It is going to be a R/B 1/1 unleash with no other abilities, that is good by itself. I think you guys are just spoiled from stuff like goblin guide.
1/1 unleash seems like some jank limited common. we're talking about the rakdos power uncommon - it could be on the same level as dryad militant and judge's familiar, which, so far, seem to be nearly constructed staples. at worst it will look like the scavenge 0 card, which is definitely a constructed playable.
Snapcaster was supposed to be red, and R&D wanted it to be red. Tiago Chan insisted on it being blue. If you want to blame Wizards, blame them for giving Invitational winners too much control over the process. I'm really not entirely sure of the reasoning behind letting him choose, since Solemn Simulacrum was designed by Jens Thoren with a mana cost of 2UG.
You are incorrect sir. Maro stated afterward that he wished he had asked tiago chan if they could make the card red, but apparently no one at wizards even considered it

Currently living in Tokyo Japan looking for a good shop near my house. If anyone can help me out please let me know.
It took about 2 weeks for it to start seeing play in Illusions, then it slowly warped that Deck into the very early "Delver deck" with phantasmal bear and merfolk looter Eventually the crappy cards got dropped, equipment was added as was invisible stalker and GoST. The deck continued in this fashion until AVR when WotC decided being the clear best deck in the format wasnt enough and gave it a shot in the arm
That's simply incorrect. The first time a deck with Delver in the maindeck top 16ed a SCG Open was November 11, 2011, over a month after the release of Innistrad.
Yes, but As I said, Todd Abderson was testing with it before that...not seeing play in an SCG top 16 list doesn't mean it wasn't seeing play on mtgo - mtgo moves a lot faster than the scg circuit.

I don't think we should limit ourselves with comments like "it would be better than X card", as two of these one-drop uncommons are already better than other creatures on their colors (Dryad Militant is better than Elite Vanguard and Judge's Familiar better than Zephyr Sprite). If other colors already pushed what they can do, why not these other colors, too?
Still, I don't think we are getting a haste guy with 2+: too similar to Rakdos Shred-Freak.

As much as I would be happy to have them make something insane like 1/1 unleash first strike that is not possible. That is MILES ahead of any other uncommon 1 drop red has ever gotten.

Red was the color of aggressive one drop, once. I don't see why in the phylosophy of the color red shouldn't get aggressive one drops while green, white and black and blue are all getting better 1-drops. Cognitive dissonace zzz
Actually after thinking about it a bit more I suppose if they are trying to push the power of this one drop it is possible that it will have first strike. I made the mistake of thinking about how good first strike is on other creatures, which usually comes from them being great at blocking. Now that I have considered the difference of not being able to block it seems a lot more reasonable.

Nah, Goblin Guide would still be better because of haste.
I can't believe anyone is excited about this card. It is absolutely unplayable. I wouldn't even play her in LIMITED. Easily the worst walker printed since the green elf one. Absolutely terrible.
I dont think we will get the slith mechanic, since we did just get Stromkirk Noble.
The intimidate sounds pretty solid though. I imagine it will be either a human or devil, since neither has tribal synergy implications in either colour.

Then again, tribal effects could used to push a vanilla 1/1 Unleash into playability, seeing as Slitherhead had a relevant creature type. Besides, Goblins in all likelihood aren't going to be a thing in this new Standard unless we get some sick ones in RTR, but making it a goblin could help it see play in older formats, which seems to be a theme with the rest of the set.
That said, if we do see a 1-drop with unleash, I'd like it to have some sort of advantage or reason not to give it unleash, since I sincerely doubt anyone will ever use it for blocking, defeating the purpose of the mechanic. Perhaps a 1/0 unleash with a death trigger? I'm not sure how Wizards would feel about printing a 0 toughness creature, however; it's very unusual design space, especially for an uncommon.

R/B
Rakdos Recruit
Haste
Unleash
1/1
Whoever guessed this first was probably spot on. This is a decent card with roughly the same power level as the others.

Ya that is why I said uncommon, goblin guide is definitely better than that card would be but you have to take into account the rarities.

Diregraf Ghoul. 1 mana 2/2, ETB tapped.
Goblin Guide. 1 mana 2/2 Haste. Drawback.
If we assume that Rakdos1drop is to be better than DG but worse than GG:
We could possibly get:
1/1. Unleash. Intimidate
1/1. Unleash. Whenever ~ deals combat damage to an opponent, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
The intimidate sounds pretty solid though. I imagine it will be either a human or devil, since neither has tribal synergy implications in either colour.

Creature- pushed 1-drop
unleash
When Rakdos Cycle-filler dies, it deals two damage to target creature or player.
1/0
THAT would be pretty powerful without utilizing haste, and it would also make tragic slip much more reliable

wow, that would be better than punishing fire/grove with volrath's stronghold.
I would love to have monoblack punishing fire.
