Does anyone else see the potential of this card as an additional win-con in literally any storm deck. It's CMC, abilities and the fact that it's an Uncommon have me shaking my head in disbelief. Am I missing something? This card looks incredible to me.

Mythic uncommons are generally first picks over a lot of rares (Grip of Desolation). It's unlikely most high level drafters will take this over a lot of mono colored rares, or even a lot of mono colored uncommons. Taking a first pick that sets you into two colors or may not make your deck based on how the packs break is not always a good idea, basically unless the pack is very shallow.
Perhaps I should've stated, "Outside of Limited, this card is bonkers".
Then you're misusing the phrase "mythic uncommon".
Also, Monastery Swiftspear has existed for about a year and literally no Storm deck plays it. This should be no different. It'll see play in more tempo or aggro style decks.

Whenever someone claims to hate blue I automatically assume they're a bad player.
Storm decks don't need creatures to win, although some pack Dark Confidant in the sideboard (or there was a time when they did). This one isn't powerful enough to change that. Guttersnipe is arguably much better for storm.
