Im talking about just before the emblems he says there is still 1 more token to be reveled but they are going to wait for its card to be reveled first. Seems like a mythic card and to me it seems like chandra.
I'm guessing it's a fairly unique token since they already showed off all the usual suspects (2/2 Zombie, 3/3 Beast, etc.). There's also the possibility, though, that it's something made by an existing card that would be a dead giveaway for that card, like a Pentavite.
Perhaps the last token isn't a creature at all.
Maybe Chandra will have an ability to create an artifact token with " R sacrifice Chandra's Bauble : deal 2 damage to target creature or player".
And that type of ability could fit the criteria of being something new, which everyone seems to suspect Chandra will do.
I am surprised she was not revealed today with the launching of DotP. Hope we see her soon. No blue slivers. Well, can easily say ill be picking up singles for this set, but what else is new with core sets.
All pretty bad cards, but when you put them together and make them repeatable....
this wont happen because all of the abilities have been seen on red cards before. and also this walker would be horrible. Not being able to make any of the decisions yourself makes every ability on this card suck.
I'm really hoping for a card like this
Chandra, Pyromaster 1RR
{+1} 2 damage to each player
{0} Search your deck for a card named Chandra's Phoenix and put it into the battlefield.
{-3} Put 2 3/1 Elemental tokens into play
{-6} Chandra becomes a 6/6 Flying Trample haste Phoenix creature with when this creature dies deal 6 damage to any number of target creatures and or players.
Starting loyalty (2 or 3) leaning towards 2 just to make it more balanced.
So as the game goes on she becomes more useful and she can protect herself. this would be a more then awesome walker for red.

So basically with this you're running a deck with 4 chandra's phoenix and 4 chandra's phoenix +++ because this is the same cmc as the phoenix and fills the same role and better every time you cast it because you can always zero it to get a phoenix and still have it around. Then you tack on a sulfuric vortex ability minus the life gain part and it's still for the same cmc as a phoenix...seems like a 0% chance of anything at all like this getting printed under 5cmc and I doubt they are making another high cost chandra.
Have a helicopter drop you off out front. Light your cigar with a small Indonesian boy holding a black lotus. Then bust out a craw wurm deck with no sleeves. Raw dog shuffle, loose terribly, flip the table, leave in a hovercraft.
She'll never cost two. They learned their lesson with Tibalt.
She'll also not have 4 abilities. I'm sorry, but 4 ability walkers have proved to be format-warping. They do too much for too little, and the same goes for Planeswalkers in general, regardless of cost.
She won't turn into things. She won't tutor for things. She won't flashback things. She won't reanimate things. She won't pump things. These are the things she will not do, because while I dearly love Chandra, she's not intelligent. She's just a crazy, lonely girl that likes fire.
I hope for the sake of Red that she won't play the Token poop game because that's just disappointing: I'd much rather her +1 be a ping and her -1 be a Lightning Bolt, and then have more burn for her third. She's good at burning things, let her burn things.
She'll never cost two. They learned their lesson with Tibalt.
She could still, though I doubt it in a core set. The more important lesson from Tibalt was to not make planeswalkers feel like they have to harm you first to make any reasonable impact. There could be another two mana walker in the future, but it would have to have at least one ability that you wanted to use every turn (Chandra 1.0's +1, for example), and possibly two. Even if small, it should still feel like a spell that makes a splash when you play it.
I don't think the 4 ability planeswalker is off the table, either. Replace the 0 ability of Jace with something niche like "0: Look at the top 5 cards of your library, then put them back in any order", and suddenly it isn't half the format warping monster it was.
She'll also not have 4 abilities. I'm sorry, but 4 ability walkers have proved to be format-warping. They do too much for too little, and the same goes for Planeswalkers in general, regardless of cost.
Just kidding, I know what you mean. Jacey-Boy did bend a few formats over and give them the business.
I really wish they would give Red a push in some interesting directions, though. A multifaceted walker would be a great start.

That's pretty much Red's entire schtick now. Need to get rid of something? Burn it! Need to draw cards? No way, just burn more! Want to disrupt your opponent's manabase? Nah...you just wanna burn! Want a solid hatebear that prevents your opponent from doing broken things? Sure...we'll just burn them everytime they do something totally broken! Want to interact with the stack? Of course you do....through burn!
The thing about burn is it can be use offensively or defensively. You can knock your opponent's life down with it or destroy blockers that get in the way of your creatures.
And yeah, Red is good at burn. It should stick to its strengths, which admittedly aren't many at the moment.

while i agree with wanting a burn theme in general, do you really think we will get lightning bolt as a -1 on a 3CMC walker whilst its -2 on a 4CMC walker already?

honestly yes.
but only if she costs RRR....MAYBE 1RR

Don't forget about making things unable to block. HUGE piece of the color pie there.

I honestly believe this card would be very good. I know it won't happen, but I love this card.
Thanks. I personally have always liked those cards, even recognizing that they are all pretty bad. I just think putting them on a planeswalker would be a great way to "fix" the effects.
-2: discard an instant or sorcery card, if you do, search your library...

Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
A instant sorcery tutor would be great and I feel easily balanced.
I hope she isn't creature based at least not creature dependent making tokens is ok I guess. creatures is Domri's design space and I think it wouldn't be good to have two creature based red planeswalkers in standard together they would clash.
Don't forget about making things unable to block. HUGE piece of the color pie there.
Its not Wizards fault that they thought the game would play more like a miniature game or like L5R with 15 minute combat steps full of tricks and shenanigans like False Orders and creature with Banding.
Because Red used to be pretty good at that too. Not as good as white, of course. But it had its moments.
Honestly I still don't understand why White is the board wipe color and not red. I guess I get the "a clean slate is a balanced and lawful field" argument...but every art for Wrath of God is just so blatantly red to me. Creatures dying left and right...even the big white ball of light. But red only gets it in the form of cards that still can't deal with Pro Red creatures...
But red also gets "random" as a theme! And coin flips! Unfortunately Wizards has decided to make coin flips "win or lose" instead of "get something decent or win big". I'd love to see a -1 that was like "Do 1 damage to target player. Flip a coin. If you get heads, do 1 damage to target creature or player."
But Chandra isn't that "random" and we got our coinflip walker in Dragon's Maze. Because for some reason adding the color of control and stasis makes things more random.
I wouldn't mind them drawing ideas from Chandra Ablaze. She seemed like a step in the direction for her design. The firebrand version was a mix between the first two. I'd like to see a stronger streamlined version of Chandra with more powerful effects. I've been reading about something like Shock or Forked Bolt for a ability would be cool. I'd also like a mini wheel of fortune for her second ability like Ablaze had maybe like Draw three Discard three. Her ultimate usually devolves into "where can I point the flamethrower" so that's cool, but I'd like to see a new spin on a ultimate. I don't think she'll get a koth or a tibalt like ultimate but giving Chandra an emblem say "You get an emblem with Whenever you cast a red spell you may deal 2 damage to target creature or player." Actually make it 1 damage and make it a - ability like sorin lord of innistrad.
She'll also not have 4 abilities. I'm sorry, but 4 ability walkers have proved to be format-warping. They do too much for too little, and the same goes for Planeswalkers in general, regardless of cost.
MaRo has, on a number of occasions, said that four ability planeswalkers are not out of the equation. That said, I surely don't think that a 3CMC Planeswalker is likely to hit four abilities, no matter how much they want to push Chandra.
Well, I'm not really sure how Chandra's going to turn out because all the red walkers have been sub-par compared to the other colors. Maybe WotC will go out on a limb and pull another Sarkhan the Mad, like this:
Chandra, Pyromaster 3RR
Loyalty: 6
-3: Chandra, Pyromaster deals two damage to each creature.
-2: Destroy target non-basic land.
-6: Each players discards their hand and draws seven cards. Chandra, Pyromaster deals X damage to each opponent where X equals the number of cards he or she discarded.
This way, Chandra has powerful abilities, but you'll have almost no way to keep her around, so it kind of balances out, I guess. My thought process here is that she saves you from aggro, beats control, and has a Wheel of Fortune attached for fun, plus damage.
So in short, Chandra can help you with everything, but she won't stick around.
I'm guessing it's a fairly unique token since they already showed off all the usual suspects (2/2 Zombie, 3/3 Beast, etc.). There's also the possibility, though, that it's something made by an existing card that would be a dead giveaway for that card, like a Pentavite.
chandra = 2
ajani = 3
lili = 4
jace = 5
garruk = 6
and she's the "face of the set" or whatever
Maybe Chandra will have an ability to create an artifact token with " R sacrifice Chandra's Bauble : deal 2 damage to target creature or player".
And that type of ability could fit the criteria of being something new, which everyone seems to suspect Chandra will do.
WotC has stated that they aren't going to try making another ≤2 cmc planeswalker any time soon (if ever) due to just how much of a failure Tibalt was.
