is can we now expect the next 4 coresets to be character focused?
His name is Ramaz, and he's an agent of Nicol Bolas.
I find Ramaz to be fairly awesome, but why must he be in league with Bolas? Already, both Sarkhan and Tezzerent are allied with Bolas, although both of their allegiances seem to be tenuous at best, so I was hoping for another major antagonist (i.e., another "big bad") who had no connection to Bolas or the other two major antagonists of the story (the Eldrazi and the Phyrexians).
Also, how is he blue? His image certainly looks to be red, and possibly green, and maybe even black, but certainly not blue.

In Personality he is manipulative.
For exemple:
He says that a Dragon told hin to lead Chandra to Zendikar ( Its probably true that it was Nicol Bolas that told hin to do that ). He fight her before telling her this. Also ... what he gets from duing soo ( saying about the scroll to chandra).
Saying for sure that he is a minion of bolas is wrong right now
From the wiki:
Ramaz is a barbaric planeswalker and the being responsible for manipulating Chandra Nalaar into stealing the Dragon Scroll. He is capable of wielding red, blue, and green mana.
If we get him it wont be with that Art. The Art itself is good, but doesn't fit a card. The look in general actually catches the three colors of this walker pretty well, I think. There's a certain simian wild-man aspect, but not a whole lot of blue going on.

Cyme we inne frið, fram the grip of deaþ to lif inne ðis smylte land.
I would like to point out as a storyline nerd that WoTC ignored Nicol Bolas throughout the RtR storyline-- so it's likely that he has some influence over the events bound to take place on Theros. Assuming there are 'Gods' on Theros, one can safely jump to the speculation Bolas has interest in reattaining his Godhood thru means available to him on the plane, and thus possible speculation of his agents is not entirely baseless.
Phyrexians don't show up here, Eldrazi won't likely show up here. So we're bound to have another influenced Bolas scheme running amuck

Not a big fan of the art, but not because of colors of Magic. Apart from that, someone mentioned Kiora. I'm fully expecting to see her in Theros block. She summons giant sea monsters. That's kind of going to be happening in Theros. Just sayin'.
Yeah, I really hope I pull a Kiora when I'm kraken open Theros packs.

Why was Nissa printed?
