Your reasoning and logic are excelent gaztaseven, I agree with you in everything but the abilities you submit seem unlikely. Why? Following the reasoning that the abilities need to be both Red and Green, Red doesnt get land searching. The second ability is more of a wishful thinking really, but I dont believe that land destruction is a good thing in a planeswalker because it means that the two turns after you cast it, you get to destroy 2 lands using his ability and another spell. Since we're talking green here that could happen as early as turn 4 and 5, effectively leaving an opponent with 0 lands at midgame using only 3 cards. Free LD is too dangerous even if restricted to once per turn. The third one I like but is too risky (you might get all your lands wiped) to a not powerful enough effect (unless you have 6+ lands and your opponent 0 blockers) making it a too situational effect for a "big" planeswalker's ability.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
im almost positive the second ability will be a savage twister
+1: target creature gets +1/+1/ gains haste, and trample untill EOT
-X: Deal x damge to all creatures
-6: Gain control of all creatures target player controls, they gain haste untill EOT
alot of you are stuck in hybrid mode, a red green card does NOT have to do stuff that is common with red and green, but could be used in either. the lands becoming creatures has been done in red/green before, see Natural Emergence, so its totally possible.
as for the planeswalkers fury hint, i feel that it is hinting at sarkans personality more than anything. you may say, "well duh, hes RG" but it does let us see what his abilities could be more aligned to. if he is RG, Looks pretty wild and pissed, and Planswalkers fury describes him, expect to see abilities that are more reckless than land searching. i think a monsoon/pyroclasm is a viable ability for him to have, even though chandras ultimate is like a giant flame wave. the fatal frenzy like ability seems viable as well, along with the impromptu raid style effect
We have a few more clues that haven't been mentioned:
1.) The size of each ability line is equal to previous planeswalkers and can't fit more than ~126 characters (See Ajani, the most wordy planeswalker so far).
2.) The image of Sarkhan shows burning/glowing hands, which could imply some sort of direct damage ability.
Given the mad look on his face, the burning hands and the general lack of anything else clue-wise, here goes:
Sarkhan Vol
+1: You may put a 5/3 Legendary Creature token with trample into play named Sarkhan Vol.
-2: Sacrifice a creature. Target player takes damage equal to that creature's power.
-4: Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control for each damage target player has taken this turn.
3 Loyalty
Is there any possibility Vol is Ruel's lost invitational card?
i see similar 5 o'clock shadow, cheekbones, and <ahem> high forehead.
I'd say no. Wizards has stated they won't let people hand in invitational cards in Planeswalker form becuase they're too new and too much work has to go into crafting them. Now having said that, I will admit wizards flip-flops alot so I could see it happening sometime, but I'm not sure if they would do it so soon.

Chris Millar mentions this in his article about Gilder Bairn:
"Um, so, yeah. The planeswalkers. Gilder Bairn allows you to fast-forward right to their "ultimates." Sarkhan Vol works especially well with Gilder Bairn for all I know!" http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/cm130
I'm guessing that his ultimate's cost would be either double or one less than double his starting loyalty.

For all he knows. Which is nothing, since he doesn't work for wizards.
Elspeth "we must fight to protect order and justice!"
Tezzeret "No! he will break all my artifacts and stomp my head!"
Vol "powerful dragon must be brought to heel!"
Ajani "**** this Im outta *planeswalks to lorwyn* wow what hell is this place?"
Little lorwyn goblin "this be the place of bad art and Tribes!!!"
All other Alara planeswalkers "hey where did ajani go???"
I say he will have some burn ability on his first or second power. Some sort of mana or token generation in second or third. Well got to see, me I like something worth playing along side Garruk in my red/green deck.
Um... they did it already, on Spectral Searchlight. Snarfoogle's example is possible a little bit overpowered, but hardly retarded.
Well, i forgot there was cards like that (and i know a lot of cards by memory), but on an artifact, sure, it's alright.but on a planeswalker, that seems a little rediculous to me.
Following the reasoning that the abilities need to be both Red and Green
Actually, that's not necessarily true. We have seen from many gold cards that as long as part of the card is from each colour, then it's ok. So, on a planeswalker, the first ability could be green related, while the second ability is more red related.
A direct damage plus ability would be too much like Chandra, but it could be a good second ability, something like -1 for 2 or 3 damage or something like that.
+1: Add 2 mana in any combination of colors to TARGET PLAYER's mana pool. Play this ability as a mana ability.
That way he could be used as player burn or mana.
The ability is nowhere near as ridiculous as people are claiming, but I can see them lowering it to only one mana. As it stands, it's almost always better than Garruk's +1 ability, and I can't really see them pushing a Planeswalker's power level beyond Garruk for now.
Well, i forgot there was cards like that (and i know a lot of cards by memory), but on an artifact, sure, it's alright.but on a planeswalker, that seems a little rediculous to me.
Uh... So why exactly is it "alright" in a 3cmc artifact which can do it at instant speed for better chances of actually causing manaburn and "rediculous" in a 4cmc planeswalker that can only do it at sorcery speed and can be easily destroyed by combat/direct damage?
I actually like a lot that suggestion. It's very RG-ish. You get to accelerate and you also have a small chance of dealing direct damage to a player, what's not to like?

I, with the revelation that Sarkhan is featured in the art of Form of the Dragon, have come up with a "-N (small or large, depends on this guy's other stuff)" ability. (superbrackets or whatever they're called "{}" indicate something to maybe balance this out to some degree...)
"-N: ~ deals 5 damage to target creature or player. {Your life total becomes 5.}"
and with that, the only "+N" ability, even!
"+N: Until end of turn, creatures without flying cannot attack you."
Obviously I'm just linking it to FotD, but I suppose with the other bit of possibility sparking from Planeswalker's Fury, the small ability could be:
"-N: Target opponent reveals a card at random in his or her hand. ~ deals damage equal to that card's converted mana cost to that player."
And the large ability, well, I guess its either double the PW's Fury effect, or the "-N" FotD effect, with out the drawback...
Sarkhan Vol 2RG
Planeswalker - Sarkhan
+1: Sarkhan Vol becomes a 3/3 green Beast creature with trample until end of turn.
-2: Sarkhan Vol becomes a 5/5 red Dragon creature with flying until your next turn.
-6: Sarkhan Vol becomes a 10/10 red and green Beast Dragon creature with flying and trample. (This effect doesn't end at end of turn.)

Errr...yeah...gotta admit it was kind of disgusting to mention a Planeswalker and a crapwalker in the same speculative discussion. Yet, I agree with you---I could see Vol with an effect like this one.
