So orb says there's a gold card. 8BBGG. I'd be willing to bet it's Iname. It'd be nice and elegant. Iname appears 3 times. So do these's words
Blood 3
Chill 3
Death 3
Fire 3
Last 3
Life's 3
Light 3
Order 3
Pure 3
Roar 3
Shape 3
So pick a name from that (or some word that we haven't found yet).
Someone who's actually good at designing cards have a crack at designing it
They already did Iname death aspect and Life aspect, they also wrote a story on it (I remember reading it somewhere, i guess its the minisite at Wizards)
now a card?
Oh well, its gold so i guess its cool

I think assaulting another player should have a range of penalties. (A light slap is a game loss, a kick in the nuts is a DQ, ghetto-stomping someone is a Ban for Life.) There could be article all about it, like "when to mulligan"
Well, I'll be damned, there is a card with 8BBGG. Are there any other gold cards?
I doubt it. I was pretty sure there was exactly 1 gold card which is what made me check though someone had said they'd checked everything. Admittedly I only checked BG because I assumed it was Iname and stopped when i found one (since I don't believe there to be more)
Aspect shows up Zip so just thought I would mention that.
12 mana is alot, and enemy color at that, Wizards considers multicolor a drawback and enemy color alittle more.
For that much I'd like to outright win, or atleast come pretty damn close. Prob is that Tooth is rearing its ugly head so I'm sure it has a comes into play from your hand or Phage clause. That would get rid of one of your Iname.
Maybe nab all the spirits from your deck?
Maybe we can go about this by the story, 4BB + 4GG = 8BBGG so both Iname's.
Black Iname in the short story kills anything it touches and malevolent to boot. Green Iname kind and gives life to things. I also doubt that Life's in its name since it goes quite nicely with Myojin of Life's Web.
So maybe something like........
Iname, Split Personality 8BBGG
When Iname, Split Personality comes into play if you didnt play it from your hand you lose this, the next and the game after that. (jk)
Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play each player may put a creature card from his or her hand into play.
Whenever a creature comes into play, you may destroy target creature.
8/8
Lose does show up 4 times ust thought I'd mention it.
To cost that much, I would imagine the clause is something that would let you put a lot of spirits into play at one time, either from your graveyard (one-sided Bidding) or your hand or possibly even both.
Yeah, for that cost, and considering what the others do... 'When ~ comes into play, search your hand, graveyard, and library for 3 spirit cards, and put them into play. Then shuffle your library.'? 'BBGG: Put a spirit from your hand or graveyard into play.'?
Hmm, '{this} costs 1 less for each card in your hand' much?
Very, very intersting find there! one gold card so far... can anyone confrim this is the only gold card in the set? I did a quick search when the orb went live on monday, for all the color combinations, but nothing as big as 8BBGG !!!

There no reasonable BG, BBG, BBGG, BGG cost in the orb. though it might have an activated ability for each color or just one of a color. regenerate comes to mind. also keep in mind that the name probably appears twice. so maybe a comes into play and a leaves play. or leaves play remove ~this~ and do something. or comes into play and regeneration or some other self-referential ability. I do tend to think there's a "reveal the top 4 cards of your library. Put all Spirit cards revealed in this way into you hand (play?, graveyard?) and the rest on the bottom of your library (graveyard?). so maybe that's one of the triggers.
Hydro - 99% certain there's exactly 1. but I only checked BG and stopped when i found one. Orb gives Z=1. and with iname, BG seemed the place to start.
maybe this card has shinin? there are 12 hits for it, and a suggestion is that it allows you to play a creature from the graveyard (at its casting cost (color and all)) if you have X cards in your hand.
it coule be the 8/8 i heard was in this set, it most likely is though.
the lose thing would be loss of life not "lose the game" I predict a one sided patriachs bidding for spirits. Or possibly even all spirits from graveyard and hand if you play it so no tooth shenanigans. IMHO this will cost too much. I don't care that green has massive acceleration, 12 is a friggin lot. The effect would have to be pretty much game ending for it to see play. It would also have to be a come into play effect to be sweet, graveyard effects would be even slower cos it would have to hit grave and if the effect was statit it would really chap my @$$ to see it get killed the turn after i play it.

'Iname' consists of two characters. The first character usually carries the meaning 'negative' or 'no', while the second one means 'life'.
It's weird, because reading the first character in Chinese, I would say that it means 'whether', although 'negative' is also one of the other meanings of the character.
Whether makes sense as Life Aspect. Because then if you took the green iname and then read black Iname you could get something like "Whether life or no life." Hmmmm... As far as his name, Maybe Iname, Life's Last Light?
Well, if we've got Iname, Life Aspect, and Iname, Death Aspect, then the logical thing would be something along the lines of Iname, Master of Life and Death. (Although, probably better worded.)
BTW, has anyone else noticed that you can now get three copies of this guy in play, without the mirror?
EDIT: How about:
Iname, Master of Life and Death 8BBGG
Legendary Creature- Spirit
If you control a card named Iname, Life Aspect, and a card named Iname, Death Aspect, you may sacrafice them. If you do, search your hand, library, and graveyard for a card named Iname, Master of Life and Death, and put it into play. Then, shuffle your library.
When Iname, Master of Life and Death comes into play, you may put any number of Spirits from your hand into play.

I like this. Its been a while since we've had a Spirit of the Night/Viashivan Dragon type creature, and it would certainly explain the absurd casting cost. However, Aspect does not show up at all on the orb, so it can't refer to the previous Iname by name. Perhaps they just used the "name" mechanic for saviors (Sacrifice two cards with Iname in their name: Put ~this~ into play. Play this ability only if ~this~ is in your hand (graveyard, library, removed from game zone, trade binder, whatever....))
Iname appears 3 times only, and no "aspect" in the orb.
So i would like to guess this ghastly iname has a comes into play & a leaves play trigger, as
Iname, blah blah - 8BBGG
When Iname, blah blah comes into play, you may return any number of spirit cards from your graveyard to your hand.
Whenever Iname, blah blah leaves play, destroy all spirits.
8/8
Not a great effect, but it's just something, something design for

and

.
In another word, a card designed just for grave digger.

I checked every word and it shows up on the orb. Not sure if it should have trample of anything like that. But I'm pretty sure this is the sort of thing WOTC would have in mind for the casting cost. I mean look at the Myojin......

Something that references Iname twice.
8/8 (4/4? those are the two elegant choices)
Edit: I suppose the most obvious option is:
When Iname, goes into a graveyard from play you may return Iname to play at end of turn.
Or maybe
When Iname, goes into a graveyard from play you may remove Iname from the game. If you do, <do something cool>.

One puts spirits from your deck into discard.
One puts spirits from your discard into hand.
That means that if they make another one, it probably does something like the Green Myojin, and puts spirits from your hand into play.
