Slivers should read: Whenever a player plays Wrath of God, you lose the game.
I hope there will be slivers that cost 1 mana instead of the 2 mana slivers. That would make slivers more powerful, having more options for 1 mana creatures and making the slivers more playable in less colors.

i do agree, i kinda hope that they have a few new slivers and a good deal of reprints. some of the older slivers were totally awsome, crystaline, clot, and muscle from tempest block and brood, shifting, and ward from legions are 2 good examples of what i mean for slivers to be reprinted.
and kami, the azourious sliver would probably be a colorless sliver instead.

Tay, that's not evolution. It's metamorphosis. Evolution means descent with heritable modification – individuals cannot evolve, unless they're Pokemon.

Wow, either of those Doppler slivers could be brutal, especialy the second one. Change some of your slivers into Mussle slivers, then with damage on the stack change them to Essence slivers and gain a million life.
slivers have always had combat oriented abilities. the direct removal ability is very rarely seen. I suggest: whenever a sliver deals combat damage to a player, you may destroy target enchantment or artifact.

I don't know if nom is town or scum. But I'd like to point out this type of behavior is his standard modus operandi.
Court Mafia: Day 1, hatch plan to KILL EVERYONE ELSE IN A SINGLE NIGHT, when the plan only allows him to hit 11 random players, ATTEMPTS TO FIRE ANYHOW (Roleblocked).
In other words....Nom is an impulsive player who doesn't think about planning long-term or listening to others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was town. At all.
Wotc should just reprint all the basic tempest silvers and then the one that turned them all into untargetables. If they can do that, then slivers will be decent again.

indeed, bring back the untargetable flying, first strike +1/+1 regenerating slivers with haste! and maybe the unblockable, uncounterable ones that put more slivers on the field when they deal combat damage to an opponet while you are at it.
And then Slivers shall rule the world... i wonder why they truely haven't by now though... ah well.

Let's play a game. You count all the people killed in God's name, and I'll count all the people killed in Satan's name. Let's see who finishes first.
The problem is, the only really good slivers (in my opinion) are the Crystalline Sliver, Muscle Sliver, Winged Sliver, and, the only newer one, the Plated Sliver. Some of the other old ones like the Clot Sliver and Heart Sliver are pretty decent, too.
Honestly, there are several other creature types that really play as nice as each other as slivers... Soldiers, for example, can get a total of +2/+4, vigalance, first strike, cost one mana less, and two tap to deal two damage to an attacking or blocking creature with a handfull of fun soldier cards between two and four mana... what WotC should do if they really want people to play slivers is to make just a few /really good/ slivers of each color, and basically force people to play a 5 color deck to use them, but actually have it good enough to work.
I love Slivers. They make it so easy to bring out your inner game designer...

People hiss and grunt at Mark Rosewater for the state of the game. Few realize, though, that it is Aaron Forsythe who is directly responsible of the current state of affairs due to negligence as head of Magic R&D and a completely skewed view of the game as a whole.
So next time you want to make an avvy with Rosewater pissing on something, take a deep breath and consider pasting Forsythe's face there instead...
