I really, REALLY hope that the guilds, and especially the promo cards are balanced. Because if one or two guilds are "better" then the others, people will be picking those guilds just for the cards, and not because they actually like the guild, meaning some people may not get the guild pack and promo they want.
On topic, Azorious or Golgari, my two favorite color combinations besides black/blue. I can't wait for the Dimir in Gatecrash.
Its really going to depend on the promo card. Since you can play with it, there will be a guild that will give you the best advantage from the beginning. Anyway, until spoilers i cant be sure. But either Azorius or Golgari.
I plan to go with four friends, and we will each pick a different guild. UB is normally my favorite combination so I'm a little disappointed I will have to wait for gatecrash (and hope they do the prerelease the same way) especially since my other friends all get to draft their favorite guild the first time around. I'll be playing Golgari, since my other friends will be playing the other guilds, which is fine because Golgari is my second favorite, but I still wish they had put Dimir in RTR.

I could always try going to 5 Pre-releases and try all 5 guilds. I could collect the stickers on a shirt so at each progressing pre-release I could confuse people more and more.
For me I have always been a green white player at pre releases and so Selesnya seems to be my cup of tea, but if the new Golgari Mechanic is anything close to dredge, I might just be Golgari.

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
It depends on what the pre-release cards are (I thirst for all 5), but for this set the only builds that interest me are Golgari and Izzet, which seem like the two most popular guilds in the set as is.

Brian Tinsman, Set Designer :?mana::snow::snow:
Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

I will probably go with Azorius, as this is my favorite guild, but it's really hard to tell at this point, since we know nothing of the new mechanics.
I love siding with the underdogs, so maybe I will choose the least popular guild, which, judging by the this poll, is currently Selesnya.
I'm also a little surprised by the results of this poll. I knew that Izzet will be mega popular, but I thought more people liked Rakdos?

Too early to say... My favourite color combination (for limited) is GW, so Selesnya unless the spoilers get me more excited towards another guild.
And there's also that I'm not sure if I'm going to RTR or Gatecrash prerelease. In Gatecrash it's Simic without a shadow of doubt.

Going Golgari for the first prerelease. Then idk after that. Might go Izzet, Azorius for the next ones over that weekend, but it really depends on what my friends are going to play since we need all of the prerelease cards, dice, and stickers
1) My favorite color is red/white, red/blue, red/black, red/green, and red/red.
2) Rakdos was a fun new spin on the concept of evil and chaos.
3) I absolutely have to see what the letter from the guild leader looks like. I'll probably get a glimpse of the others at the prerelease but I imagine Rakdos's will be the funniest.

White/Blue sounds good though. We'll see about the cards though. :3
