Actually, I think this gets to the theme being hinted at: Stuff matters. There are a number of cards that trigger when other things happen, more than it seems like we usually have. I think that's the theme we're heading towards. It's a little more free form than just enchantments (or playing spells, or artifacts, or playing lands) matters, but still shares mechanical space.
There's clearly a mana matters theme, since there isn't a single non-land that doesn't require mana so far.
Round 15? It was when Josh Utter-Leyton played a Legion Loyalist and Zac pointed out that it specifies "creature token" and so "enchantment token" is unaffected.
:U
I Would rather say that RTR is The Enchantment sub-themed block and innistrad was the block between a artfact and a Enchantment theme due to the all the hate like a hate block of these 2 Standard seasons

But we're par for the course when it comes to the number of cards that require mana, whereas we seem to be above the curve with trigger-based cards.
Are we? Only 74 cards have been revealed so far, 20 of which are land. I'd like to see the data that supports your conclusion.

I missed it when it was live, but here's the video: http://youtu.be/6x1ozkG8tSQ?t=15m24s
It's pretty awkward and Rashad asks Zac if he's spoiling something. I think you all may be on to something...

Actually, that kind of speculation is completely forgettable. Aside from some wishful thinking there is nothing to substantiate those rumors.
