I still rather have had a new Bolas. I never got too attached to Narset, no idea why so many wanted her in this so much. Her -2 is good, her ult is ok, but crap against creature heavy decks.
That game day Thunderbreak Regent looks incredible. So does the Sunscorcher Regent. Is that prerelease promo art or what?
As a dragon collector, I knew some day this day would come...the day when a set dedicated entirely to dragons would be released and I would spend the next two years trying to get all of the dragons...the sudden price spikes due to speculation on older dragons has already killed me.
Narset! And if I'm not mistaken, she's the first planeswalker to have a non-evergreen keyword!
Dragon Fodder and Evolving Wilds are much welcomed reprints, and I'm rather happy with the art on both of them. The only lackluster point for me is the megamorph cycle - although I do think Gudul Lurker and Salt Road Ambushers are pretty cool.
first top 8 card in a while for gamesday instantly playable, have to top 8 all of the ones neabry then. Also, how do you get the different art Ojutai's command?
I've never been a fan of W/U but Narset is truly amazing! I'm tempted to build an Azorius deck around her.
Also, that Thunderbreak Regent promo is gorgeous!
Love me some high quality 4 CMC Planeswalkers! Especially when they're in my favorite guild's colors. Her ultimate, however, doesn't scream "win-the-game" to me, mainly because there are obviously decks out there that can and do win with mostly just creatures. That Lurker though! And go ahead and sign me up for that full art Thunderbreak Regent!
Edit: Anyone notice how the Dragon Fodder and Evolving Wilds are common and have rare stickers on them? Kinda weird

You can buy a box or be good friends with your local shop owner.
Sweet cards today! Narset is wicked, she doesn't protect herself but maybe being 6 loyalty for 4 mana makes her standard viable once hero's downfall rotates out? Green dragon is awesome and the new dragon reducer is going in every dragon tribal deck ever
The uncommon megamorphs are all very cool for limited. Not sure how strong the white one is though, I think it looks stronger than it is

As long as you can protect Narset she will quickly carry you to win. Much card advantage and value.

Card advantage by a ton, 4 mana and starting at 6 loyalty... Plus CA and a near game ending ultimate. Nice.
MTGS egos at their finest.
Thoughts on proxies:
You can buy a box or be good friends with your local shop owner.
Her ultimate is irrelevant but her +1 is something every control deck can use and her -2 will crush people under raw value.
Most at home in a WU control shell, but she can fit in a lot of different decks. Imagine -2 followed up by an End Hostilities. Or a Winds of Qal Sisma. Or Anger of the Gods. You get the idea.
The uncommon megamorphs are all very cool for limited. Not sure how strong the white one is though, I think it looks stronger than it is
Lol are you joking? She is busted.
I also like the non dragon tribal support as well.
