As a side note, does anyone have any idea of how this language is written? Obviously, it consists of a single vertical line with symbols, but how would you physically write that? Do you write the symbols and finish with the line? Or, do you have to estimate the length of your sentence and write your line accordingly? Either way seems like quite a bother.
There is a chance the language was not created with the primary intent to write it on a flat surface. Imagine a language that uses a thread with different types of knots forming the "letters". It would always have a central "life line". The written language then would be a transcription of the knots.

Ok here are the basic visual similarities I've noticed that others have also pointed out.
I think this isolates "each", "creature", and "other" as well as whatever is describing the power and toughness modification.
I can't make out "you control" or "your opponents control"...
So compare the similarities between:
"We are perfection made flesh"
"Creatures your opponents control get -2/-2"
There might be a word for flesh/creature that is the same word? And the first word may in fact be some sort of possessive or gender article (perhaps gender in this case being Phyrexian vs non-Phyrexian seeing as male/female is largely unimportant to Phyrexia.... as far as I know)

Savil's post http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=6537451&postcount=128
is extremely useful, but either I'm not following it properly or there are a lot of mistakes in transcription
"Phyrexia", highlighted in Tracebam's post http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=6537252&postcount=119
and seen at the end of the second segment in "If they exist, we must bring Phyrexia's magnificence to them."
is transcribed there as
'X:GD^N*OZ^N`
Reading from the right hand side (i.e. bottom) of that and continuing left/up, clearly N*OZ^N` is approximately correct, but then for some reason we skip from that N* symbol to the N* above it, moving straight onto D^, skipping the two symbols in between the two N*.
Further, the beginning symbol isn't 'X: because that would have the slash going the wrong way.
Savil : Can you please check and revise the work you did on the transcription?
I'll highlight all instances of Phyrexia found (I'm not sure they're same as Trancebam's):
ZL|Z^FFXxN"|X:OT^_LT^_ 'X:L'X:L|'NL|'X:GD^N*X:EN*OZ^N` 'ZEMxN"L'ZNxT^_LX:GXx.

Corrected it.
EDIT: Just now realizing that maybe the key itself is wrong, rather than the transcription...
in fact I'm not sure I see any character like 'X: . Flip X horizontally in the key and that bit is fine...
Yes, the key was wrong - already corrected it in #143
If this is a clearly phonetic language, shouldn't you guys be mapping it back to phonetic writing instead of English letters?
I know the map is currently supposed to define symbols for transcription, not sounds. Still, one might get stuck by that farther down the road.
As soon as someone comes up with a phonetic map, I'll gladly replace my code. In those videos Phyrexian language sounds like a really really bad radio to me and I can't make a thing of it.
The Phyrexian symbol is a complicated issue. It could both be a letter unrelated to the symbol, or strongly related. I don't think that the circle character in the script actually stands for anything other than a phoneme.
That symbol is literally Yawgmoth's name. It's not even Phyrexian, it is Thran.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.

It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Another fact to my theory about plurals by doubling symbols. Compare:
N"E|X:HD^Z"ON"Xx|Z^FFXxN*|M:L_^_^ X:ENxOOZ^N` N^F'ZFA`E'ZEXx.

then the only likeable instance of 'Mirrodin' is at the beginning of sentence:
T D^ H Z^ T^
m r o d n
The similarity between symbols denoting n and m is a good sign, though how 'Mirrodin' can be at the beginning of that sentence is beyond me. But, as I've said, grammar seems nightmarish here anyway.
Also, the word 'Phyrexia' contains D^ ('r') in the middle.

'ZQ| is probably past tense.
Lyzolda, the Blood Witch | Maga, Traitor to Mortals | Mayael the Anima | Rafiq of the Many | Rhys the Redeemed
Sasaya, Oorochi Ascendant | Sygg, River Cutthroat | Thada Adel, Acquisitor | Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
If
then the only likeable instance of 'Mirrodin' is at the beginning of sentence:
The similarity between symbols denoting n and m is a good sign, though how 'Mirrodin' can be at the beginning of that sentence is beyond me. But, as I've said, grammar seems nightmarish here anyway.
Also, the word 'Phyrexia' contains D^ ('r') in the middle.
More on 'world'. Seems like when Phyrexia is used as a noun, it is written as 'Phyrexia world'.
So:
Compare:
~XvGD^N* (~X:GD^N*)('X:GD^N*) - Phyrexian (race); of or belonging to the phyrexian race.
~XvFD^N^ (~:FD^N")(~XvFD^N^) - Phyrexia (plane); the plane of phyrexia.
~XvFD^N* - Phyrexia's (plane) - Belonging to the plane of Phyrexia.

I re-checked the images and I think that each instance of 'Phyrexia(n/s)' has * at the end - it's really hard to tell * from " or ^ on those images.
