I can just see MaRo reading these forums going "They've taken the bait!" and/or "I have taught them well."
I think it makes sense to focus on the cards with new, made-up names, like Nacatl and Boldwyr. They could easily have been made up to fill the necessity for the anagram, right?
I mean look at it from the puzzlemaker's perspective. They have something they want to tell you and some idea of what letters they have. But it's a little back and forth; it has to be.

I was thinking about this as I went through the white cards. I figure that if there is nothing here, at least:
1.We have ruled it out
2.We get a chuckle at the copletely random coincidences (Trousers Almanac).
What I really hope, is that some how, we find something, that turns out to be true, but WOTC didnt plan on. (Hard to prove or disprove I know, but it would be cool.)
But, part of the reason I am 'in' on this thread, is the Cryptic Annelid, and LOR being rumored to be 4 sets long. If both of those are true, then why not be here, and do this? ((Oh yeah, cause its Finals Week.))
Also, I think we should focus more on the Futureshifited cards.

What, that they put an anagram in a card name subliminally?
I want to note that "Muraganda Petroglyphs" can be arranged to say: ANAGRAM GLUT PRODS HYPE. Just sayin.
There seem to be a couple of cards that have Clue in the name (After being anagramed.) Should we spend time to pool all of these clues together?
I think HH had the right idea to focus on the names that have made-up words we haven't heard before. That's the easiest way to make an anagram and I doubt they'd spend too much time on this little project.
I think some of these, while fun, aren't gona turn much up. Anything with a name that you went, yeah I can see how the creative guys named a card about mushrooms phosphorescent feast, it's probally not gona be an angram for anything.
However, Lost Auramancers must be refered to as Trousers Almanac from now on.
ROFLMAO. I nominate that this spoils the theme of the block after Lorwyn:D

Couldn't "Reinvent Tap Con It" also mean "Reinvent Tap Icon T" - With Icon meaning as much as "Symbol" and the "T" standing for the Tapping Symbol?
Maybe we'll get a new Tap Symbol...again
You've missed it altogether. They're bringing back some form of the crooked T, King of All Tap-Symbols. Check it out on the basic land in Revised: Swamp. Version three in particular. So beautiful...

My anecdotal evidence disagrees with yours! EXPLAIN THAT!
Does it mean we may see more licid types in future blocks? who knows... I'm banking on the possibility, but it could be just a silly nod to the confusing "is this a creature or enchantment??" problems with Licid cards.
OK, I think that they just included 'Lorwyn' in Boldwyr Intimidator to cause people to look for Lorwyn-related stuff, and look what I found:
'Admit Bird Trio'
'Timid Bard Trio'
Clearly, the archvillains in Lorwyn are going to be 3 legendary Aven bards, who, apparently, are relatively mild-mannered.

Mystic Speculation looks like it's dying to have an anagram. Speculation is just what we're doing, and it has the word clue as an anagram. So I decided to look for some using Clue: ___, and I did find some interesting ones..

River of Tears refers to a bard in its flavour text, but timid bards doesn't sound like interesting characters...
